Waves Labs announced its first community grants, including 3,000 WAVES for the Go Education Fund to reward tutorial creators and 9,000 WAVES for Waves Mania's node infrastructure. BitcoinMYK applied for funding to tokenize Bitcoin on Waves and fund a universal basic income scheme.
Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today I'm excited to tell you about Waves Labs has released its first round of grants to the Waves community to build better, greater projects to make the user experience with Waves better, as well as create better products for us to use. And I'm very impressed by Waves being, uh, or turn this attention to the community and investing in the community to make a better platform. I think that's a fantastic idea, uh, one I, uh, strongly support. Um, and so we'll look at a list of some of the projects that have received funding on this list. The Waves Go Education Fund is one of them. They were granted 3,000 Waves, which is about close to about $9,000 USD, I think. So, so not bad. Uh, the Waves Go Education Fund aims to provide financial support for the most active community members who help to grow the Waves ecosystem by publishing useful educational materials such as manuals, videos, and tutorials. The fund is already active and has supported some providers of educational content. The grant will be spent on supporting the project and improving the fund's financial resources. The grant will be distributed among authors of valuable content, incentivizing them to create new educational materials. As a result, Waves Knowledge Base will grow while the authors will be remunerated for their work. So that is just fantastic, guys. And this is the power of the Waves community. And I think just from the beginning, When I started to use the Waves platform, I just saw it, you know, from, from the very beginning. The history of my content is filled with Waves videos because I really like the Waves product. And there's many other projects here that have been awarded. Waves Roy is an incentivized, incentivizes base ecosystem. It's a token reward, uh, that is basically, uh, when you lease Waves to the Waves World Node. Okay, um, and, and, uh, I'm going to leave a link in the description, uh, as well. Waves Mania, the grant will be spent on the maintenance and development existing project built around the Waves ecosystem and on the maintenance of Waves Mania Node. So I know a lot of people are looking at this going, what about BitcoinMYK? Don't worry, guys, we have applied. We just applied today, um, uh, to, to the, um, 2D Waves grants at Waves Labs. And, uh, uh, and I, like I said, Waves is just a brilliant, a brilliant, um, uh, platform. You know, looking at it, it almost seems almost perfect to me. You know, the only thing, only thing I see with Waves is I predicted it would be a top 10 token. That hasn't happened yet, but it's going to happen. I'm, I'm, I feel it's going to happen. So I might have predicted a little bit too early. But the only thing with Waves that I see that's been a problem, I think, for me so far is just that sometimes when I talk to people about Waves, not everybody knows about Waves or they kind of know about it, but they don't know a great deal about it. So I think awareness of Waves, like with the— that's why I think the educational Waves educational program interested me so much because to To me personally, that's the only problem I see with Waves. I think the system is stable, robust, uh, it's reliable, um, you know, it's very user-friendly. The, the wallet, the mobile wallet app is integrated into the decentralized exchange, so it's very easy for a person who's new to crypto to use a very user-friendly interface and then be able to trade their tokens within the same wallet, and that's just amazing. And as we can see here, there are many other new products you're going to be able to use now from these, these series of grants, right? And so, of course, our project Bitcoin NYK, what we call the Bitcoin Waves Network, which kind of gives this representative value of Bitcoin in Waves tokens, yet the Waves tokens are, or these tokens are all based on the Waves platform. And I think that's going to be very interesting. Using a part of the, uh, that as part of our universal basic income program to mass adopt. And so I think this is— Waves is going to be one of these platforms that can deliver all of this to the people. And us working with Waves, um, I think it's going to be great for us, great for Waves, great for the entire community. So very excited to bring you guys this news. Um, Pay attention.
