In this YouTube segment, the host welcomes viewers and dives into the official Westworld Season 2 trailer, confirming the series will premiere on April 22, 2018—just in time for Emmy eligibility. He recaps the key visual and narrative beats from the trailer: the ongoing host rebellion, Delos Corporation’s attempts to intervene, and the emergence of a large‑scale war. He highlights Maeve’s continued search for her daughter, which now leads her into a newly introduced Shogun (Samurai) world, expanding the park’s thematic zones beyond the original Westworld, Futureland, and Medievalland. The reviewer notes the series’ return to multiple timelines, showing William’s past, his ties to Logan and the Delos board, and a mysterious figure possibly being Logan’s father. He mentions Charlotte’s role on the Delos board, a scene with a character named Louise outside the park, and the evolving relationships between humans and hosts, including Dolores, Teddy, and Bernard/Arnold. The host speculates on thematic undercurrents such as Ford’s vision of hosts as humanity’s next evolutionary step. He concludes with enthusiastic anticipation, urging viewers to like, subscribe, and stay tuned for the upcoming season.

Hey you, welcome back to the channel. And guys, today we got the Westworld Season 2 official trailer. Also some very good news, scheduled to air, I believe it's April 22nd of this month. So Westworld is coming out really fast, just in time to— some earlier predictions were made just in time to be up for nominations for Emmys. I believe, if I'm not mistaken, they've, they've hit that deadline. But I'm very excited to see them come out this soon. Game of Thrones, we know, will be coming out a lot later this year or early 2019. Thought Westworld would be pushed up, but it's not. And the trailer gave us quite an interesting look at at what we can expect from Westworld. So, you know, obviously we know from season 1 we were left off with this type of big rebellion with the hosts in the park, and it seems that the rebellion continues. There are a lot of hosts rising up, and the Delos Corporation, the outside forces, seem to be coming in trying to control the situation. Um, and that doesn't seem to be going so well, uh, for, uh, you know, at least we can't hardly tell right now. But there does seem to be a large war going on here. Um, also what was very interesting, the trailer, what we got to see was we got to see that Maeve is still on her hunt for her daughter. It looks like she ends up in Shogun World. Um, if we go back to the Original Westworld movie and book where all of this derived from, there were several worlds that ran in the Westworld park, or there were several parks. There was like Futureland. I believe it might have been Medieval Land or something like that. Then it was like the the Westworld part where we start off in this series. But here it looks like, uh, it's a little bit different. Looks like they got Shogun world, they got, uh, or Samurai world, and then they got, um, uh, so I don't know if it's gonna be like a future world in, in this. Uh, there also seems to be— they're using the multiple timeline things again. We get to see William and I think what it's going for, it looks like we're going to see a lot of history on how William got to the point. We know he became the man in black, but some other information about how him and Logan were part of the Delos Corporation. And I believe we actually get a shot that's been going around online of this, uh, the mysterious gentleman walking, uh, at the Westworld park. I believe that's Logan's father. And we know William was, uh, pretty, pretty much was running in the Delos Corporation, or he had a big, big, um, presence there, a big board seat. Uh, we also get to see— I believe her name was, um, uh, was it, um, uh, um, uh, her name escapes me, uh, who was the board— Charlotte. Charlotte is her name. Charlotte. We get to see her with the Delos Corporation, and they're coming in, and they seem to be trying to put down the host rebellion. We also get a shot of, uh, um, uh, Deloy's, um, um, outside of the park. It looks like she's, uh, I'm sorry, Louise, uh, outside of the park. Um, and she's— I, I'm not sure, it might be that she was taken out of the park. Looks like she's having a conversation with a, with a younger man, a Black, a, a younger William. Um, and so I don't know if he took her out of a park, or I don't know if this is some type of facility inside Westworld, or it could just be, um, William inside of Westworld, um, with, um, uh, Dolores as a type of, um, uh, as a type of, uh, uh, the concierge type thing they had going, like what we've seen with Charlotte. And they were able to kind of have these relationships with the hosts inside the park. So very interesting. It looks good, guys. I'm excited to see, um, you know, basically, um, you know, what's gonna— what's gonna— where it's gonna pick up at. Um, and it's this month, so we don't have that long to wait. So guys, very excited about, um, um, uh, you know, what we're seeing here. Uh, Teddy— Teddy seems to still be the good guy, right? Uh, he— we get this shot with Teddy. He's asking, uh, Dolores if that's what, uh if that's what she wants, all the bloodshed from the rebellion. So I'm kind of getting the impression that Teddy would rather a more civil way to deal with the situation between the hosts and humans now. But as we got to understand Ford's vision, he finally came to the conclusion in the Westworld series that the hosts were the next step in evolution for humankind. That seems to be the going theme with him. And Arnold, right? And of course we get Arnold back, or Bernard rather, who's like a copy of Arnold. And he's trying to come to terms with what's going on, where he fits in. So it looks like he might be joining. They might be able to help him understand what's going on. He's coming in on their side and going to be a part of this rebellion. But guys, anyway, that's all I want to say about Westworld. Awesome, everything looks awesome, guys. I can't wait to get back into Westworld, guys. If you like content like this, don't forget to like and subscribe. And until next time, take care.
