In this YouTube commentary, the host reacts to the first visual reveal of Ares for the upcoming Wonder Woman film. He praises the animal‑skull helmet and the comic‑book‑style design, but expresses concern about Ares’ on‑screen height, arguing that the god should tower over other characters rather than appear as an average‑sized human. He references similar design choices in Batman v Superman (Steppenwolf hologram) and X‑Men: Apocalypse (taller Four Horsemen) to support his point. The host also notes that Ares is a shapeshifter in the comics, suggesting multiple possible cinematic forms, and points to an action‑figure that mirrors the revealed look as evidence the film will use this design. Throughout, he conveys optimism that Wonder Woman will succeed where other DC movies have faltered, urges viewers to share their opinions on Ares’ size and comic‑book fidelity, and ends with a standard call‑to‑action for likes, shares, and subscriptions.

Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. And today we got some good news about the Wonder Woman movie set to be released later this year. Uh, we get our first look at Ares, the god of war, and we can see that he's wearing his, uh, famous, uh, animal skull helmet. And I think it looks great. Uh, I'm excited that we get to see, uh, Ares depicted more so in his comic book form. And I think that's gonna work good for the Wonder Woman movie. I guess my only concerns, guys, is that, you know, what's gonna be the height of Ares? I personally would like to see him, you know, a bit taller than the other characters in comparison to them, so he can kind of tower over them. In Batman vs. Superman, deleted scenes, we know we got that release of Steppenwolf, his hologram image in the Krypton scout ship, and he appeared large in a hologram. But now, as I understand, and I know in the comic books he's pretty much average height, he's about 6 feet tall, and I hope they don't go that route. I hope they make these gods tower above the other characters and not just like look like normal humans. You know, flipping over to the Marvel side a little bit, I remember when they did Apocalypse and X-Men Apocalypse, and, and, you know, it was— there were shots with him where some of the characters were the Four Horsemen or the other X-Men, they were taller than he was. And I really like that, you know. And so I hope they don't make the mistake here with Wonder Woman, but I think it's great, guys. I think You know, this is, this is a, this is a plus. I do think the Wonder Woman movie is going to succeed where a lot of the other DC movies have failed, despite the, despite the rumors. And so guys, very, very much excited about what we're getting here. Let me know what you guys think. Let me know if you you know, like me, think that he should appear a lot taller than the other characters. Um, and let me know if you like them going to come more so the comic book, um, you know, route. You know, as well, um, Ares pretty much could be a shapeshifter in this movie. You know, we know that Ares appears in many, in various forms throughout the comic books, from old men to, um, you know, he could be a a soldier, he could be anything. So he can take on many shapes and forms. But, you know, the fact that they're selling his, his, this merchandise action figure here that appears this way, you know, it's telling me that we're gonna get him this way in the movies at some point. So I'm excited, guys. I think it's gonna work very well. Don't forget to share this across social media. Don't forget to like and subscribe, and until next time, guys, take care.
