Xen Crypto - Xendependence Day!

A breakdown of Xen's Xendependence Day event and the VAMP token, which launches on Ethereum and converts to X1 on the Aurora blockchain. The speaker warns against crypto cult dynamics, explains VAMP's lock-up mechanics designed to reduce speculation, and advises treating it as a small, risky portfolio piece, not a core holding.

Welcome back to the channel. I hope you all are having a great Fourth of July weekend. For those of you all who aren't in the United States, uh, Zindependence Day is upon us. So let's talk about Zindependence Day. What's going on with that? What are my thoughts on it? What are the good, the good, the bad? Uh, you know, we make a note on this channel. We just did a video talking about how the Pulse ecosystem, PulseChain, Richard Heart, HEX community, how they idolize Richard Heart so much. And they're kind of like in this cult-like situation. And when you start to get the people who try to break away as such, right, the punishment comes down on them. They get blocked as such and et cetera, censored. And so that community is starting to wake up. And the lesson we're learning from that Don't idolize any cryptocurrency. Go on the fundamentals of the cryptocurrency. And there's no different in the XAN community. So, uh, that's why this channel, uh, has— we've kept, uh, our same loyal subscriber base. It's people who, uh, the people who listen at us, they, they want to just hear the absolute truth. They're not the hypers. They're not people who just, you know, want to scam people, make money and such. And so our numbers don't go up like your favorite YouTubers who tell you what you want to hear. And that's all right. That's okay. All right. There's a place in this world for everything, but that's just not this channel. So Zen doesn't get a pass as well, guys. If you just come here to hear good stuff about Zen, I give you your pass out the door now, but you're not going to get that. I'm going to talk about the problems I have with Zen, what's happening with Zen Dependence Day. But I'll talk about the good things, the parts I see about Zen. Fortunately, Zen has come into that area of free cryptocurrency a little bit. I do believe it's a little exploitation of that, but it's a little bit of it's there, and that's better than 90% of cryptocurrencies. That said, it still has its problems. So let's talk about Zen Independence Day, what it is and what's happening. So To explain it a bit, the VAMP tokens, Independence Day, right? Uh, I believe it's July 4th is supposed to occur on Ethereum, right? Where you can get the VAMP. The VAMP token will be on Ethereum. That's the, the token that was launched on the Bitcoin blockchain as part of Ordinals and such. And I don't think— I think that was a good, a good idea actually. But so I must believe it took the attention off of the core products then. And now what you have is people buying cryptocurrencies that aren't free, and whereas it's very less participation in those cryptocurrencies. So it's a kind of repeat of the same things we've been doing in cryptocurrency. There's no revolution there. It's no, you know, that what we want to see, because if we just want to see more of making money cryptocurrencies, Richard Heart is probably the best guy for that, right? He probably performs at the best, right? In a gimmick-like way of making cryptocurrencies go up, and he does have a track record of doing it. So I don't think we need Zen for that, right? We got involved with Zen because of the revolution of fair crypto and everybody being able to participate. Now everybody's not going to be able to participate in the VAMP token, right, as such. But the thing is, here's how it goes, right? The VAMP token Uh, if you have it, right, you are going to be able to convert it to the X1 token that's coming out on the X, uh, the Aurora, the X1 blockchain, and the XIN token, right, which is the native token of that blockchain, not Zen, but of that blockchain. Now what is kind of clever though about how Zen's doing it is you are going to be able to convert all at once. Like a person who thinks they're gonna— they're gonna— because this happens a lot in cryptocurrency, people want to make quick, fast money. So what they do is they buy the cryptocurrency and they want to, you know, sell it as soon as they get it and get a little pump or something like that. So you're not gonna— so if that's your strategy, which I always thought was a bad strategy, but if it is, the problem you will have with that is you will not be able to convert the VAMP token into XIN immediately, right? It will be periods, which— and I think that's smart, right? That's one thing I thumbs up because I found out for even participating in projects like Hive where they have this staking mechanism where they have this thing called Hive Power where you lock up your coins and you can use it for various things like the VAMP token. You can use it for bridge fees and such. Um, you know, you have all that going. It— what it does is it keeps the cryptocurrency from crashing, right? So that's not a bad thing, right? You know, that's only bad for people who come in with a short investor mindset, which is generally bad in low liquid crypto markets, right? So if you're that kind of mindset in person, these projects probably aren't going to be great for you either way. Um, You know, that said, uh, you know, VAMP's also going to be a bridge cryptocurrency. Uh, you know, again, we talked about that in an earlier video where you're able to pay the fees for moving, you know, your, your coins over the, over the X1 blockchain and such. Um, so, uh, interesting, uh Should we hold VAMP? Uh, you know, I, I like about 50 to 60% of what VAMP is. I don't like the participatory aspect because I know a lot of you guys aren't gonna, you know, hold positions in it as such. And it's likely that people who are in the VAMP token, they've already established well positions well ahead of time, right? And I'm not fond of that because that doesn't feel fair to me. But Uh, it doesn't mean that it won't perform well, and, um, I wouldn't be against it being in your portfolio, you know, allowing some risk in it. You know, I'm not saying do that, especially if, uh, the principles of Zen, the reasons you got involved with, are different than they are now, right? As to say, I don't feel VIMP represents the original reasons I got involved with Zen. But if that's not a problem to you, You know, you, you know, you make the decision based on, you know, how you feel about that. Uh, I want to move on to talk about, you know, and I'm just going to say it, guys, let me be clear about it because we get people coming on the video saying Zen is the best, Zen the best. Zen is okay, but it's not the best. I think BitcoinNYK is the best. Uh, I don't think Zen is, uh, you know, a super great cryptocurrency any more than I think Pulse or uh, you know, HEX is, right? I do think it's better than Pulse and HEX, but, uh, what Pulse and HEX I think is teaching us is that we got to be careful idolizing these coins, right? And we should look at them from a standpoint of all of them being the same, uh, and some having more opportunity from others, but determining that after the proper research, right? So before I get out of here, let me talk about BitcoinMYK, a project I do think is good. That I'm involved with, but don't take my word for it. Do your own research on it. At least check it out and see if you're missing something, because like I said, guys, it's good to have all types of things in your arsenal at this point.
