WebPrez Dashboard Tutorial

Michael Viñal walks through the WebPres Video Dashboard: selecting and toggling videos, editing your profile, managing billing, and sharing videos via link, thumbnail, or embed. You can customize the email form at the end of each video or replace it with a redirect button to capture leads or drive traffic elsewhere.

Hi, this is Michael with WebPres, and this is your WebPres Video Dashboard. Now, everything you can do with your WebPres videos can be done from here, and the very first thing you will do is to select the videos you want to use. To do this, first click on one of the category tabs like this, then select the Videos button here at the top like this. This will bring up all the videos in that category. If you want to select videos from another category, just click on another category tab. If you've only purchased one category, then the other categories will not be available to you. You can see below each video a brief description of the target market and the purpose of the video. You can also click on the preview button to watch each video before deciding to activate it or not. Now to activate a video, you simply flip the switch in the upper right corner like this, and it will turn from gray to blue. To deactivate a video, you just flip the switch off and it will go back to gray. Be sure to preview all the videos before making your selections, and when you're done, you click on the Select Videos again up here at the top, and it will save your activated selections so that you can now use them. Alright, now after you've selected and activated your videos, you'll be brought back to the main page of your dashboard. You can click any of your newly activated videos to open your video webpage, and if you purchase more than one category, you can repeat this process for each category available to you. Now the second thing you want to do the first time you're on your dashboard is to click on your profile. This will open your profile form so that you can make any changes to your name, contact information, and your business description, just as you want them to appear below each of your videos on the video landing pages. You should also upload your photo image so that it will display next to your name and contact information like this. Please note that you should not paste your business description from a Word document into the text box because it will not be formatted correctly. Always type your business description word for word. Also under your profile, you will see two other tabs: billing information and login password. Whenever you need to update or replace your credit or debit card you authorize us to charge each month, this is where you will do it. And if you ever decide that you no longer want to use your WebPrez Videos, you may cancel your subscription by clicking on the cancel account button up here in the right-hand corner and following the prompts. Now this will immediately disable your dashboard and deactivate your videos as well as terminate your monthly billing. Whenever you want to update or change the email address or password you use to sign in, you click on Login Password to make those changes. Alright, now you can start using your WebPress videos. To begin with, when you want to play a video for someone, you can simply sign into this dashboard and click the play button like this. Of course, if you decide to add the videos to your website, you may also play the videos off your website. But playing your videos for a client or prospect in your office, or playing the videos wherever you meet with them, is by far the absolute best way to get results with these videos. All of the top producers using our videos have told us this, and this is what works best. Now when you want to send a video to someone by email, you may either click on Copy Link or Copy Image. When you click on Copy Link, you'll see a blue box display in the upper right corner of your screen telling you that the link for that video has been copied to your clipboard. This simply means that it is ready for you to paste into your email message. Of course, you can also paste this link into a blog post, a social media post, slide presentation, a newsletter, or any other type of digital medium. For example, you can open an email message and right-click your cursor in the body of your message. Let's go here. This will open a dropdown menu with the option to paste. You click on paste and your video link will immediately display in your message like this. And when the recipient of your email message clicks on this link, it will open your video webpage with your photo, contact information, and business description directly below the video player. Like this. One important note: if the link does not appear blue and underlined in your email message like it is here, do not be concerned. It's only a default setting with most mail clients. When the recipient of your email receives it, it will be blue and underlined so that it is clearly a clickable link. Now, if you prefer, you may also use the copy image link in exactly the same way. You do a couple extra steps just to do highlight the image and then copy the image with the link. It's now copied to your clipboard. And the only difference is that instead of a blue hypertext link to open your video webpage, it will display a small thumbnail image of the video like this. And when someone clicks on this image, it will also open your video webpage. Now, next we have a custom function for each video. This allows you to either remove the email response form that displays at the end of each video, or to replace it with a button that can redirect the viewer to your website, a lead capture form, or some sort of report, white paper, or quote engine. For example, this is what the response form looks like at the end of each video, and when someone fills it out, this information is instantly sent directly to your email address on file with us. But if you don't want the response form at the end, you can either remove it by clicking that, or you can replace it with a custom button that can redirect the viewer to wherever you want them to go. Finally, we have the embed function here in the upper left corner. Clicking on this tab will bring up two short lines of code that can be embedded into any web page. When a video is embedded, it means that the video will play right there within the page in which it is embedded. Like this. Unlike the link or image, the embed code will not open the page with your photo, name, contact information, and business description. Now when you select the embed code, you will also have a choice of responsive, large, or medium. This refers to the size of the screen that will display on your web page. The default setting is medium. But if you want to make it larger, simply select the Large radio button. The Responsive setting is really only used to optimize the video screen for websites on mobile devices. Now, if you don't know how to embed code on your website and you don't have a website developer to do it for you, you might prefer to simply use your image links instead of the embed codes because you can simply copy and paste them into any web page just as you would with simple text. So that's it. That's how easy it is to use your WebPress videos. You can literally copy and paste the text links, the image links, or the embed codes into any digital medium. And if you ever need a refresher on how to use this dashboard, just click on the tutorial here on the left. And of course, if you have any questions, we're here to answer them. But the first place to get your questions answered is right here under Got Questions. Thanks for listening.
