Anonymity as default in crypto (woj.eth, founder of Mazury)

Mazury lets you skip onboarding entirely and use your Ethereum address as your username, with no personal data required. An optional legal-name field exists for people with established brands. The founder envisions multiple disconnected online personas, each tied only to a government ID.
Can I have an anonymous Mazero profile?
Yeah, we support that.
You support that?
Yeah, we encourage that. So by default, if you're going to go through an onboarding process right now, you will see that by default, your Ethereum address is your username.
It's fine.
When you go to Mazero, you can literally skip the whole onboarding without leaving any data about yourself because we don't need it. At some point we will Highly suggest that you leave some contact data to us, but right now you can skip everything. And yeah, by default, your username is just your Ethereum address. We have an option so you can add your legal name, but only for people who spent 20— they have 20 years of experience and they built their whole personal brand about their legal name and you don't want to lose the social capital. But by default, everybody is anonymous.
But why do you encourage that?
Being anonymous?
Mm-hmm.
In this new paradigm, as I told you, you have a right to have 5 different lives on the internet. And our ideal case, our ideal scenario for the future of digital identity is where everybody lives this life disconnected from each other. So again, you have your professional self, you have your gaming self, you have your shitposting yourself, and you have your hobby 1, 2, 3 yourselves. And your legal government identity is the only factor that connects these 2. So the future where Mazure as the product is the most valuable is the future where you don't use your legal name on the internet and you're building very much for this. Maybe at some point it's going to show up. Our users will want to use these legal names and it turns out that people actually love the government-issued identities. Of course, there is a future like that. And as a business owner, I have a duty to adjust to this and listen to my users. But right now we're an opinionated product and we support anonymity.
I love it. I love how bold you guys are in taking these decisions. Do you think that your Ethereum address identity will trump the importance of your legal identity for the majority of people on Earth?
With the right set of tools and user experience that we will build over the next 5 years. I believe we have a shot for that. It's a bold thing. I don't want to be overly confident. Maybe as a startup founder, I should just say yes, mic drop. Just don't say anything else. That would be obviously not very informative, but this is what you want. Do you want this boldness? No, but the real answer is that obviously right now we are not ready for that. There's a huge set of problems with storing seed phrases of losing your identity, not leaving too much data on blockchains, blockchain scalability, everything right now is a problem. Okay. No, but let's break down—
