Maxim Perumal, founder of UNAI, keeps large-format art books by Takesada Matsutami and Joan Miró in his bedroom and glances at them daily for creative inspiration. The beautifully printed books give him a subtle but consistent lift.
Recently, I've been very inspired by Takesada Matsutami, who's a Japanese artist living in Paris, fantastic artist, and Miró, which is of course the famous painter. Recently, you know, I have those collected artworks, beautiful books, beautifully printed, and they sit in my bedroom, enormous book, and I just glance over them a little bit every day and sort of get a little high of inspiration just looking at those pieces of art.
