A developer forked Uniswap's open-source code, changed a few things, and launched SushiSwap in days. In DeFi, copying and tweaking existing protocols is fast and easy, and the forker can make money off the changes.
I think Uniswap is a very interesting example. You know, someone said, I disagree with some of the way it's being done. I'm going to take their code, I'm going to copy and paste it and make a few changes and launch this as a separate protocol called SushiSwap. Now you're saying, wow, you know, they launched that whole product in like 3 or 4 days because they were making this decision to take something that was out there open in the world and have a way to be compensated for these small changes that they made on top of it. Right.
