Use numbers instead of month names for folder prefixes so they sort chronologically, not alphabetically. Avoid periods in folder names because they break spreadsheet imports and data exports. Use underscores or dashes instead.

I highly recommend doing your naming conventions of your folders using chronological numbers and not using just the alphabetical name of the month like April, because these folders always sort alphanumerically, meaning that the numbers will be first and then starting alphabetically A through Z. So you'll get April and August at the beginning of the folder list before you see January and June. So I'm going to go ahead and right-click one more time to see that shortcut of Menu items, and I can rename my folder and we can go ahead and change the date here. Adding in this period here is actually, could be a little bit of a headache down the road. If you ever export this data and you're working in an Excel spreadsheet, using that period can be really difficult when you're separating things into columns. So it's been recommended to use either an underscore or a dash.
