In this tutorial segment, the presenter walks through the initial steps required to clone an existing program into a newly created folder using Postman. First, a new folder named "2022-04 Paid Campaigns" is created by sending a POST request with the folder name, specifying the parent type as "folder", and providing the parent folder ID. The parent ID is obtained from a prior request that retrieved the folder’s details by name, which also returned its parent ID. This setup prepares the environment for the subsequent cloning operation.

So, we want to first create a 2022-04 Paid Campaigns folder. And then we're going to clone this old program into the new folder. So, going back to Postman, we want to first find our folder. And we're going to go to the Create a Folder section. And in the body here, we're going to call this 2022-04 Paid Campaigns. And the parent type is going to be folder. And then we just need the parent ID. And you'll remember before, when we made the request to get the ID of this folder using its name, it also returned the ID of the parent folder. So we can get the parent folder ID from that previous request.
