Additive manufacturing consolidates dozens of parts into one. A jet engine example shows 20 components merged into a single printed part, cutting documentation, logistics, and traceability costs while delivering high returns.

What's interesting and unique about that is, is think about the economic value of being able to do that. And what I mean by that is, forget for a second the manufacturing, the welding, the brazing versus a single printed part. Think about just the documentation, the logistics, and the tracking of all of 20 different components going into one jet engine. Yes. Traceability and the cost associated with that. is dramatic by getting it down to one part. So that's a, you know, so high value-added application that arguably is much more niche, but we're starting to see areas like that where it's high return, highly, you know, specific. Yes. That part reduction and the unique characteristics of additive as compared to subtractive processes are creating value for customers.
