What are some of the things you do when leading an event to achieve the event's goal?
I spend a lot of time with leadership and the subject matter experts actually prior to an event to align on those goals and where we're headed for the future state. And we talk about incremental improvements, but we also talk about those giant advancements that are going to make a difference. And so when I go into an event, we already have in mind what some of the future of that organization is leading towards. And as we're working as a team, leading the team through each of the stages of Kaizen Event, we work on going back to those goals and identifying each day how we're going to actually implement the future state, design it with those goals in mind, and then align the improvements so that way we're successful towards those goals.
