Your subconscious runs on default programming unless you actively reprogram it. The speaker argues that matching your internal frequency to your desired outcomes requires deliberate work, because your conscious mind can only override old patterns temporarily. Without ongoing reprogramming, you'll keep reverting to the same behaviors.
Chapters
As a man, as a woman, as a leader, as a husband, father, wife, young individual making their mark on the world, you have to forge an identity that really reflects where you want to go. You have to think, I have to get my frequency to match my desired outcome. And the frequency is a reflection of basically attunement of your identity, of how you're showing up, of how you feel about yourself, how you feel about the world. And if you are not doing that, guess what? It's passively happening to you. So you either grab life by the horns and you make it what you want, and then you also get intentional about programming and reprogramming your subconscious mind to reflect what you want and the identity that you want to express in life, or you're just going to be coasting. Even if you're struggling and working hard to overcome those things, if you're not working on that subconscious mind, you're always going to be deeply handcuffed by whatever the old programming— because that's the default program. The way our subconscious versus our conscious mind works is the moment we focus on something, we can overrule, override. Like, you can override your subconscious mind by turning your head and looking that way, the moment you turn back, your subconscious mind is going to go back to the default and whatever the default programming that's still there, that's what's going to manifest.
