Do you feel like a tit? Have you spent weeks or months trying to teach your dog how to walk on a lead and they still don't do it? Dude, I was just answering some emails and it— I have an overwhelming amount of people that feel like a tit because they've paid loads of money, they can't achieve something that seems so simple. But every time I talk to them, it's not the only problem. No one ever just has a dog that pulls on the lead. I The dog also gets the zoomies regularly. Red flag. The dog also sometimes gets so overwhelmed they can't accept food anymore. This dog also has terrible recall. They're restless in the evenings. They're not sleeping 18 to 20 hours a day. It's more like 12. And when you look at that, and then a dog trainer like me says, yeah, they're all related, it's all— all of those are happening because your dog every day is getting worse and worse and worse. Now you feel like a tit and you're like, yeah, why did I just spend loads of time and money on just one of the behaviours? When actually they're all related to one underlying problem or two, like arousal or frustration. Should probably work on that.
