Mon enfance et mes galères 🏫

In this personal testimony, Mohamed Boclet recounts his upbringing as the child of immigrant parents who never attended school. Born in the Bichat area of Paris (18th arrondissement), he faced a lack of academic support at home, leading to repeated failures in early primary school (repeating CP and nearly a second time). His father was summoned by the school and informed that Mohamed would be placed in a "classe de perfectionnement" due to his difficulties, a moment that shocked him. Boclet describes the harassment and mockery he endured at school, emphasizing how these hardships shaped his educational journey. He explains that sharing this story serves a purpose: to restore hope and self‑esteem for people who have experienced similar academic struggles, positioning his current work as a response to his own painful past.
