I know that there's a better way to heal. I don't want to identify as somebody who is sick, who has a heart condition. This makes no sense. And the irony of this entire story is that I knew that there was a better way. And so in that moment on the surgery table, I knew that I had to go back to my roots. And that's exactly what I did. I went and I lived at the ashram for two months, and that's when I became a yoga teacher, just for my own personal healing and rather the. At the ashram, returning to all of those ancient healing principles, my heart palpitations subsided. So maybe for the first time in decades, I became present to my thoughts, the quality of my thoughts, which God, nobody in this world should have ever heard. My feelings, my emotions, the things that I was stuffing into my body. And, like, you know, if you stuff things into your body and then focus on doing, doing, doing, doing, doing. I just ignored everything. Here's what's going on. And I think that, you know, did I need the heart surgeries? Like, I really think that had. I have done just a lot of this introspection work, you know, work with different coaches and guides.
