Dave Asprey describes mitochondria as quantum-entangled sensors with a form of consciousness that make decisions and produce hormones. Deep meditation synchronizes the mitochondrial network, making it more coherent and less reactive to stress, which he sees as foundational to healing and longevity.
I'm so sick of people, like, just talking about the powerhouse of yourself. Can you paint a picture of what was the state of your mitochondria when your health was at its worst versus the state of your mitochondria right now?
Your mitochondria are foundation. They're filtering reality to show you a teeny tiny bit of it that they think you need to know. And reality is a quantum foam or something. And what the mitochondria do is they cluster around microtubules that are quantum entangled with reality. And when you realize mitochondria are environmental sensors, they're a separate consciousness. They sense, they decide. And then they can also manufacture. And they can manufacture stress hormones, they can manufacture melatonin, they can manufacture heat, and they can just manufacture stress. Right. So, wow, what would happen if you meditated or you did any of the techniques in? Heavily meditated and it allowed your mitochondrial network to become more coherent and more focused and more in tune, and then you turned off all your triggers?
They're really the solution to longevity, to feeling better.
