This is a YouTube video titled "Is Modern Life Making Our Kids Sick?" containing a conversation recorded on April 22, 2025, discussing the pervasive presence of plastics and chemicals in the environment and their health impacts, with Mona Sharma contributing advice on reducing exposure at home.

The biggest category for exposure for kids is plastics because it's everywhere. It's so ubiquitous in our environment that it's in our water. Now, as we all know and have heard about the microplastics everywhere. And it's so troubling because it's endocrine disrupting. It will blow your mind to see what is in the municipal water. It's unbelievable. Cancer causing chemicals. Endocrine disrupting chemicals. You have to filter your water if you live in a city.
If they're going to start with three things at home, going through, dishing all the plastic, right? Replacing with glass or steel, looking into your water, whether it's a water filtration system or water delivery. And then third, I have to dive into the chemicals from cleaners.
And personal care products.
