It’s Not Just You. The System Is Making Us Sick ⚠️🌱 | Zach Bush, MD

Zach Bush, MD talks with Mona Sharma about how industrial farming is making us sick and why rebuilding agriculture through human relationships is the answer. He argues personal stories drive the change we need.
We gotta rebuild this whole farming system from the ground up at the level of human relationships.
Zach if this was front page news, which it should be, there would be more activism, there would be more awareness, there would be more people kind of making informed choices every single day. And it's not.
What does change people is human story. Yeah, it was farmers stories that were really changing the needle. It usually has to do with their children ending up in jail or their child diagnosed with leukemia, or, you know, some other horrible thing has happened in the family which is the trigger to make the change. And then they make this change and nature comes leaping up out of there and wraps their her arms around these families. And these families find themselves in abundance just a few years later. And so that story of farmers saying I went from absolutely at the bottom to abundance in a three year period really caught traction. Especially those stories where we started to see that the farmers that were making the change back to good farming soil practices and then going direct to consumer relationship were inspiring the children to come back to the farm.
