Can we just talk about what does low grade inflammation look like?
1 is BMI is not a great tool, but it does give a sense. Specifically, if you have a lot of kind of fat around your belly, that can be a signal that you have low levels of inflammation. If you've ever been diagnosed with any form of metabolic disease. So type 2 diabetes as well as pre diabetes will translate into significantly higher rates of having low levels of inflammation. Same with hypertension and general cardiovascular disease. These are signals. Other things would be a person's experiencing brain fog. The reasoning because inflammation in your body is causing your brain to have trouble.
Thinking, when it becomes systemic, it impacts the entire body. Right? We tend to focus on the the brain, the heart and the gut microbiome. But when we understand that everything is connected, can we all assume that to some degree, with all the kind of insult that we take in every day, do we all have some degree of brain inflammation?
In terms of the chronic low level inflammation, there's a couple of incinerations. So one is what is actually causing the inflammation. That may be even more important in certain cases than actually measuring the inflammation.
