Mona Sharma and Julianne discuss three pillars of wellbeing: food as medicine, movement as therapy, and mindfulness. They emphasize starting the day with physical activity to release emotions, and using practices like gratitude and journaling when feeling out of alignment. The key is building a personal toolbox of practices that works for you.

The three pillars that I really take from the ashram. First and foremost, obviously, food is medicine, but movement is therapy. It's energy in motion. People have the same experience when they're on the yoga mat, right? They just get up. It's emotion being released in the body. Move your body first thing in the morning, and if that doesn't align with you, then really go to mindfulness, because mindfulness is the therapy. Mindfulness is what brings us back to the journey every time we get out of alignment. And this could look like a gratitude practice journaling. Journaling looks like something that you love and you're spreading the awareness around that.
I switch it up constantly because I do listen. Because if I do the same thing constantly, I get a little bored, and so I switch it up. But then I always come back and I always make sure that I'm balanced in a way where I find expression. Within each of these things that work.
For me, you've built a tool set, a whole toolbox of things that you can go into when you need them. And it's really about finding a system that works for you.
