Can You Leave the Twin Soul Journey? Why I Don't Think It's Possible

Um, the first question I have here is, why do you want to leave? Why do you want to leave your twin soul journey? Um, so I've seen a couple reasons that people want to hear, or people want to leave the twin soul journey. So one is that you've been hurt by your twin, and it can be through fighting, through cheating, or through neglect, abandonment, avoidance, uh, basically just not receiving love from your twin. It could also be that you lost your twin through death, divorce, marriage, or their relationship with someone else. So, um, with the marriage piece, it could— and with the relationship piece, it could be that either you or them, um, got married or got into a new relationship. Um, it could also be that you're tired of your twin and their drama. It could be that you're not seeing any results in the physical. So maybe you've been doing a ton of your inner work and you're still blocked on Facebook and you don't know why. Um, you're not seeing that the result of them coming closer to you in the physical. Um, it could also be that you want to get on with your life, um, get married, have children, that sort of thing. I know for me, uh, when I was going through my divorce, this was something that I was thinking about. Basically, I knew I did not want to be married or to have children with my ex-husband. So it was a situation where I was like, "Well, you know, I would kind of like to have children someday and I want to give myself the chance to do that, so I need to leave this relationship." And it was hard to leave that relationship because I was raised in in a religion, specifically Catholicism, where it's like divorce was worse than death, basically. It was— or like divorce was a death, um, and it was just a challenge to leave that relationship even though it was— it made me unhappy and it was toxic and abusive and all these other things. Um, so maybe you're in that situation where you are tired of the toxicity with your twin and you just want to get on with your life and have a more have a normal life, um, according to society. So that— it's helpful to you to identify what that reason is that you want to leave. And so now I'll ask the second question: why did you start the twin soul journey to begin with? Um, and this is again an interesting question. So typically, um, the reason you started the journey is because you had a desire in your heart. This is kind of the reason that we do anything, the reason that we want anything, the reason that we need anything. It really starts with a desire in our heart. Um, so you may have desired a cosmic connection, you may have desired a special love with your person or your partner, you may have desired someone to grow with on your spiritual journey. A spiritual partnership. Um, what you need to know though, whatever your reasons for starting the twin soul journey— and these are only some of them— um, you can still have all those things, and to deny what you want in your heart is futile. So I, I say this because I see people who, they believe that their you know, maybe they have had a bad experience with a twin soul or with someone they thought was their twin soul, and they, um, instead of rejecting that person as their twin soul, they end up rejecting the journey overall. So they say like, I don't believe in twin souls anymore, twin souls are not real, um, this doesn't work, you know, and so on. And so they, they end up rejecting journey as opposed to the specific person who is revealing themselves to not be right for them. Um, and what you're really doing if you're rejecting the journey, uh, it's really you're rejecting that initial desire you had in your heart. Um, so you're rejecting that, you know, desire for the cosmic connection. You're rejecting that desire for the spiritual partnership. And, you know, I say this in a number of, um, my, you know, in a bunch of my content, but the spiritual partnership piece, it's really that— it's this idea of the twin soul trinity, which is, um, really that as you and your twin soul grow closer to your higher power, you also grow closer to each other. Um, that is what spiritual partnership is. That is what having someone to grow with is. Um, that is what a cosmic connection is. So So, um, that's kind of the foundation of twin soul work, and it's likely that that's what you desired. Um, now some people, you know, I think there are some people who could say like, I desired that specific person, like I wanted to be dating that person, and I thought the twin souls was gonna get me that person. Um, and it didn't get me that person, so I don't believe in twin souls. And that's fine as well, but it's like, um, I would then, I would then kind of like extract that. So it's like, what did you want about that specific person? Because that is pretty weird to like want a specific person. Um, it's like, what did you actually want, um, from that person? Or what did that person represent to you? What was that person symbolic of for you? So get to the root of like why you started that journey and know that no matter what direction you go, you still want that thing, um, in some form. And so that's very important. If you deny yourself that you want that thing, it's gonna cause you problems. So the work remains the work. Um, this is really important. So whether you call it twin soul work or not, you still have to do the healing work to get this desire that you originally had. So nothing's changed about what you want, really. Whatever attracted you to the twin soul journey, even if it was a specific person, it's like you still want what that person, um, you know, was symbolic of to you. You still want what that person represented to you. Nothing has really changed about that, even though you didn't get the results you wanted through twin soul work. Um, but you know, whatever that thing is that you wanted, the healing work is going to be the same to get you there. Um, so you can call it the twin soul journey, you could— or the twin flame journey. You can not call it that. You could just call it like dating or romance or relationship or whatever else you want to call it. But either way, um, the healing work that you need to do is going to be the same. And, um, I'll give you— well, I'll tell you something general and then I'll give you an example. So you could meet your twin, you could marry your twin, you could even have children with your twin soul. Even if they're a perfect match to you, you still have to do the work to get the relationship you want. Um, and this is something that I don't know that everybody necessarily realizes. Um, your perfect match is kind of like a foundation for you, but it's not— it's not the end result. It's not— it's not your perfect life just because you have your perfect partner. The two of you have to really work at the relationship still. And this is something that I experienced myself because I kind of fell into having my perfect partner, which is not— it's not actually true. Um, I, I had— because I had been doing a lot of healing work, um, but I wasn't doing it— I wasn't doing it through the twin soul journey at first. Um, so what was happening for me is that, um, I had been with my ex-husband, and at some point I realized, like— and I really trusted God to be— to, like, get into that relationship and to continue on that relationship. I kept trusting in God, and I was like, um, you know, it's, it's gonna get better. Um, it's this person or it's better. Like, I really had that mentality. And then at some point I was looking at my relationship with my ex-husband and I was like, this is not better than what I had, um, before with like this previous person that I was dating. I was like, this is not better. Like, God screwed me. Like, I was really like, um, confused by this. And so then I you know, I had to do this healing work to get out of that relationship. And then I met my husband, um, and he, you know, he continues every day to reveal himself to be my perfect match. Um, but when our relationship started, um, I wasn't even working on the twin soul stuff. I was actually working on my divine purpose, which is it It really is the same thing. It's just like a different path of ascension. Um, but because of that, I was able to like call in my twin soul, basically, because I was on that, um, divine purpose path, um, to— which is, which is just another ascension path. Um, and so I did call in my twin soul, um, and my perfect match. And he, like, every day continues to reveal himself to be my perfect match. Like, we just had a child, and like He is my perfect partner and my perfect co-parent to that child. And it's crazy, but I didn't really plan for that. And so he is the perfect match and he always has been. And at the same time, he— like, we had to do a lot of work to get there. Like, we both had brought like a bunch of toxicity to the relationship. We had a lot of toxic patterns at first, even though he was my twin. We had a lot of toxic patterns at first. And, you know, we had to, like, we didn't have our perfect life. Like, we had to do a lot of work around, like, finding our perfect place. So now we live in a home that's, like, really, like, perfectly suited to us, but it took so much work to get there. Finding our perfect jobs, finding our perfect rhythms, You know, in our relationship, like, even though he's our— he's like the perfect match for me, our relationship at the beginning was pretty rough. It was like kind of terrible actually for the first couple years. We like fought a lot. Um, it was really challenging, and that fighting continued even up until like— I would say up until like a year or two ago, or probably like probably 2 years ago at least. Um, but yeah, it was like up until like 2 years ago, our relationship was not great. Like, it was good in many ways, it was okay in many ways, but it wasn't great because we hadn't been doing the healing work. Um, so you still, you still have to do the healing work. You're gonna do it with your person, with like with your actual twin soul, or you're going to get into a relationship where you do the healing work and then, you know, that's going to lead you to your twin soul. So it's, so it's like you still have to do the work. Um, the person is not the desire. So to see or act like your twin soul creates a relationship is like saying that your college degree creates your career. Um, and this is yeah, I mean, this is kind of how people act. They kind of act like, well, if I could just get with my twin soul, then like my life would start unrolling perfectly. And it's really not the case. Your twin soul is a foundation, um, like that person is the foundation of, um, your ideal life, um, which is— it's different, right? It's a— and your person, like, I'll even take it a step further and say your person is the foundation of your perfect relationship. Because again, you can be with your person and it's not— it doesn't mean your relationship is going to be great. Um, it's just you have the— you have the opportunity to build the perfect relationship with that person. So finding a specific person is really only getting one of your ducks in a row. Um, it's just like finding your perfect career, and I understand this much better actually me around finding my perfect career because it took me so much work to find my perfect career. Um, but like, just knowing my perfect career doesn't mean that I am making, you know, a ton of money at it. Um, and then even when— because like, for years I wasn't making any money at this, um, doing my perfect career, which is, you know, ultimately as a writer and a teacher, that's my perfect career. Um, so I wasn't making money at it, and then I was making money at it, but I wasn't keeping money. Um, like, I wasn't able to scale my business because I didn't have those skills. So it's like, um, and so now I'm kind of in a place where, like, I am able to scale my business. Um, and it's like, uh, you know, just knowing what my perfect career was didn't make my career perfect, I guess. Um, it actually, you know, I think, I think it's actually the opposite a lot of the time. It's that your perfect person and your perfect career, they're actually going to bring up all your stuff and force you to heal those things. So they're going to put you on that journey. So that's how I see it, is just like, um, it's really just the beginning of your journey and the, the foundation of your journey. Um, you know, building— and, and I tried to do this, I tried to build my perfect career, um, on— in like the wrong career, and it didn't work for kind of obvious reasons. So like I was investing into that wrong career and I was making a lot of money, but it like kept kind of falling apart for me. Energetically. Like, it just kept like not being fulfilling for me. And it's kind of the same with a relationship. You can have, um, you could be with the wrong person and keep like pouring your energy into that relationship, and it just kind of keeps going sour. Um, so you, you need to get with the right person, you need to get the right career, but then that's still just the beginning. So I hope that's helpful. Um, You have to heal to turn your connection into what you desire. And so that's overall, you know, why I feel like you can't, you can't leave this journey because you, like, you're still gonna have to do this work. Um, so do you know, if you no longer believe in twin souls, um, here's, here's what I think. Even if you no longer believe in twin souls, you still want what twin souls had to offer you. And, um, in a person or in a marriage. So there's currently something in your vibration that's not attracting that, and you have to decide to uncover it and make new choices either way. Like, whether you call it the twin soul journey or not, you, you know, you have to look at what's happening in the 3D and see and acknowledge the truth, at least, that you're trying to attract something and it's not working. So So you have to decide to uncover that. How are you going to uncover that? It's really only through healing work. Um, trying to achieve what you want through 3D means is going to be controlling, so it's unlikely to work. You have to have the healing behind it. The healing is the inner journey to the 3D outer journey, and the healing that you need is going to be exactly the same whether you call it the twin soul journey or not. So even if you're just like, I don't, I don't care, I just want like my soulmate in the marriage, it's like you would have to do the same exact work. So why not just do it for your twin soul?
