In this video Monica Grace of cardreadingqueen.com unboxes the Star Child Tarot (Akashic Large Edition) by Danielle Noel, a deck she had been anticipating for years. She describes the gift packaging, the booklet’s guide for lightworkers—including unique element naming (Crystals for Pentacles), reverse meanings, and extra interpretive material—while noting she typically skips such instructions. Monica highlights the deck’s artwork, pointing out the Fool is called the Starseed and praising the distinctive, sparkly style. She measures the cards, noting they are larger than standard tarot cards (approximately 3.5" x 4.75"), with a solid cardstock (estimated 350 GSM), matte finish, and good shuffle feel, though the new cards stick slightly together. Throughout, she expresses enthusiasm and recommends the deck, providing purchase information in the description.

Hey there, sovereigns! Monica Grace from cardreadingqueen.com. I wanted to do a quick unboxing. So this is the Star Child Tarot, and, um, I wanted to unbox this because it's actually one that I've been waiting on for a couple years at this point, and I finally got it for the holiday season as a gift, and I'm really excited about it. So this is by Danielle Noel. She also did, um, the one with Rebecca Campbell called, uh, what is it called? Something maybe like Shine Your Light or something about light basically, which I also love that one and I own that one as well. So, uh, yeah, when I— this is the box that it came in originally. I've, you know, taken a piece, an index card, and just put it over the address. Um, so this came out, uh, thank you so much, enter for 10% off, so please don't use that because that is energetically not cool if you do because you didn't buy this. But yeah, if you end up buying the deck, then definitely make sure you use that. So I haven't opened this yet, but I think this box is just gorgeous. On the inside it says, "We are all stardust." Really pretty. The back, and I believe she indie published this, though I don't know, you know, I don't know actually much about this right now. So I'm looking at this right now, the— it says The Star Trail Tarot: A Lightworker's Guide. Got some really pretty black pages in here and then a couple You know, some intro stuff. I don't typically read this stuff because I just already know how I use the cards, so this is really good for if you are starting out or if you like to follow instructions. I typically don't. It does seem like it says the crystals, the earth element, so instead of— it seems like she's calling the Pentacles, the Crystals instead. They also have the Swords, the Cups, and the Wands, so all that is the same. All right, um, yeah, so I love this. This is the type of information I like. So I always look to see if there's a reverse meaning because I think that just is super important. I check to see that the message is longer and interesting, so I like that there's a good-sized message. And then I love that she has these extra, extra information. So I use this information to help myself learn more about tarot in general by learning other people's interpretations of it. So let's see what else. Okay, so all of this seems pretty standard, so you can look up the meaning. Really beautiful booklet. Let's get into the cards themselves. So right away, seeing that the Fool is named the Starseed, and of course, if you are familiar with Danielle Noel's work, she has just gorgeous, gorgeous images always. It's something really unique. You don't really see it a lot. I do, I have started to see some copycatting this type of style, but when she first started putting these out, she was pretty much the only one doing stuff like this. So we'll just look at a couple of cards. We won't look at all of them. Really beautiful. So seeing a couple more. Yeah, I mean, this is a gorgeous deck. As far as the— so I love this. So on the on the edge you can see that it's really sparkly, and then I also want to say that the cardstock on these is really solid. I would guess that these are maybe— they're certainly bigger than a traditional tarot deck, and by that I mean wider, so I'm guessing that these are somewhere maybe a little bit smaller than 3x5. It's hard to say. Actually, I'm just going to go get— I have a little thing over here. We will just get a measurement because I am curious. So we got 3.5 on one side and, um, about 4 points, you know, 4.75. So it's traditional on this side, but then it's just wider, which was kind of what I was thinking, um, it would be. So instead of 2.75, uh, which is the typical measurement in inches, we have 3.5 on one side. So let's see how it shuffles. So far, this is a really nice matte finish. So I like that. I like the card thickness. Guess it's hard to say. I mean, this is really, you know, it's probably about 350 GSM is my guess. Somewhere around there. So certainly more than $300, not to $400. Seems to be shuffling pretty well. Awesome. Okay, so this feels really good. So right now the cards are just sticking to each other slightly, but I think that's because It's a really new deck, so not a huge surprise there. Yeah, I love this deck. Really, really beautiful. Um, definitely really excited to work with it. So thank you for watching this video. If you want to get the Star Child Tarot, I have all the information in the description box below. So thanks for watching.
