Hey there, sovereigns! Monica Grace from cardreadingqueen.com here. Today's content is why you don't get to be right on the twin soul journey, and this is going to be another major insight that I learned for myself from my recent energy healing that I did with Kelly from The Purple Priestess. If you'd like to look her up. She does a twin flame Atlantean healing, and it's very cool. And I did it in mid-June. I had my session with her, and, you know, basically since then a lot of things have been shifting for me. And I was feeling very stagnant before that, so it has been very helpful to me. And I have been learning a lot about twin souls and my own twin soul journey, and so I wanted to capture all of that and share it all with you. So this is all about why you don't get, get to be right on the twin soul journey, and I'll give you an overview of what happened for me. So I talked about this in another episode of Your Twin Soul Journey, and you know, my videos for my YouTube channel, which is cardreadingqueen.com/youtube, and then for my podcast, which is called Your Twin Soul Journey, and it's available on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, Google Podcasts, basically any, any major space where you could download a podcast. So what happened, what happened to me is I had been experiencing a Facebook troll, and on the one hand, I do attract that because I am very clear about my opinions on Facebook, uh, just one of my profiles that I tend to post on, and I had attracted somebody who was not just in disagreement with me but was constantly insulting me on my profile as well, so he would comment almost every single post that I made, and then he would insult me and, uh, you know, trigger all the people that were my— that were my friends. And it was, yeah, it was just an unpleasant experience. So, uh, you know, I guess long story short is I knew that there was something I needed to heal there, that there was a reason I was attracting this person. There was something I needed to heal. A number of people asked me, why don't you just block him? Or why don't you do this? And in truth, the reason I didn't block him is because a couple years ago I had a different Facebook troll that had a very similar energy to this guy. And this more recent guy is uh, he, he has a stronger energy, but this person before had a really similar energy as well. And so I did eventually unfriend that guy, and the reason was because I had just had enough. Like, I was tired of it. And so in this situation, I did question, like, am I gonna have to unfriend him, or am I gonna have to block him? And what I decided was that I wanted to heal it permanently rather than push away the problem and just attract another person to show me and to reveal to me what was going on in the future. So, um, I, I did, and, uh, it ended up in a kind of blowout argument, uh, not on my post but actually on his post at some point. And as we were arguing, I really began to see his humanity and I saw the person behind the argument, and he was getting like quite emotional. And I could, I could see that he, you know, for a long time— and a number of people told me, because we have a lot of mutual friends, a lot of people told me that this guy was just a troll and he was just trolling me and I didn't have to put up with it, and like, why don't you unfriend him, why don't you block him, blah blah blah. But What I learned from conversing with him over months and months was that he actually has these strong beliefs, and we weren't really that different of people. Like, we've just— we've fallen on different sides of an argument, whether it be like a political argument in some cases. There were also lots of things that we agreed on And there were, there were a number of things that he was teaching me. So he was showing me a different viewpoint that was making sense to me and that I didn't have a lot of exposure to because I, you know, I, I don't— I just don't attract people like that. Like, they tend to, they tend to unfriend me if they disagree with me. So he was, he was, um, I have a lot of appreciation for him as a person because he was really hanging with my posts even though I use strong language and I have strong opinions. And then I was able to hang with his posts too. So we were, we were able to have a real conversation about things. And it's not to say that we changed each other's minds, but it was It felt very good to have those conversations. So the bottom line is that we eventually got to a place of peace. And during this time that he was trolling me, I kept choosing peace. And so choosing peace for me looked like either ignoring his comment or maybe responding to him but not throwing insults back at him, that sort of thing. And so I kept choosing peace, and he kept— he, he kind of started softening, but he was still not showing me peace, um, basically. And so then, uh, I decided to show him war at one point. And so I started— I, um, I was on his Facebook post, like he had posted something, and I was arguing with him, and we were at war. And, you know, I, I kind of jokingly insulted him, saying, you know, nicer than he ever insulted me, I guess. It wasn't a personal attack, but, um, I— when I did that, I really, I really, uh, I was triggering him, and he was getting emotional, and I really got to the core of, like, you know, he was somebody who was tired of being told he was a bad person for his opinions. And so he had been called, you know, he had been called racist, he had been called, um, a misogynist, he had been called all sorts of stuff. And he did not feel— and I think he's, I think he's correct in this— he, like, I don't, I don't think this person was racist or misogynist, so He, uh, he, you know, there was a lot of deep pain there around being misunderstood and being villainized for having a different opinion and being in a different space than others, and also just not being heard. There was that sense as well. He wasn't being heard. So as I, I tried both ways, I tried to choose peace with him, I tried to choose war with him, And in do— in choosing war really just once with him, we came around to a space of peace. And I don't even know how, but it was basically like, like I, I chose war, I felt how it felt, and I thought it would feel better than it did. It felt very bad to me. And at that point, I knew through contrast that I never needed to choose war with this person again. Like, I only I only desired peace. So it was like, um, it was like I was choosing peace for a while in my actions but not fully in my energy. And then I chose war, and it was, it was a choice, and I just wanted to experience it. And ultimately then I was able to, to fully choose peace because, um because I could— I, I had already felt that war felt bad. So at my core, I chose peace with this person, and because it was so deep in my core, he really had no choice but to respond with peace. And so I knew that that cycle would be healed when, um, when he stopped commenting on my post, and that has happened now. So he doesn't comment on my stuff anymore. And the biggest reason is if he were to comment, then there would be nothing— I would offer him nothing but peace. So there's no real opening to have an argument with me anymore with him. Like, like, I would never, I would never argue with him. I— the only thing I would do is either ignore him or validate what he was saying, listen to him, and like be at peace with him. That's the only thing I can offer him now. And so, um, that— it was basically, um, you know, it was, it was a small situation where I felt very right, um, in arguing with him but being right didn't really feel good to me. And so it was— it was, um, and I had to— I had to leave that conversation and I had to allow people to continue. Like, like all his commenters were piling on me and probably insulting me, but I left the conversation and didn't— didn't revisit it, didn't look back. And so I had to swallow my pride to do that. So I had to choose peace over pride, and that has been a huge challenge that I've had my whole life because I like to be right about things. So, you know, in his case, I felt I was right. I was the one making the rational argument, and he was making a very emotional argument, but it didn't matter. And so, what— so I was— I had experienced that and then later that evening, I was kind of reflecting on what had happened during the day and I heard this voice in my head that was basically like, "You don't get to be right." when it comes to what God wants for you. And this struck me pretty hard, um, because it was— because I was kind of like, well, what is— what is this teaching me? And God was like, you don't get to be right with God. Like, you— like, you don't get to choose, um, to argue with God was kind of the message. And so I thought about what this was about, and it, it was immediately obvious to me. Um, I have been in an argument with God for a very long time over a past relationship, and I know I've, um, I've been talking about— I feel like I've been talking about this relationship a lot, um, with an ex from like my high school and college years. And I think the reason I've been talking about it is because I've just been healing through it a lot So with that situation, and he, he kind of just broke my heart. With that situation, I was very angry for a long time at God. When we broke up, it was a— it was kind of like one of those inflection moments where I lost faith in God. And so it wasn't It wasn't like the full abandonment of God, which I did later, which is a different moment that I can share with at some point. Not, not in this content because it's going to get too long. But it was, it was a, it was an inflection moment where I really lost faith in God. And what was going on there is I was just angry that I had loved this person and it didn't work out. And I had trusted God the whole way with this person, like every step of this relationship I was trusting God, and only to have it not work out and to break my heart for what I felt was no reason. I didn't feel like I should have that pain really, because it was, it was very hard to get over as well. And even, even like into my adult years, like, like years and years later, like I was still not able to really understand why that relationship even had to happen. And so I remember just arguing with God like so much in my mind for years and years and years, like, why did we even— why, like, why did you lead me to that? Why did we date? Like, I was doing fine without this person. I was happy without this person. I was going off to college without this person. So like, why bring them into my life? There was nothing of value really that came from the relationship. Um, like there was no— like we weren't friends afterwards. I couldn't think of any major lessons I had learned. In contrast with my ex-husband, like, I had learned a lot with him, um, and it— like, it was a situation where it wasn't— it wasn't a great relationship, but that relationship felt very complete, and I felt like I had taken away so much and grown so much from it. But this relationship, I was just like, I just don't understand the purpose of it. I didn't understand just like what, what it was meant to do for me. Like, it— and I was like, I could have just not had it and been fine. And there were many points in the relationship where I could have said no. And I think another part of it is that from the beginning of the relationship, I thought it was doomed, basically. Um, and the reason why is because we, we started dating, like, even though, like, we had known each other for 5 years Basically since the day that I moved to the area that we lived in, I knew this person and I knew like he was in my classes and I knew who he was. I don't think he knew I knew who he was, but like I, I like saw him, noticed him fairly immediately, knew who he was. I'm really good at like names and faces, so I just knew who he was even though we hadn't spoken. And I, like, I noticed him, like, everywhere he was because I could— I just have a good memory of that type of thing. So we started dating, even though we had known each other for a long time, we didn't really connect until, like, a couple weeks before we graduated high school. Um, and so we started dating for— and it was, it was a, it was a bad idea. Like, I, I knew it was. So we started dating, um, end of like the last week of high school. Literally the last week. I'm not, I'm not exaggerating that. It was like the last— it was the last week of high school. And then we kind of said like, okay, it's just like we're gonna part ways when we go to college. And we were going to college in different states like 8-hour drive apart. Um, and so then we got to the end of the summer and we didn't break up even though we were intending to. And so then even after college, it wasn't like, okay, we have 4 years of college and now, you know, and then we can make it work. It wasn't even that. It was like then he was going to the military, um, for like, I think it's like 8 years. Afterwards. And I, I had, um, a lot of experience in the military because I have two parents who were in the military, and we lived overseas, you know, the majority of my childhood. I lived overseas, um, moving every couple years. And so I already knew, you know, I already knew that was gonna be, you know, not exactly— it wasn't like I I, I wouldn't have not been with him because of that, but it was not like my ideal life because I knew that it was going to hamper my ability to have a career, which didn't turn out to be the case because my career is like completely, um, you know, remote work. Like I have no need to go into an office or like work with a team or anything, so It actually turned out to be like, if I had known that at the time, it wouldn't have been an issue. But at the time I thought like, oh, you have to go into a job, so you can't do that at a lot of bases because they're typically in the middle of nowhere. So you can't really work at like a cool place, basically. You typically have to go to a big city for that. So that was my thinking around that, um, and I'm getting way off track. So anyway, I had a lot of regret over even just like entering that relationship, continuing that relationship, continuing that relationship for as long as we had, because I was— I had always intended to go to college and find myself, and then I went to college and I had a boyfriend from a different state. And so there was no way to like explore who I was, um, at a deeper level because I couldn't like date anyone. I didn't really want to date anyone, but it's like, like my whole plan was like messed up from that, um, and it just like all took me by surprise and was kind of against what my ideas were for what my life was going to be. I'm sure that's very common for a college student though. But, um, you know, I had this massive regret over the relationship and I kept arguing, arguing with God and just being like, man, if I could just go back in time, I would have not, you know, not dated him, not kissed him. Like, you know, I just would have not gone down that path. And eventually I realized like 'Well, you're never going to be able to go back in time, so why do you keep thinking about this? Like, why do you keep trying to barter or bargain around it? Because it's not possible.' Because I was, you know, for a long time it was like, 'Man, if God could just grant me this, like if he could just erase this person from my life and from my history, like everything would be okay.' And it was like a bargaining, um, which didn't make— it was illogical. Like, it's like you're never going to be able to go back and erase this person. Um, so I guess what I'm describing is just massive regret. Uh, and I, I would even say to God— I mean, these were all conversations with God specifically— I would even say stuff like, you know, there was no like, like, this is cruel. There was no sense in giving me this much pain because the exchange was like nothing. Like, like, yeah, we, you know, because with this ex, like, yeah, we maybe had some good moments, or— but like, we were at different schools for so much, it was kind of like we'd never really even had a relationship almost, um, as how it felt. It's like we didn't, we didn't ever explore a relationship because we lived in different places, and it was like fairly surface because it couldn't go deeper. Um, it— and we, you know, by the end of the relationship, which was junior year, it's like we got to a point where, um, like we, we had like roommates, like both of us had roommates, we were at different schools, and like We were trying to visit each other on weekends, um, but it— that wasn't working because we both had stuff to do on weekends. So it's like we actually just needed to like go to the same school and live together. Like, that was like— it just got to a point where it was like there's literally no point to this relationship because we really have no time to see each other even anymore. Um, and there's no way— like, we're like living separate lives. There's no way to like go anywhere with it. And it just, it just hit that point. So I just felt a lot of regret, and I was just arguing with God for a very long time. And God was like, you don't get to be right about this. And it was funny to me because up until then, I almost felt like I was winning the argument.— and I think, I think God's point there was there's really no sense in regretting something because even if you think that it had no purpose or you think that's not how your life should unfold, should have unfolded, it, it's, it was your perfect path. Like, this is the path that I chose for you. This is the path that we co-created together and this is— this was your path whether you like it or not, was kind of the energy of it. So I realized that what this Facebook troll was showing me was that I, I can't be right anymore. Like, it was like, like he was showing me this very toxic relationship I was having with him, but it was just a reflection of my relationship with God. Like, I was doing and acting the same way toward God that I was acting toward this Facebook troll. So, uh, yeah, it was like— it was just saying like, look, your life was perfect for you. It— like, it's perfect for you. It's gotten you to this exact point, and it's the— it's the life that you chose. Um, so I wanna— I'm gonna consult my notes because I feel like I'm pretty off track. So basically, the things to take away from this: God is always right. So that's number one. Um, and I think I've explained that pretty well. Your twin soul is always right. This one's a little bit trickier, but if God is always right, then your twin soul has to always be right because it— your twin soul is just a physical manifestation of your relationship with God. So if, if I was doing this to God, I was also doing this to my twin soul. And, um, I have definitely seen that for myself, um, with not just my twin soul, but with all my relationships, of just needing, needing to be right and watching it destroy those relationships or chip away at the love in those relationships. Uh, and to take that deeper, it's really that it's not just that your twin soul is right, it's that you are not in conflict with your twin soul. The conflict is the illusion. And so when I was dealing with my Facebook troll, I noticed that where it's like, it was like we're really not in conflict. Um, even just even having different opinions about something or approaching things in a different way, we're not really in conflict. So like I was very, um, I was very in agreement with a lot of the stuff around the Black Lives Matter movement and he was he was not anti-Black Lives Matter. He— it was like he had— he just had some issues with some of it. But what I realized was that I was supporting anti-racism and he was as well. Like, he did not— he did not agree with racism, uh, and I could see that in like everything he was doing, that he did not agree with racism. So it was like, it was showing me like we really aren't in disagreement even though we fall, or seemingly fall, on two different sides of this very important and core issue to humanity right now. But like, we're— and it was just like this realization that we're, we're not really separate. Um, What else? Um, so you're not in disagreement with your twin soul. You're not in disagreement with anyone. The disagreement is an illusion, always. And it's something that you can— if, if you're in a situation that seems like conflict, um, you know, look at it as if you are not in disagreement with the person, no matter what, and just see what that shows you. Um, because any— like, your desire to be in disagreement with someone is a desire to be right about something. Like, that's really all it is. Um, and that means that you are doing the same with God, and that's going to be fairly toxic. Um, it's going to be a fairly toxic relationship that you're having with God or your higher power. So when I say God, it can be your higher power the universe, spirit, source, your creator, any, any, any word you want to use or any phrase you want to use for your relationship with, um, your higher power, life, life itself. What I realized in taking this deeper for myself was that I wanted to become a reflection of God and God's peace. So what this means for me is to look at people and to understand, does this person desire peace at the core, or does this person desire conflict? And if they, if they desire conflict, I desire to not engage, not engage in any way. And this is really what God does. So God does not— he does not engage with anything that's fear-based, including conflict, or like trying to be right. That's a very fear-based thing because you feel like being right is going to create security for you somehow, um, security and safety for you, which it doesn't. Or, or even control, control for you as well, um, justice. So, so it all goes back to wounding. So, um, yeah, like, God doesn't engage with being right because all the times that I was arguing with him, he never— it never convinced him to do anything. Like, he didn't send me back in time and he didn't take away my heartbreak. Um, so it was all like— he wasn't able to engage with me on the level of me trying to be right with him. Um, so I, I want to do the same for others. It's like, if you're trying to be right, or if you're trying to have a conflict with me or with anyone, you know, what God would do is he would just not engage. So what I should do is I should just not engage. Um, I have— I want to continue to just continue to choose peace at my own core, even if those around me are choosing conflict. And I believe, and I have seen, that when you are truly choosing peace, that anyone who is choosing conflict is going to vibrate out of your reality very quickly because there's nothing— they can't, they can't take any energy from you. There, there's nothing they can— there's nothing they can hook into because you're not willing to— you're not willing to, um, meet them at their level. So those people vibrate out. And, um, choosing really only to engage with people, including my twin soul, only engage with them from a place of peace. And so peace The other thing is that peace is what attracts your twin soul. So if you want your twin soul, you need to be at peace in general, in, um, at peace with yourself, and you also need to be at peace with God. And so that was another thing I saw, was that I can't attract my twin soul when I'm at war with God over, um, regrets from the past or anything like that. And this one was a big regret. And so the healing for me, I feel, I feel like it was just realizing that this is, this is my path, that this did serve a purpose even if I wasn't able to see it at the time, or even if I felt that it wasn't worth it. It still served a purpose. For me. And it's the same with this. It's really the same with the Facebook troll. It's like, well, what was the purpose of us arguing? Um, because nobody really changed anybody's mind. But it's like, well, we both grew as people. Um, and you know, it, it wasn't, it wasn't like my choice to heal in that way. It was God's choice. And God's choice was perfect for me. Um, so that is, that is what I've learned about being right on the twin soul journey. And I encourage you, because I have done this myself, to look at, you know, your twin soul, and really anyone. And really, the thing to search for is any regrets that you've had, or any places where you felt like this was an unnecessary experience and I wish I had done this instead, or if I had just done this, then it would be— then this would have turned out a certain way. So any regrets you're feeling, that is your desire to be right with God. And it's insanity to try to be right with God. Like, it's absolute insanity when you think about it, because you're not right with God. Like, that's the problem is you're not right. Only God is right. God is right and he has the answers, and you are meant to— you are meant to, um, you are meant to trust him. Like, it's, it's, it's a lesson in faith and in trust. You are meant to trust God and the things that he is showing you and revealing to you on this journey, including anything he is showing you or revealing to you about your twin soul. So I hope this was helpful to you, and I hope it made sense, as maybe it didn't. But if, if not, you can check out my— I have a, um, a video that is an update on, uh, my Atlantean healing. So definitely check that out, and I think it's, um I don't, I don't remember the title. Something like 3 Ways You Can Understand the Energy of Your Twin Soul Union, something like that. And then it says Atlantean Healing Update, plus an Atlantean healing update. And I think it was, if you're watching or listening in chronological order, I think it was probably 3 or 4 episodes ago. So something somewhere around there, and it will give you a little bit more context for some of this because I wanted to kind of breeze over it, and I don't think I saved much time by doing so. So that's all for me. Thank you so much for watching and listening, and I hope that you have a beautiful and blessed day.
