A short YouTube clip (creator: Nadav Benedek) offering quick advice about balancing networking and doing actual work. The speaker warns that attending events every night can prevent you from producing the work that earns respect, and stresses finding a balance—especially when running an agency or startup where there is always work to do.
But it's like, I could be out every night meeting a bunch of influential people and, like, never make anything. And they, like, not respect you, right? Because not doing the work to actually become influential. So, like, I think it's really important, like, find a balance of, like, yeah, go to, like, event week. Because if you just go to every single night, you have no time to actually work on stuff like that you try to work on, right? But also, like, you also just always have. Especially when you're, like, trying to do an agency or a startup, you always have work to do, and you're never, like, gonna have no work.
