A short YouTube monologue (Nadav Benedek) arguing that being young and lacking visible skills is actually a major advantage: it grants freedom to experiment, low expectations from others, and the ability to try things without stigma. The speaker encourages embracing the lack of skills as a gift that lets you explore what interests you.
Your biggest advantage is your disadvantage. Most people think that if you're young, if no one knows you, if you have no skills, you're actually a huge disadvantage. In fact, you're completely wrong. You're honestly at the biggest advantage you can have when. When you're 15 or when you're 18, when you're 20. In anything, you're usually people assume that you suck at everything you do. No one has ever seen someone similar to you. No skills is a huge advantage. I'm not even joking. But you can literally do whatever you want. That is the greatest gift that you have. The greatest gift that you have is that if you have no skills, you can say, this is interesting.
