This is a YouTube video titled "40 million people without a country" created in August 2025. It features a monologue by a single speaker discussing the plight of the Kurdish people, highlighting their culture, values, and struggles for recognition and a homeland across several Middle Eastern countries.
This is the largest homeless people in the world. 40 million of them with no country. Even after trying for a hundred years, we ask for nothing more than to have our place. These people have their own language, music and culture, but no one would give them a country. So they live between Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran. And unlike everyone else, they value women. They put them in charge even in war. They value debate and democracy. They argue, disagree and vote. And they're tolerant. And even after they defeated isis, they didn't get a country. We should all know about the 40 million Kurdish people in the world. We are Kurdish because they deserve more than our silence. That's one minute. See you tomorrow.
