Israel's Ministry of Water saved the Sea of Galilee by pumping desalinated Mediterranean seawater through massive pipelines across the country. The system delivers 15,000 cubic meters of fresh water per hour, and within six months rivers, fish, and birds have returned to the historic lake.
This is the only place in the world where ocean water is going to save a lake. The lake where Jesus walked on water. We found it. This is it. This is crazy. You've never heard this story on social media before. This is the incredible story of the Sea of Galilee. The Sea of Galilee in Israel is one of the most important places for Christians, but also for locals. This lake provides provides water, nature, and fun for millions of people. But then the rain was not enough. The lake started shrinking. The water dropped lower and lower until the danger zone. This used to be water and now it's dry. Dry. So the Ministry of Water had a crazy idea. What if we use ocean water to save the lake? Crazy idea, but It's possible. They took salty water from the ocean, built desalination plants, removed the salt, and turned it into drinking water, just like lake water. Then they built giant pipes from the ocean all the way across the forests and the valleys until here. Out of nowhere, the water emerges. 1,000 cubic meters of water every hour. Hour are sent here, and sometimes they send 15,000 cubic meters of water per hour. This was salty ocean water a few days ago. Now it's fresh water going to save the lake. This is the first time in the history of Earth where humans saved a lake with ocean water, and the process started just 6 months ago. Now slowly the rivers are back to life. Fish, plants, birds, and soon the water levels will rise up and everything here will be full of water again. Where Jesus walked on water will continue to live forever.
