This guy invested $10 million in my company, NAS.com. I did. Who is he and why did he invest? This is Vinod Khosla, one of the best investors in Silicon Valley. He is the founder of Khosla Ventures, a $15 billion venture capital firm, and was the first to invest in OpenAI, Square, and DoorDash. And I am proud to announce that Khosla Ventures led our $27 million funding round for NAS.com.
I've invested a lot of money, but $10 million is not a lot of money to invest if you can create 100 million entrepreneurs. These micro entrepreneurs are going to be the dominant form of employment. Every single person listening to this can be in their own business.
Vinod believes in our mission. We're building the simplest business platform using AI. Think of it like AI Shopify, but with marketing. All it takes to start your online business is just a picture. From a picture, NAS creates your online store and all the marketing content you need. High-quality videos and images. And with just one click, NAS markets your product to the world. Instagram, Facebook, and soon TikTok and Google. And it helps you accept payments globally.
AR will affect almost everything. So the only thing getting in the way is you not getting started. So just go do it.
In one year, we went from $1 million ARR to $8 million ARR and helped tens of thousands of people start their first online business. Khosla Ventures are not the only investors. The co-founder of DoorDash, Stanley, and his wife Gloria. We invested. Erika Kohlberg and Jordan Matter, dear friends and massive content creators.
I invested. I invested.
Tim Ferriss, the author of The 4-Hour Workweek. My friend Scott, the CEO of Houlihan Loki, also doubled down and invested. The founder of Base44 also invested. I invested. And many others like Factorial Capital and iAngels. I am thankful to all of them. Our responsibility is to help you start your business and work for yourself.
Why would anyone want to work for a boss when they can work for themselves?
And this is what we will spend the next 10 years building. Thank you so much. Great.
