Hi guys, what's up? It's Natalie. Welcome to, or welcome back to, my YouTube channel. If you are new, my name is Natalie Barnes. I am a 26-year-old realtor in North Florida. I specialize in new construction, but I also do resales. We're at one of my listings today. I'm doing an open house 10 to 12, but I wanted to do a quick video on how I plan for the upcoming month, my goals, what I accomplished in July, and also what I want to accomplish in August. I'm going to show you guys how I kind of organize everything, how I plan my content, and what is going on in the month of August. So if you guys are new, don't forget to give me a thumbs up and subscribe to my YouTube channel. I'm also on Instagram and also TikTok. I try and film every single day, whether it is on Instagram or TikTok, so definitely go follow me on there. But yeah, basically my channel is all about real estate. I have a 3-year-old daughter and we love Misty. So yeah, subscribe if you guys want, and let's get into it. Also, there is a smoke alarm out in this house and it's beeping, so if you guys hear that, ignore it. I might be able to edit it out, but if not, you will hear it. Okay, something I use every single day is my iPad. I have iPadā I have the iPad Pro, the bigger one, and my husband got me theā what is this? This like iPad case. Yeah, I kind of broke it right there, but this is my holy grail when I don't want to bring my computer every single day to work. If I go into the brokerage, I definitely have my iPad. This is also really good for showing because I can pull up the listing really, really fast and then just bring it so I don't have to carry any paper. And then I can also send all my emails and everything from this. My iPad is with me 24/7, um, because being a realtor, you don't have time off and you don't know when you are going to have work. So it's nice, easy, very thin. I also have the iPad Pencil with it, but I also have my planner. I am battling a little bit of a cold, so bear with me if I sound a little weird. But what I use for my planner is GoodNotes. Um, I will leave down below where I got my exact planner from because this keeps me organized, keeps me focused, and I absolutely love it. Okay, so I like to keep my iPad extremely minimalistic for for the most part. The two big apps that I use is Notion and also GoodNotes. GoodNotes, it says 2025 Life Planner, so if you click on that, this is my planner. Um, I plan everything from open houses to new construction walkthroughs. This is just an easy place I can go look at my overview of, of the month and see what I have going on. What I really like about this is I have an Apple Pencil, and what I like to do is type everything on here. So if I wanted to do an open house, let's just say on the 2nd of August, I can just put open house 807 Scrub Oak, and boom, it's nice, it's clean, it's easy to read, and I can move it around. Now if you see those green little dots, that's actually for me because I have a 3-year-old daughter and my husband's schedule is kind of crazy since he's a cop. So I know that the green dots mean he is off, and if I wanted to plan an open house, I know right off the bat that's his schedule. And if I need child care, I can call my mom. So what I use to do that is a little highlighting tool at the top. Um, you can choose a bunch of different colors. As you guys can see, I choose a different color every single month. But the nice thing about this is you can really customize it as you want. Say you're like, oh, you know, I like to see the week day by day, you can just click on W3-2 right there and then it'll bring you a week calendar. Now there are options you can use to customize it, and, uh, this is just the format I like the most, makes sense to me. And then if you scroll, it has little prompts. So like, last week in an overview, uh, what was the highlight, the big win, rescheduled, in progress, personal, work life, family, home. And then just a dump of where you can put all your information on what's on your mind, any ideas you have. I don't really use this page as much as I probably should, but I love how customizable this planner is for that reason. If you look at my July planner, you can do like little stickers. My Juneā I mean, every month is different. What I really, really like is I can be as organized as I want to be, or if not, I choose not to. So like I said, my overview is really for me. Normally I put my bills, my open houses, when my mom is coming up, anything I have going on during the week. To know, hey, I'm working today, this is what I gotta do. So yeah, you can do drawing stuff. Like, if I wanted to, I could go like this. Oops. But I don't like that, so I never use it. There's a pencilā there's a pencil you can use, uh, an eraser, a highlighter, tape. So if you don't want anyone looking at your stuff, you can just tape over it. I don't use that. Uh, so you have a lasso tool. I can put a whole entire video of the person who actually made this planner because it is just amazing. I have all my stickers, so, you know, due dates, days I get paid. I can put pictures in if I want to. I can do my text. You can do so much with this, which is really, really nice. And then the second app that I use a lot is the Notion app. The Notion I normally do on my computer computer, but this is basically my CRM. What, what I have on here are just my listings that I have. You have a daily planner you could use, or you can do a to-do list or a travel planner. This is for people that are extremely, extremely Type A and like to be like as organized as possible. Me, I typically just like to use my GoodNotes for every day, um, but this is my CRM. So I might buy your CRM. I'm not to show you everything. I can do goals for 2025, my notes, my listings, my transactions. Just an easy way for me to just get everything for my business into one spot, easy to look at. My brokerage does have a CRM that I choose not to use, um, because for me it's a little bit confusing. So those are my two apps I use every single day for the most part. And then I also use my notes on my iPad and also my phone. That has helped me a lot to be organized. I like how everything is connected to my computer as well, so whatever's on my computer I can see easy on my iPad as well, or on my phone obviously, because everything is Apple. Okay, so let's talk about July, what I accomplished, what I wish I would have accomplished, and we'll go from there. So in the month of July, I had one sale. I had zero listings. Um, new listings. So really, really happy about that sale. The sale actually was really cool because it was my first ever house that I got to list, and it wasn't even on the market for 30 days. It sold, I think, within 28 days, which is really nice. So that was a win for me. I wish I got more listings, but that's okay. Another cool thing I got to do was I opened up a business account for my business in real estate, whichā big girl things! I think that's really cool. So I now have a business account, uh, at my bank. So let's talk about goals for August. My biggest one is I definitely want to do anotherā oh, wait a minute, I made two I made 2 sales in July, so I did 1 new construction and then I also did 1 for my listing. So I'll scratch that. I actually did 2 now that I'm thinking about it. I did 2 sales in the month of July, 0 listings. So, so let's talk about goals for this month. My goal for this month, I want to at least sell 1 house. Setting the bar low. I want to sell one house and get two more listings. I want to at least do three open houses this month in August, no matter where it is. I don't care if it is a, uh, house that I have listed or someone else's open house. I just want to be out there, meet new people, talk to as many people as I want. And I like open houses because you get the opportunity to do that, uh, you get new clients and you just get to talk to people. It's better than sitting at home and working work from home. I think I want to be consistent on social media. I've been doing really, really good on Instagram for the most part. Uh, I like to do reels on Instagram just so I can reach a bigger, broader scale of audience. And I also want to focus primarily on new construction. I have so many friends in the new construction business in real estate, and I like toā at least I try to connect with them at least once a week. I go tour their models, get social media contact, just follow up to see if they have anyone needing a home to sell that they're working with. Another thing I want to continue doing is weekly emails for my clients. The biggest thing with realtors, I think a lot of realtors fail to do, is follow up. Follow up is so extremely important, and I feel like if you are not top of mind, you will not get the sale or you will not connect with as many people. So that's something I'm really trying to work on. Personal goals for myself, um, I need to be more organized. So I have an open house today. When I got up, I slept through two of my alarms, which this never happens, guys, this never happens. I'm always on time, but I slept through both of my alarms and I had this open house at 10 and I was leaving my house at 9:10 and I made myself a coffee, you know, I thought I was going to be on time and then I realized as I'm loading I don't have my open house signs. Nowhere to be found. They're at my mom's beach house in Ormond Beach, which is about 30 minutes away from my house. And I also forgot a chair. This house has no furniture. So I had to drive all the way to my mom's house, pick up my signs, pick up a chair, and then get my butt all the way over to South Daytona, which is another 30-minute drive. And I showed up about 15 minutes late, which I absolutely hate, but it is what it is. At least I'm here. I need to be way more organized and focused in August, and that is a personal goal of mine. Another thing I want to accomplish is cleaning out my closet and Arabella's closet. We have so many clothes that we just don't use, and I feel bad. Like, there's so many kids needing clothes, needing toys, and that's something I really want to try and organize is The stuff that we don't need, don't use, get rid of it. I also want to try and figure out a workspace in my house. Right now we are in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, and the little desk I have is super, super small. I have a huge iMac and there's just not enough room for me to work, which drives me up the wall. Um, but it also gets me out of the house, so it's a win-lose-hate battle. I need to maybe come up with a space that I can like and like spread out all of my stuff, cuz I do have a lot of things. Um, that's something I want to work on this month. For my mom life goals, I want to try and get Arabella to play more outside. It is so hot in Florida, and I bought her this splash pad that she can play with outside and jump in and cool off and stuff, but it's just so annoying to set up, and I feel bad cuz I know she loves it, and I'm just being lazy and I'm like, oh, I don't want to deal with it, then I gotta bring her in, dry her off. But it's her childhood. I need to do more things outside, like going to a park, doing the splash pad, doing the little pool outside. So I really want to get better at that. And then another top priority I want to do is organize Arabella's playroom. So at our house she has her own room, and then right across from her room she has another room. That's all of her toys. She spends a lot of time in this room, so I want to organize it as best as possible and also get rid of the toys we don't play with. She has so many little McDonald's play toys that she does not even like use, so why do we have them? So I really want to organize that room, organize her space, and just make it as clean as possible. And lastly, like I said, I'm recircling back to my work life goals. Um, with the emails, I'm trying to do at least once a week to everyone, just like a broad scale of, you know, events for the month, what's trending on the MLS, rates that are dropping or going up, things like that. So that is basically all I have for my 2025 August plan with me. Sorry, this is all over the place. I'm going to try and get better, but I think the biggest takeaway that I'm trying to accomplish is at least one sale for the month of August and get at least two listings. Anyways, guys, if you like this type of video, let me know. I love, love, love watching plan with me, especially for the beginning of the month. I am trying to stay consistent on YouTube as best as I can, um, But yeah, that is my complete and total August plan with me. Those are the apps I use, the technology I use just to make my job and life a little more easy. If you guys have any questions, let me know. I'm going to leave the link for my GoodNotes planner and also my Notion that I have down below. And yeah, if you guys have any questions or looking to buy or sell a house in Florida, let me know. All my information is in the down box below, and I will see you guys next week. Bye, guys!
