ChatGPT Controls My Day as a Realtor Mom — Will AI Keep Me on Track?

Good morning, you guys. So I woke up a little bit early, but today I am letting AI/ChatGPT control my day as a realtor. I'm a little scared. I'm a little scared. I do rely a lot on ChatGPT. I love ChatGPT, and I actually named mine Zoe, so she is my personal assistant. Yeah, so here's the deal. I let Zoe plan my whole entire day. I have an inspection today. I have— today's a big day. Like, it's not like I'm not doing anything. Today's a big day, and, uh, she has planned everything down to the minute for me. So this schedule— you guys can't even see it— that's like the little schedule she gave me. So I'm excited, we have a lot planned. It's currently 8:49. What is it that we have planned? I'm supposed to be doing quick emails or prep before drop-off, so I'm making my tea. I normally have hot coffee— or I normally have cold coffee every single morning, but I want tea right now, so I'm making that. And then I have to get Arabella up, second day of school. So 9:15/9:30 we have to go drop her off, so I have a little bit of time I'm gonna look at some emails, get my day started, and yeah, Zoe, I hope to God you make me productive today. It's currently 9:07. I'm about to go wake up Arabella. I wanted to do what I normally do every single morning. I normally do this the night before, but I take my planner and I just dump whatever I need to do for for the day in my planner so I know like this is what I need to be doing even though ChatGPT is doing it for me today. So yeah, I'm gonna go wake up my daughter, finish my nice hot cup of tea, and get in the car to bring her to school. What do you have in your mouth, lady? Are you allowed to have Arabella's shoe? No, ma'am. Give me it, lady. That is not good girls. No, no, no. I'm also not only dealing with a 3-year-old, I'm dealing with a 1-year-old puppy who does not care about anything and loves Arabella's shoes and underwear. So weird. Good girl. I think I'm also— what is this one hair doing? I think I'm also going to make some coffee just in case for the ride to school. Um, so let's go make that. Hey, Natalie Barnes, I need your feet over here. Still tired? What time did you come in my room? You were asleep. What time did you wake up?

And then probably you go pee. It is a lizard, huh? Is it real?

Yeah, it's real. It was real, huh? Currently 9:33. ChatGPT has me going to Ormond because I have my inspection over there today. But also, I think ChatGPT thinks I need a coffee, which I do. I have one right here. So I'm just gonna find a nice little coffee shop and work from there today until my inspection.

I just broke my glasses. Thank God I had these, but I cracked them. So it is 10:54. We are hopping on a Zoom call in about 5 minutes. I'm having ChatGPT make me an email template for— I, I just want to do like a reminder, I guess, for people that I've worked with or people that I've talked to saying, hey guys, I'm still a realtor. Um, if you need any help with anything, listing listings, or, you know, listing your home, or buying a new home, let me know. So this is like the not fun part of real estate because it's just like a lot of admin work. To me, it's kind of fun because I like following up with people, but I can see when it's not very fun. We have my coffee, and so far we are right on track So let's go over— I'm on my iPad right now. Okay, so after this we have the Zoom at 11, so I'm gonna join from Barnes Noble like it told me to, and, um, I'll show you guys a little snippet of my pre-construction meeting. This is one of my favorite meetings to have, especially with Miranda, because it gets the buyers very excited on what's about to come. And then at 12:15, I need to literally pack my stuff up and head to my car and go to the inspection, see what we find. Kind of nervous, kind of not nervous, but should be a fun day. Just finished the pre-con meeting and I— it is 11:40. According to ChatGPT, at 12:15 I gotta leave. I actually might leave around 12 just to get to the property a little early, take some videos for my client, and then see what he says, and then wait in my car for them. But yeah, so far it's good. Actually, I think I'm gonna go to TJ Maxx really fast and see if I can find Arabella a dress for this week. Um, we have a special event coming up and I have to make a return at Marshalls slash HomeGoods is where I bought her original dress from. So let me see, does ChatGPT have that? Let me see. Yeah, so at 2 o'clock I need to drive and return it. So let's go to TJ Maxx now and see what they have. Nothing I'm seeing or liking at all. I'm at the property.

I'm gonna go in, start turning on all the lights, and take a couple videos, some social media content, some for my clients.

Let's do the inspection.

Here's my house I have under contract. We're waiting for the inspector.

Pro tip: always have a chair in your car as a realtor because I feel like this is going to be a long inspection, and thankfully there's nothing in this house, which is a good thing. Bad thing is I would not have had a chair if I didn't bring one. So, and I'm wearing heels today, so thankfully I did bring this. Okay, so let's check ChatGPT and see if we are on time. Currently it is 12:18, and right now I am I'm supposed to be driving to my property now for the inspection. We'll see what we find. I'm already at the inspect— the house right now, so I just did a quick video of everything regarding the property, sent it to my client, and, uh, he wants to show his family and stuff, so he's very, very excited. I also took a couple pictures for social media, so I got that done. Um, So now we have 12:30 to 2 home inspection. I already did a walk around. In real estate, one of the most important things to do is always, always, always do an inspection on the house no matter what. Even if it's completely new inside, always, always, always do an inspection. Normally the buyers would pay for it and You don't have to do it, but it's always a good thing to know what exactly needs to either be replaced or fixed or whatever the issues are regarding your new home. So we, uh, had this scheduled for today. In the contract it said we had 7 days and I wanted to get this in as soon as possible. So today is Tuesday and this was the first day they were able to do it, so I took my chance, got it. So next we have a couple documents that need to be sent in on our end and on the seller's end as well, and then we have the appraisal. So I'm hoping, hoping, hoping we can close by September 8th, um, or sooner. I know everyone, including the sellers, are eager about this deal, which is a good thing. If you're a realtor, I think it's so important to realize that you, the buyer's agent, or if you're the seller's agent, you have to work hand in hand. I'm a new real estate agent and I still don't know everything. And this realtor on this deal, the selling, the listing agent, she is amazing. When I tell you the most patient person I think I've ever met or worked with, she's just amazing. And that's so good for me because this is one of my first transactions in general real estate. Anxiety, to have a nice listing agent who is extremely positive, who's willing to work with me on this deal and think of this as like a team, just really, really helps out and calms my anxiety as well. So yeah, we have this until 2, and then I have to go to Port Orange. I gotta return Arabella's dress. I did not find one thing in TJ Maxx. Um, I walked all that way for nothing, but that's okay. So I'm going to go there after, and, uh, then we gotta go ahead and get Arabella. So this is a really big, uh, day for me with work, at least, because I had 2 meetings. Um, and yeah, right now what I'm going to focus on is some social media stuff. I'm filming this right now, and then I also want to send a quick reminder email to all my clients that I've met over the past couple months and just check in to see what they're thinking, what they're doing, what's the next move. So yeah, everything is lining up, so let's pray this inspection goes good, and I will update you guys soon. Inspection went amazing. They just finished up. It is 2:10, so we're falling a little bit behind from ChadGBT's schedule, but I'm going to go ahead to Port Orange, return my daughter's dress, and, and then I gotta come back to get my daughter from school. Okay, so it is almost 3 o'clock. Zoe literally had me— my ChatGPT girl had me go all the way to Port Orange to return my daughter's dress. I was literally in and out within 10 minutes, which is a record for me. It's like Crazy Betty wants to get some money, but, um, this was only a $2 difference, so I really don't care. But this is my daughter's little dress. I think the other one was way cuter, but they don't have her size, so this is what we're stuck with. And at this point, I really don't even care. But now that it's 3:00, I'm going to head back to Palm Coast to go pick up my daughter because that is the last thing I need to do that ChatGPT is telling me to do. But yeah, let's go pick her up and then we'll see and go over the whole day, um, from start to end to make sure I am on track for everything and see if it actually worked too. So yeah, let's go pick her up. It's a little while later, I'm home with Arabella.

I'm editing this video. Overall, do I think AI/ChatGPT changed my life? Yes and no. I think I'm just a very productive person. I'm also very organized. Um, a lot of realtors now, I think, are pretty lazy. I like to stay busy, and I like to be as productive as possible, even if that means just follow-ups or scheduling things on the same day to make sure I feel accomplished. Yeah, I I liked how today went. I don't think I would be using this every single day to plan out my day. Um, like I showed in the beginning of the video, every single morning or sometimes at night, I will literally write down every single thing I need to get done for that day. So once I get something done, I just scratch it off. You hear a lady in the background. And, uh, that's normally how I do my day. I don't really like time blocking. I feel like if I am late for something, I get anxiety. And that's kind of how I felt today. If I was 15 minutes late, I felt like I had anxiety. If I was 15 minutes early, I was like, oh no, I'm not on time. So all in all, I think today went great. Am I gonna use this again? Probably not. Just not really my style or how I like to control my day. But yeah, that is my honest opinion about ChatGPT slash AI. Running my whole day. Thank God for watching.
