Clean the Nursery with me | Natalie Nicole

Natalie Barnes reorganizes her 1-month-old daughter Arabella's nursery, moving diapers and formula supplies within arm's reach and creating designated bins for outgrown clothes. She displays favorite books on a small shelf and keeps a water bottle by the sterilizer for quick access during night feeds.

Hi guys, what's up? It's Natalie. Welcome to, or welcome back to, my YouTube channel. Say hi guys! In today's video, we are doing a clean with me. We have to clean the whole entire nursery. Definitely a disaster, but we're gonna fix that today. I kind of want to change some stuff around because a lot of the stuff that we have that we use every single day is kind of put away. So yeah, I definitely want to change some things in her nursery. And if you're new to my channel, hi, my name is Natalie Barnes. This is Arabella. She's 1 month old, and we post twice a week. Well, we try to. And my mom's obsessed with me. And don't forget to hit that follow button down below if you guys have never seen my face and you like our videos. I need to stop rambling because we definitely need to clean, but let's just get on with it. See, I'm starting to fit into my 0-3 month outfits, huh? Okay, so I don't like this anymore. I feel like everything's cluttered. However, we use the wipes every single time we like change her, obviously the diapers, and then we have the formula. Like I said, we use the Formula Maker all the time just to heat the water though, because I guess it doesn't give enough formula. I think I might move this over there and then slide that over. I don't know, I want to redo all this and like actually put the stuff we use every single time right there. Okay, so what I put up here was obviously diapers that we use every single day, wipes. We have— but we have her brush, her nose sucking thing, lotion, these like vapor wipes, sunscreen, and then both of her gripe water, calming balm, this butt paste. We've used this like twice so far. She doesn't really get bad diaper rash. And then like the little things for her grape water. Like I said, I want to keep this super simple, super clean, so it's not like a complete and total disaster. I keep a water bottle right behind this flower pot thing, the bouquet right there, because this is her sterilizer and I need to put water in it every single time we use it. So it's easy if I just keep a water bottle right there so I don't have to like go back and forth. So I'm just gonna hide this behind Like that. This is everything she got from Easter, and I now have to find a home for all of this, but the Easter Bunny loves her. Funny thing is, I got a lot of books for her because I really want her to read a lot. Um, when she's like a little bit older and I want us to like read together. So, but they're all like tucked away in like those bins right there and I don't want that. I want them like on display because a lot of her books are really cute. So I think what I'm gonna do is change this stuff right here and put all books instead, then see if I like it. Okay, thoughts. What do we think? Do we like the little bookshelf case? I think I do because it's, it's a lot, but I, I feel like it's cute, right? I really like the top. I feel like the top is very, very cute. Yeah, it has like all the classic books: Goodnight Moon, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, I Will Always Love You. I mean, I, I don't know, I think this is really, really cute. Let me know. Okay, now I'm gonna tackle all the drawers, all of the PJs, onesies, all of that. I do have a question though, where should I put all of the stuff that doesn't fit her anymore, like all the newborn stuff? I don't want to throw it out because what if I have another girl, then I have to buy all new stuff all over again. I don't know where I'm going to put some stuff. Um, also her toys— she has so many toys. Um, her, her uncle and cousin got her this. She has so many like little toys in her crib, like little babies. I just— there's just so many. I don't know what to do with all of these. I think what I might do actually is put them in the bin right there where all of her wipes are, just so I have a bin, and then I'll move those somewhere. I'll figure it out. So I put all of her babies right in here. Her crib is completely empty now. I know babies shouldn't sleep with anything, but we had her babies right there. We had the Snuggle Me right there, and then we had the border right here, um, and then we would just take out stuff every single night. But now we don't have to do that. I also put the wipes in here because I felt like that would probably be the best. I'm gonna reorganize this because I feel like it's not very functional. We don't use shoes right now, and some of these are way too big for her to use. And that's a memory box. That's our baby shower book that everyone signed that I thought was really, really cute. Um, and then these are like little letters I need to start doing for her. I'm moving on to the drawers, and she doesn't really use hats. Like, this one's hats and bows. It says hats and bows right there. She doesn't really use hats. We put a bow on her every single day, and we also have so many bows that we started putting them in this. So I think what I'm gonna do is just do bows on the top layer of the hats because she doesn't really use them, but they're so cute. Okay, out of all of this These are the stuff that just don't fit her anymore. These pants, this gown— this was preemie, and then this was also preemie. Um, but I organized this a little bit better. She has a lot more stuff. I just need to do her laundry. I'm going to do that like right after this. But yeah, this is basically how it's looking. I put a lot of her long sleeve onesies right here just because she can sleep in them. I mean, there's nothing wrong with them. We live in Florida, so she's not gonna use them every single day. And then I think I've decided that I, I want to put her swimsuits in this little basket and then put this somewhere. I don't know yet, but I'm gonna look in here and see maybe what will fit her now. A lot of this is 3 to 6, 3 to 6. Obviously those aren't gonna fit her yet. Yeah, time to do laundry. I forgot she had this book from Easter, so don't know where I'm going to put it, but I'll find room. She's starting to wake up, so what I think I'm going to do is change this pad, get the new one in, and then kind of end the video because I need to hurry before she wakes up. Okay, done with everything basically. I'm going to show you guys what I changed. So we got this all clean, her laundry. I probably should have thrown this in when I was doing her laundry, but that's okay. Organized all of this, organized this. We changed up this, starting to do books. She's only 1 month, but I feel like we should start kind of soon. Her babies down there. We changed this up completely, added some stuff, taken away some stuff. I added the blanket there because at night I get really cold and I feel like a blanket is needed. Yeah, this I still don't know what to do with, but I think it's just gonna stay there. Cleaned Tink's bedding for her room. I need to throw this in the wash. I think that's probably my next thing I'm gonna have to do is definitely put this in the wash. And then her crib is nice and clean. Car seat stays there, diaper bag stays there, and that's it. Anyways guys, that is it for today's video. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe, and I'll see you guys in my next video. Bye guys!
