Creating a Playroom for my 9 month old | Natalie Nicole

In this vlog, Natalie Nicole walks viewers through a day of tidying and reorganizing her home to make a functional play area for her 9‑month‑old daughter Arabella. She begins by assessing the clutter in the living room and Arabella’s bedroom, then moves Christmas decorations, toys, and a car seat into the closet to free up floor space. Natalie arranges a small play zone using a cube storage unit, a rocking chair, and assorted baskets, sorting toys by type and frequency of use. She also cleans the kitchen, vacuums the floors, and deals with household tasks like dropping off packages at UPS and handling a last‑minute change to a lunch plan with her mom. Throughout, she mentions a Furbo pet camera, a Disney‑themed candle, and her upcoming New Year’s Disney trip, showing how she balances parenting, home management, and personal excitement. The video ends with a quick tour of the finished play area, a brief vacuuming session, and a preview of photos she plans to hang in the master bedroom.

Hi guys, what's up? It's Natalie. Welcome to— welcome back to my YouTube channel. So in today's video, we are going to be cleaning the house, kind of. I don't know if you guys can see this, that's all Arabella's stuff, and I don't like how it is in the living room. I feel like she's literally taking up the whole entire living room, so we're gonna make a little tiny play area in her room today. So let's do that. So this is what we're working with. So this is all of her stuff. We just took down our tree yesterday, or last night. It was Christmas. Hey girlfriend! Hi baby! That's her new car. She loves it. And then this is obviously her room. The plan is to move this into the closet. This is like all of her Christmas stuff and then her old car seat. But yeah, I think it'd be a lot better if I just moved everything in here. And then I also have to organize in there. I do want like one or two toys out here, so I think what I'm going to do is keep like probably that out here. Just a lot of stuff and like a little space. In a little space. I also have to hang this up. That I want to put right here because we don't have anything right here. And then I also have to clean the kitchen. We got lots to do, girl. Lots and lots of things. Okay, Tank's in the kitchen. We have the baby gate up, but we also got like a Furbo. It's like a camera that dispenses toys— not toys, treats. It's right there. It's pretty cool. I don't love it there, but It will have to do. I also need to vacuum because there's like a lot of tree bits right there. I also have to go to UPS, drop off a couple things, and I'm also getting lunch with my mom today. I'm off of work and yeah, so I'm excited. That was strange. So my mom just called me and said we're not doing lunch, which is fine. Uh, she wants to get on the road and yeah. But I did just hang up the like little sign over there. How cute! Does this fit in the space? Hopefully it does. I like it there. Cute, cute, cute. Do you want to say hi? Hi guys! Say hi! Say I'm wearing my PJs still and they have doggies on them. Well, a fox, but we call them doggies. Don't touch the trash. Look how bad the kitchen is. Like, how do I live like this? Honestly, I don't get it. Okay, this is one of the gifts I got yesterday, but if you've ever been to Disney and you walked into the Grand Floridian Hotel, this is the smell of the hotel, and I'm literally obsessed with it. Um, this is the candle company, I guess, that they use. Lush scent. I don't know, we got it in Disney and it smells amazing. Okay, let's tackle this. I think I'm gonna do Arabella's room now and then do like the living room, like vacuum and stuff, because if I move everything now, then I can like vacuum over there, you know what I mean? We're also going to Disney for New Year's, so that's gonna be lots of fun. I'm very excited. But yeah, I'm gonna have to pack for that. Arabella's like talking to Miss Rachel. Um, so anyways, that was off track. I still have to pack for her. But what I want to do now is kind of like clean this area up, make everything fit inside, and yeah. Okay, so I think what I want to do is move this cube into her closet. My plan is to move this one into her closet, fill this with toys, obviously, take this one, move that one right there in my closet, and then put my shoes in that one, and then set up these. I have to do her laundry like really, really badly, so don't mind that. And that car seat is not her car seat, someone else's. But I think what I want to do is put these over here to like make like a play area. I would love to get rid of that rocking chair, but we kind of do use that in the morning and at night, so I don't think that's like a good idea. Once I move that over here, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. Okay, so far I hate this, but I like the crib there, so I don't think that's the problem. I think it's a stupid chair. I know it's funny. So I need to figure out where I can put it without it being like awkward. Um, I just don't know because I want this to go right there. In the middle, and then I'll just decide where that chair goes. Coming along though! Strangely enough, I actually like how this is. I just— You like it? I think she does. I just don't know if I want this like against this wall and then have this like pushed up so she can like sit on it. Um, let's try that. Okay, this is what we have so far. She's loving it in here. Um, it does kind of bother me that that's like this. I might move that over so it looks like it's like all one. But now I'm gonna fill like right there, I'm gonna move that over. I'm gonna fill this up with all of her like stuffed animals because she has like a lot of them. Yeah, I think she really likes it in here so far. You want to say hi? Hi guys! Hi! Hi! I'm getting somewhere. My camera's about to die though, so I'm gonna have to hurry up. But basically I did her toys. I only have 4 boxes this size, so what I did— you think that's funny? What I did was I put the toys that she really plays with on the bottom, like these. Oh, and these, these are more like books. And then up here I have like carriers, and then this is kind of like a random box, and then her two like grab toys. So yeah, what do you think? Oh, that's Mommy's phone. Let me go charge my camera. Okay, so I moved this rocking chair in front of the door because I don't have anywhere to put it. And we kind of do use it. We don't use that door at all. This is kind of how her play area is looking. Next thing I want to do is organize this chair. This is like a lot of her new stuff from us, and then in this bag over there is kind of like what all of her grandparents and her aunt got her. I did just do that too. Hi, guys! And yeah, I put these baskets in here, so these kind of just have like her shoes, her stuff I can't get rid of, like her— my favorite outfits that she has. And this is kind of like random old books. Next bag. Okay, I just finished her room. This is what it looks like. Like I said, this needs to be moved, obviously. Um, that's her hamper, her baby bag. That's what she's wearing tomorrow. But yeah, I think she likes it. I'm gonna go and and vacuum up the floor. I still— me and Sam have to do this. It's really cute. It's like handprints, I guess. And you frame it. So, you wanna do this tonight maybe? Yeah? Okay. I really wish this chair wasn't in here, but right now it's just gonna have to do. Huh? Oh well, it's okay. Okay, let's vacuum. Okay, I'm gonna vacuum the floor now. Um, I still have to move the cube into our room. These photos, I'm gonna print some out and then do those in our room as well. So we packed up the Christmas tree. We have all these like green little fuzzy things, so I'm gonna clean those up right now. She's watching Miss Rachel, her favorite show. Okay, so this is her room play area. Her crib, her dresser stayed the same. That little pink thing's not staying there. I'm trying to teach her how to hold her own bottle. Yeah, you got it, you got it. Good girl. Yay, good girl, baby. Yay, good girl. And then our room, I added these photos. I've actually just printed some, um, and I have to go get them. So there's 6 on this wall, 3 right here. Yeah, anyways guys, thank you guys so much for watching. I'll see see you guys in my next video. Bye, guys!
