Hi guys, what's up? It's Sally. Welcome to, or welcome back to, my YouTube channel. I am a realtor in North Florida. My specialty is new construction, and oh my goodness, I am so tired. So today, so in the last video I showed you guys, um, the new community by Taylor Morrison Colbert Landing, super cute community. If you don't already follow me on TikTok and Instagram, I will leave them in the down box below so you guys can see. I do post on Instagram every single day. Um, TikTok, I'm trying to like find a balance of like my personal life and then also real estate. But also, I'm filming this on a Friday and Justin Bieber released his new album today, so there have been a couple TikToks Justin Bieber because we love him so much. So, but I just got home a little while ago. I already ate lunch. I wasn't planning on filming today, but I wanted to kind of catch you guys up because it's an exciting day. I got an offer on my listing. This listing, I worked my butt off. There has been so many little things with this listing, and I had to take it down for a little bit, and then we re-uploaded it back on the MLS, and like This is like a baby. This little listing of mine is like a little baby to me. So I am now representing not only the sellers, but now I'm also representing the buyer. So I am a new agent, and my specialty, like I said, is new construction because I have worked with the builder for a little over— or a little under 2 years. So I'm not familiar with being a buyer's agent and a seller's agent at the same time. And I came to the conclusion I think I preferred listing homes, being a listing agent, because oh my goodness guys, the amount of paperwork it is to like put in an offer. And my buyers are out of state, so it's a lot, it's a lot, and it's a lot of learning. And I have the worst anxiety when it comes to not being able to do something fully by myself. I'm the type of person, I like to do everything by myself and have the knowledge and be confident in it. And I just feel like general real estate, I, I'm not so familiar like I thought I would be with all the contracts, with just everything. So I second-guessed myself quite a bit. I went into my brokerage today after dropping off Arabella at school so I could have some help with this offer. So now I have to present it to my sellers, and I hope they take it. If we're gonna have to counter. Like, taking myself and my own personal opinion out of the equation is pretty easy. Um, it's just negotiating in terms of it has to make sense for everyone or this deal is just not able to proceed. I struggle with really bad anxiety, and I have all my life. And this month I've tried something different. So I've tried actually taking my Bible. We go to church almost every Sunday— not every Sunday, but we say prayers every single night— and Aribelle and Sam, but I thought it would be really nice to take moments out of my day to just read a little bit of the Bible, take a verse, and then write about it in a prompt. And that has helped a lot of my anxiety because, um, being able to just think about something, write it out, and just get signs from God— I really believe in signs— has really helped me, especially this week. Week. Like, for instance, I woke up with the worst anxiety today, and my prompt— let me read you my prompt. The verse today was, because it's July 11th, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you," 1 Peter 5:7. And then the prompt says, "What's one thing you're worried about? What would it look like if you gave that to God?" So as I'm like writing all this, I'm like, I can breathe. Like it's just like a wave of like, I don't feel as anxious, and that's like the best feeling. But anyways, managing anxiety is extremely important to me. Yeah, and my little Diet Coke here. We have a couple things to do. It's about 3:30 now. I cleaned up the house for the most part. Arabella still has to do her playroom. Um, she's very independent, and like today she yelled at me because I was trying to help her put on her shoes. She's like, Mom, I I got this. So I'm trying my hardest to let her do her own thing and put away her own toys and just give her reminders so she does it and it's not all on me. But I cleaned her room, put all of her laundry away, did my laundry, made our bed, cleaned up in the living room, and did all of my dishes. So I've already had lunch. I had a nice little bowl with onions, rice, and chicken. Like my favorite. But now what I'm going to do is write an email with my offer. I tried calling my sellers and they did not answer, so what I'm gonna do is put everything in an email, see what they say. We're probably gonna counter and go from there. Happy Friday! I know you guys are watching this on Sunday. Happy Friday, guys! Feel like a shift is happening in real estate because this is My second deal that I've gotten an offer on. I have 4 listings, one's under contract, this one just got an offer. That leaves 2 of my other ones. My goal this month, if you didn't watch a couple videos back, I have goals for this month. I want to get at least 2 listings, 2 more listings, and I want to get 2, um, sales. So we'll see, God's plan. Let's write this email. Guys, I just sent it. I sent the offer. I'm like super excited. It's Friday too, so I don't know if they'll get back to me right away. Tried calling and no answer, so we will see. We will see. God's timing, God's plan. If this is going to happen, it's on his terms. That's all I keep thinking about. I just like want to do what's best for everyone. Oh my gosh. So real estate, anyone who says real estate is easy is a liar. Um, real estate is really hard, especially being new. Like I think it's such a stigma that people have that realtors, that they don't do anything and just post on social media and have a grand day and just sell homes and write up a contract. No, you have to know the lingo. You have to attend the classes. You have to do everything by the books or you could get sued. You can get sued over anything. And I'm not scared or anything. I'm just, I want to do everything the right way the first time and just call it a day. Like, that's, that's my biggest issue. I've been on multiple showings. I've been like, I take so much time and I make, I move around my personal plans to help people. And being a buyer's agent, I've realized I am not taking anyone anywhere if they don't have proof of funds or pre-approval. Like, that's what I need to start doing because I've had so many people be so interested, go to the bank to get a loan, and then, "No thanks." They're like, "Yeah, family emergency." The amount of family emergencies people have is concerning. Like, and I don't know if it's just an excuse or what, but it's crazy. We just literally I'm gonna stay positive, and this is the first offer, so if it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I just listed this house back on the market June 20th, and it's due July 11th, so we'll see. These people seem very interested, which is great, and they have two little kids. And, um, my sellers have— they built this new house with new— with a new builder and um, I actually built their house, which is really cool. So full circle moment. We will see, we will see. Also, I also wanted to give you guys an update. I actually— did I film it? So my clients that I did a couple days ago, the day in the life as a realtor in Florida, that video, those clients just went under contract with a builder, which is my old builder, Verona Homes, and they are building an amazing house in the new Seminole Palms neighborhood, and I'm so happy. And it's such a full circle moment where it's like, wow, not only did my buyers get such an amazing deal because we negotiated, but also a full circle moment for me because that was my builder, and I am very familiar with how they build and what they build and what you can do. It's like being now a realtor on this end, I don't really have to do anything um, other than keep getting updates from, uh, the sales agent, which I'm really good friends with. I'm so excited to be able to partner with her on this and work together again. So that was a really cool full circle moment. Um, I'm really, really happy for them. So I will be documenting that as well, their build, because I'm so I'm so excited, guys. I'm so excited. I love that community. Like, that is one community I'm like, so pretty and so nice. And there's so many different builders in that community, so I know when it's all finished and done, it's gonna be perfect. So Sam's actually not working tonight, so I think what we're gonna do is just a movie night here. Maybe he might play video games, I'm not really sure. This Saturday, which is tomorrow, we have a birthday party, so I probably won't film that. But we have a lot of things coming up. I know I talked to my mom about doing Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. That is coming up. I want to definitely go with Sam and Arabella. My mom did that with them to do that. So we'll see. I think I'm gonna end the video here. I don't know how much I filmed and if this is going to be a long enough video, but I'm very, very excited I got to offer it to my sellers. And we will see if they take it or if they want to counter. So yeah, anyways guys, thank you guys so much for watching. And if you guys have any questions or you're thinking about moving to North Florida or anywhere in Florida, please let me know and I would be more than happy to help you. Anyways guys, thank you so much for watching. I'll see you guys in my next video. Bye!
