First Ultrasound Appointment ( 12 weeks )| Natalie Nicole

Natalie Nicole shares her first ultrasound at 12 weeks after a canceled appointment forced her and boyfriend Sam to scramble for care in North Florida. She heard the baby's heartbeat, watched it somersault, and saw arms and legs for the first time. Gender isn't confirmed yet, but she has a gut feeling it might be a boy.

Hi, hi! Same as to poop. It's 10:40, we're on our way home. We're at this racetrack, it's like a gas station. Um, Sam has to go to the bathroom. We're like 2 hours away from our house. Yesterday we had our first doctor's appointment, it went super, super good. I'm so happy. If you guys didn't know, I'm pregnant and And I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I'm so happy. Like, so happy. Anyways, we had to go all the way down south for this appointment because— so if you guys are like new to my channel, I'm from South Florida but I moved like a year ago to North Florida. Um, and I was supposed to have my appointment there in North Florida and I was supposed to go at 10 weeks because they wouldn't take me before that. Anyways, it flopped. Flopped. I got to the— I got to the appointment at the OB-GYN up in North Florida, and they basically said go home because you don't have an appointment. And I was like, what do you mean? I do have an appointment. I made this when I was like 7 weeks pregnant, and you guys told me I couldn't come until 10 weeks. They literally canceled my appointment while I was there. And poor Sam, my boyfriend, he stayed because he works, um, for a natural disaster cleanup company which deals like hurricanes and like there's like a flood or something, he has to go to the state and like his company like cleans it up basically. So he stayed for this appointment and they cancelled. So he had to go all the way to Louisiana after that and there was no appointment. So I was like crying my eyeballs out because I was like, I need to be seen by a doctor. ASAP. I called every single OB-GYN in North Florida by me, like in my area. Every single one said they couldn't take me until the end of September, which would be way too late, and I needed to be seen. So I called my sister and my mom, and I was crying hysterically because I like did not know what to do. And thank God for my sister because she called her OB-GYN and she was like, my sister needs to be seen ASAP, Rocky. Thankfully they were able to see me yesterday. Yesterday, which was Tuesday, and I'm obsessed with our doctor. She's so nice, so chill. She like did all of it. She did the ultrasound. I'm gonna show you guys a little ultrasound because it is so cute, and I'm— see that? How cute! It's like the first ultrasound ever, and I'm gonna put the clip of what I got in the OB-GYN place of like her hearing like the heartbeat and like seeing the baby. But she was like so nice, and she was like, your baby's doing somersaults right now, because the baby kept on flipping. And then there's one point where the baby like actually looked directly at us, and then she zoomed in on the foot, and she's like, this is the foot. It was so amazing, and there's like nothing better than hearing the actual heartbeat of your baby. Like, I literally wish I could have that as my ringtone because it was so Like, I literally keep just replaying it and replaying it and replaying it because I can't get over like, that's actually inside me. How crazy. So I'm 11 weeks, 5 days? Around there. Around there. There's a baby. There's only one. Oh yay, there's only one. Oh. Can they tell you the gender or no? Yeah, can they tell you? No. No, but she, she was like, it kind of, but I'm not sure. Sometimes it's obvious. Was that the heartbeat? Yep. Your baby moving. That is so crazy. Got arms, legs. Oh, that is insane. That's your baby. Oh my God. Yay! All right, so I see arms and legs. Tank's freaking out because there's so many people walking by. We need to get back on the road because I need to pee, but I don't want to go to— I don't like going to the bathroom in public areas. I think I feel like it's like disgusting, but it's fine. But yeah, that's how the appointment went. I do have to come all the way back down to South Florida, um, on Monday because I have another appointment, and this one's another ultrasound, but it tests like the neck um, of the baby just to see if it has— if it's at risk for any, like, Down syndrome, heart, I think even blood. It's like a lot of, like, really, really, really, really big things that, um, we have to test for. So I'm very nervous for that appointment. I, I know everything's gonna go good. I'm hoping everything goes good. But yeah, it's just really, really stressful because I also have a job. Other than doing YouTube, I do, um, like nannying for a 1-year-old who has a respiratory issue. So I watch him literally every single day until 2. That's kind of why I don't film as much either. Yeah, I have to miss. And I checked and no other OB-GYN place could fit me in in time for this appointment. And you have to do it at 13 weeks. Like, I'm pretty sure she said 13 weeks was like the cutoff for this test, so we definitely need to do it. We do not know the sex of the baby. I personally really want a girl. I mean, I want like a healthy and happy baby, and Sam really wants a boy, but he's also like healthy and happy baby too. Yeah, I have a feeling though— I don't know what's on my face— I have a feeling it's gonna be a boy. I just like have a feeling. Gut feeling that it's just a boy, but it's fine either way. This baby, I feel like, is gonna be the cutest baby in the whole entire world. Not to brag or anything, but yeah, I haven't been really filming as much, and if you guys follow me on Instagram, I've kind of been like radioactive because I feel like— I'm not big big, but I feel big, and I feel like I lost all this weight before getting pregnant, and then I'm like gaining everything back. That's how it feels like. I mean, obviously you're gonna be big because you're growing a baby and stuff, but yeah, I, I don't— I didn't want anyone to really know until we knew it was like safe to mention. So how was your poo? Oh God. Wanna say hi? Say hi. Say hi. Hello. Anyways, that's basically what's going on. I told them what happened. Hi guys, so it's a couple days later. Um, I'm editing the video now. I'm literally the worst at editing videos, I swear. But yeah, we had our first appointment and it went so amazing, like you guys saw. We're so happy and we do not know the gender of the baby yet, but we are just so happy that we got to even see a doctor because that was really important to us. But yeah, I am 12 weeks pregnant. By the time you guys see this, I think I'll be probably 13 weeks because I'm editing this like 1 week ahead. So yeah, I feel— definitely feel pregnant. I also just had some Nutella toast. Not really eating the greatest at times, but it's okay, I'm eating. So, and thank you guys so much for watching the video today. And don't forget to go on my Instagram because I did post so many pictures of our like announcement photo shoot. There's Tank, by the way. So definitely go check that out, they're super cute, I think. And yeah, thank you guys so much for watching. We'll see you guys in our next video. Bye guys! There's no place I'd rather be than here with you. That's all I
