If I had to start my real estate career all over again today, the very first thing I'd do is sign up with Aceable Agent to get my Florida real estate license. It's honestly crazy to think how one decision like that completely changed the direction of my life. Good morning, you guys! I feel like over the past few years my life has changed so much. Between helping clients, filming YouTube videos, showing homes, creating content, getting married, having a baby, and trying to balance everything else, I don't always stop to appreciate how far I've actually come. I think we're all guilty of that, right? We're always thinking about the next goal, the next client, the next opportunity, the next thing we want to accomplish, and sometimes we forget where we started. This morning I found myself wondering, what if I had to completely start over again? No license, no brokerage, no clients, no social media, no YouTube, absolutely nothing. Just me, starting from scratch. What would I actually do? And honestly, I know exactly where I'd begin. I'd start with getting my Florida real estate license. When I got my license, I completed all my coursework online because that fit my schedule really well. Looking back, I know that's still the route I would take today. If I were to start completely over right now, I'd choose AceableAgent. One thing I really like is how flexible it is. Life doesn't stop just because you're studying for your license. Maybe you're working full-time, maybe you're raising kids like me, maybe you're trying to make a career change. Whatever your schedule looks like, being able to study when it works best for you makes such a difference. You're not trying to fit your life around a classroom, you're fitting your studying around your life, and honestly, I think that's one of the biggest advantages. Okay, so the first feature that really stood out to me is something called ACE Mode. I tend to overthink literally everything, blessing and a curse, but if I were studying for my license exam again today, I'd probably spend way too much time wondering Am I studying the right thing? Am I studying the right chapter? Should I be reviewing all this, or should I move on to something else, something more easy? That's why Ace Mode caught my attention. Instead of leaving you to figure out it all on your own, it helps personalize what you should be focusing on based on how you're doing. So if you're already mastering one topic, you can spend more time working on the areas where you need a little more practice. I honestly think that's such a smarter way to study because everyone learns completely different. And if I had something like that when I got my license, I know it would have helped me keep me focused instead of kind of like second-guessing myself, I would say. Another thing I noticed is that you can actually see your progress as you're working through the course. I don't know about you guys, but I love checking things off. I love a good to-do list. Seeing progress motivates me, honestly. Checking off something in my planner, crossing off a to-do list, or seeing that I'm getting closer to a goal, it keeps me going. I think having that visual reminder that you're making progress would make studying feel so much less overwhelming because instead of feeling like you're climbing this huge mountain, you can actually see yourself getting closer to the finish line one one lesson at a time. When you're working towards something as important as getting your real estate license, I think that little bit of motivation can go a long way. When I think back to when I first decided to become a realtor, I remember feeling super excited, but I also had a wave of anxiety. I think whenever you start something completely new, it's normal to wonder if you're making the right decision. I remember asking myself questions like, Am I going to pass the exam? What if no one hires me? What if I get my license and I have no idea what I'm doing? I think those are thoughts that almost every single person has, even if you don't say them out loud, like me. Looking back now, I wish I would have realized that nobody starts this career with all the answers. Every experienced realtor was once sitting exactly where you are today. They all had their first day. They all had their first client. They all had a first showing. And they all had moments where they questioned themselves. The difference is they kept going. People ask me all the time if becoming a realtor is worth it. And honestly, for me, the answer is yes. Not because it's easy, but because every day feels different. I'm not stuck at a 9 to 5 behind a desk. I love meeting new people. I love seeing different homes. I love helping people through one of the biggest moments of their lives. It's definitely not a career where you clock in at 9 and leave by 5. Some days are long. Some days— some deals don't work out. Some weeks are really busy. But I've learned so much about myself because of this career. It's pushed me outside of my comfort zone. It's helped me become more confident, and it's introduced me to so many incredible people that I never would have met otherwise. One thing nobody really tells you about becoming a Realtor® is that passing your license exam— exam— is really just the beginning. Once you have your license, the learning does not stop. You're constantly learning about contracts, new construction, financing, different neighborhoods, the market. You name it, you're learning it. And honestly, that's one of my favorite things about this career. There's always something new to learn. I think that's why I would've appreciated something like ACEmode if I were starting today. It's nice knowing you have something helping guide your studying from the very beginning, because once you're licensed, you're already learning so many new things. Starting with studying tools that's organized and personalized just give you one less thing to worry about. The more I looked through Ace Mode, the more I realized how much it fits the way I like to work. I'm someone who likes having a plan. I like checking things off. I like knowing exactly what I should be focusing on that day. That's one of my favorite things about Ace Mode. Instead of opening the course and wondering, "Where do I begin?" it helps you guide through your studying in a very organized way. I think that especially helps if you're balancing a busy schedule, because you don't wanna waste time trying to figure out what you should study. You just wanna sit down, start learning, and make progress. That's exactly how I'd use it. I'd probably go get Starbucks, come home, open my laptop, and log in every morning, check what Aceable recommends for the day, completing that section and then moving on with the rest of my work. Having that structure would help me stay consistent, and I think consistency is one of the biggest keys to reaching any goal. If I could give one piece of advice to anyone who's thinking about becoming a realtor, it would be this: don't wait until you feel completely ready. I don't think that day ever comes. You're always going to have questions. You're always going to feel a little nervous, but confidence doesn't come before you start. Confidence comes from taking the first step, learning, growing, and continuing to show up even on the days when you're doubting yourself. I think one thing people don't realize is that becoming a realtor isn't just about passing a test. It's really about deciding to bet on yourself. You're investing your time, you're investing your energy, you're investing in a completely new chapter of your life. And that can be scary. I know it was for me. Looking back, I don't think I really recognized how much this career would change me as a person. It taught me confidence. It taught me patience. It taught me how to communicate with people from all different backgrounds. It's taught me how to problem solve when things don't exactly go as planned. And honestly, those lessons have helped me in every aspect of my life, not just real estate. I think that's why I love real estate so much. Every single day is different. Like I said, one day you could be helping a first-time homebuyer. The next day you could be touring a new construction with boots and in the dirt. The next day you're negotiating a contract. And then you're celebrating a closing with a family that just got their keys to their new home. It's impossible to be bored because there's always something happening. That's something I honestly love. I don't think I could sit behind the same desk every day, doing the exact same thing over and over again. I like that every morning feels different, I get a little bit more freedom, every client has a different story, every house has a different story. And every day gives an opportunity to learn something new. If becoming a realtor is something you've been thinking about, I definitely recommend checking out Aceable Agent. I have a discount code for you guys that can save you guys some money, and I'll have everything linked in the down box below in the description. Whether you're just now starting to do your homework about real estate and what your life could look like, or you're ready to take the first step in getting your license, definitely check out Aceable if you want more information. It's honestly kind of emotional to think about how much my life has changed. If I'd never decided to become a realtor, I would have never been able to help so many incredible clients. I would have never been able to help families make new memories in their new home. I probably would not be continuing doing YouTube because, as you guys know, I love documenting my whole life on YouTube. So filming YouTube videos about real estate has definitely kept my channel alive. And honestly, I don't think I would've grown as a person as much as I have since starting real estate. And that's why I wanted to make this video, because if you're someone like me, you get really overwhelmed super easy. This process should not make you overwhelmed. If anything, it's pretty easy. And maybe this is a sign. Maybe if you're watching my video and you're like, I am thinking about doing real estate, this is definitely your sign. This is your little push. Just do it and just think every single successful realtor has started exactly where you are. They all had to take the first step. They all had to take a gamble on themselves and just bet it all. And maybe this is your sign to bet on yourself too. Anyways, guys, thank you guys so much for spending some time with me today. And thank you again, AceableAgent, for sponsoring this video.
