Hey guys, what's up? It's Natalie. Welcome to, or welcome back to, my YouTube channel. It's been a long time, I know. There's a lot of updates and I kind of wanted to do a July reset, my welcome back video, because I have not been filming. So ever. Life has been extremely crazy, but I'm trying to find a new normal where I can balance everything out. And life's been really crazy lately, and from my last video it has completely changed, um, which is a good thing. So in this video we're gonna do a July reset. What's been going on with work? What's been going on with Arabella, my 3-year-old daughter? She's now 3, which is so crazy. If I remember when I started this channel, I was pregnant and I went through my whole entire pregnancy vlogging, filming that. And then when she was born, you guys saw that too. So I wanted to do an update on her. I gotta clean my house a little bit. You guys can kind of see it's disgusting. Tonight's a solo night, so we're vlogging tonight. Arabella's playing in her playroom right now, which is a good thing. But one of the biggest changes that happened in the month of May was actually I decided to go into general real estate. I am no longer with a builder. That was an experience with the last builder I was with, and I thought, why not do general real estate? I decided to make some goals for myself for June to see what I can accomplish in a month, and I want to recap on that. And then also kind of like my schedule and how I balance everything with being a mom, going on trips, still being a regular real estate agent, and how I do it all. So in the month of June My biggest goal for myself was I wanted to list 3 homes. Technically it was 2 homes, and then I decided last minute I wanted to list 3 homes. So I did get 2 listings, which is really amazing, and then I also got another one at the end of the month. One huge thing for me that has helped in general real estate is doing open houses. I know a lot of people slash real estate agents don't believe in them, but it's a great way to pick up clients, get to know people, and get to know houses as well. Being Being a new construction agent has taught me so much about the process of home buying and building a house and really looking at a house from the, from the foundation up. And I'm so lucky I got that knowledge. I'm so lucky I got that knowledge early on in my real estate journey because I don't think I would have known anything about real estate honestly if I did not go to new construction at first. So I want to start kind of getting back into new construction because that is my specialty in real estate, is being a new construction real estate agent. I'm very familiar with all of the builders in Palm Coast, so I think maybe later on in the month, if I'm gonna do it this month or next month, I might pick out some communities and different builders in Palm Coast to show you guys and what they offer as well, just in case someone's thinking about moving to North Florida and maybe specifically Palm Coast. People, people can look at my videos and see if that is something that would fit their lifestyle and something that they want. My June goal complete. I killed it. I than I thought. So I have 3 listings right now. I'm gonna set the goal for 2 listings in July as well, but I want to at least sell 1 home. Praying, praying, praying I can sell one of my own homes, or if I meet a client and they want to look for something else, I can help them as well. That's my goal. So list 2 homes, sell 1 home. So let's talk about big things that have changed in the month of June. One of the biggest things that I did accomplish was I opened up my own business. I did a C Corp, which is crazy. I never thought in my life I would open up any type of business, but in real estate you get the option to do it, and I thought, why not? So yeah, I have my own business, guys. How crazy is that? Never thought I'd be able to say that. One of the houses I do have listed is my own personal house— well, Sam's house, um, 807 Scrub Oak. That is in South Daytona Beach. Um, I'm doing an open house there soon, so if anyone's interested, let me know. So the house that we're in, let's talk about it. So this is actually a rental house that we are currently in. It's a 3-bedroom, 2-bath. My lease is up in October. The reason why we did get this house was because the Scrub Oak house in South Daytona flooded and we needed a place to stay. So I thought since I was working in Palm Coast full-time— I absolutely love Palm Coast— why not move here and get a rental? Um, so that's what we did. My lease is up end of October. Our plan is to be able to sell Scrub Oak so we can purchase a brand new home, and I want to film that whole journey as well. So a lot of things that like were working in progress, slowly going. Like, you have to like work for it for it to like actually be done, I guess. I don't know, I don't really know what I'm saying, but it's like a lot of moving parts to get like the end goal. So with the house and everything, um, one kind of change— I, I mean, I wouldn't say huge change— is Sam's schedule. So Sam is a police officer and his schedules are 12 to 12. 12 hours he's on and then 12 hours he's off. Every single week kind of looks different. He has a busy week and then like a slow week, slower week. Um, so it's 2 days on, 2 days off, that makes sense for the week. Solo for the time being on our busy weeks, it's just me and Arabella. We do a lot, we go to the park, we got a nice splash pad, we got a huge bounce house. And this is one of the nights that we have our solo girls night. So normally we put on a movie, we clean up the house, we talk. She has an iPad, color. We have this preschool school book. Our lives are so much more slower, I would say, now that she's in school full-time. I'm working full-time and Sam's working as well. We did add a new member to our family. We have a puppy. Her name is Lady and she's so cute. She's kind of bad, but she's really cute. We still have Tank. Tank's laying right there next to me right now. It is 3 of us, 2 dogs, and, uh, there's never a dull moment in our house. Really the biggest change in our personal life, I Um, everything is a work in progress, especially with me being a general real estate agent. I feel like my hours are very more flexible, so I get to have more time with Arabella. We get to go to Disney more, we get to go visit my mom in South Florida a little bit more, which is so nice. My mom gets to come up here and I get to spend time with her as well. So I feel like going into general real estate, it was such a, oh my gosh, this is going to be so scary because I'm so used to having a routine, a schedule, set days off, and And even though I absolutely love new construction and I fully think everyone should buy a new construction home— not saying there's anything wrong with resales, I just think you're gonna get more for your buck with new construction— I feel like now I'm just so less stressed and I get to really be myself more and figure out what I still like to do. Because with new construction, your hours are so set, and even if it's a slow day, you still have to go to work, you know. Now, I mean, I do work like 24/7. Even when we're at Disney, I'm answering the phones, I'm doing emails, I'm putting in offers, I'm receiving offers, and it's a back and forth game. But I feel like I do have more of a— like, I'm more like my boss, I would say, obviously because I'm a real estate agent. But it's definitely different, which I really like. So I have to really have a set schedule for myself and be on time and be really, really productive, or else I slip into a 'I don't want to work' kind of mindset, and I don't like that. I would love to get back in the gym because that is something that helps with my anxiety I will say, switching from a builder to general real estate, I'm not as anxious and stressed out right now. Um, my anxiety is not through the roof as much anymore, which has helped me tremendously. I remember I'd literally have to go to the gym to run just to release my anxiety, and I'd get like to a point where I was making myself almost like sick because I, I just had so much anxiety. And if you don't struggle with anxiety, you have no idea what I'm talking about, but I have the type of anxiety that will physically like make me sick, and it's something that is so unenjoyable. And the only outlet I have is going to the gym, and obviously with a 3-year-old, it's hard to go to the gym every single time I have a really bad anxiety attack. Talking about the month of July and some things I know we are definitely doing, we are doing a huge Disney trip for my mom's 62nd, I believe, birthday in Disney. We're doing, uh, the treehouses in Disney, so I'm I'm super excited for that. I think I'm going to film, I'm not 100% sure. We are going to be doing a lot of Disney trips in October. We are doing a huge Disney cruise, me, my mom, Sam, Arabella, my sister and her daughter Kenzie. So 6 of us, should be really fun. I'm gonna be turning, I think, 27, and I'm gonna try and film that. I'm gonna— I'm trying to hold myself more accountable. I know I say that every single time I get back into videoing myself, but this time I'm serious. Um, and And yeah, so tonight since it's a solo girls night, I still have to make dinner. I want to clean up. I need to— I need to do my laundry. So that is what we're doing tonight. We're gonna do a movie. She might play on her iPad honestly so I can get some stuff done. She still has to take a tubby. She's calling for me right now in her playroom and we have to clean a playroom. So lots to do tonight. I wanted to really make this as a July reset and I know I'm jumping around, it's just because I'm so not used to filming anymore. I'm not organized. I even have like a little book what I was gonna say and I've Covered all of this somewhat. Let's start cleaning now.
Yeah, welcome back to my channel. What's your name?
Arabella Barnes. And how old are you? 2.
How old are you? 2. You're not 2.
How old are you?
Uh, 3.
3. Yep. And what's your mom's name? Mommy, but what's my real name?
Mommy Bullet.
Mommy Bolas. But what's my— what's my first name?
It's Natalie.
Yep. What's, um, whoa, what's Daddy's name? Sam. And what's on your lip?
My eczema.
Eczema, right. So this is Arabella's iPad. Sam got it for her on Amazon, and I really like it because everything is parent-controlled. There's absolutely nothing she can get on scary or bad to watch. Everything's monitored. Her favorite thing to watch is YouTube Kids, and even when she's watching YouTube Kids, she is watching what she should be watching. She also has games on this. You can go on the internet, but not on any bad website. And yeah, we don't allow her to go on the internet. She only really goes on YouTube Kids, and then there's Disney Plus on here too, which is really cool. Highly recommend if you have a 3-year-old. It is a game changer, especially when I need to clean the house. Are you sitting on the couch? You want iPad? We don't really allow her to do this much, but only when we have to clean the house and stuff. Hey babe, what do you say?
Thank you. Welcome.
I think my least favorite thing to do is laundry, and if I could hire someone, I literally would to do laundry, because I have no problem actually putting it in the washer and dryer. It's actually putting it away. I hate it.
So let's do that now.
7:20. Let's figure out some dinner. Arabella's already pulling stuff. What do you got? You got Cheez-Its? What are we doing for dinner? You want Cheez-Its? And what else? Chippies? Pringles? Are we doing any mac and cheese tonight?
Yeah.
Okay, please don't hang off that, please. Okay, let's do dinner then. Hey, what movie are we doing tonight?
What movie are we doing tonight? Okay, easiest mistake to make.
Is it Blippi? Watch Blippi. What about Miss Rachel? We did the splash pad today and I thought drying—
oh, it just got all over my foot—
on the grill, but not. It fell. I wish there was like an easier way to get the water out. I'm getting wet. I don't know if I got all the water out, but I really don't care at this point. Tonight's dinner, we got some strawberries, blackberries. You like the dinner?
Yeah.
Chippies, we got some Cheez-Its and mac and cheese. You got one happy little girl. What do you say?
Thank you.
Welcome. You got it. Yeah, I got it. I want you to focus on your strawberries and blackberries, okay? Okay. Do you need anything else? Yeah, I can put it away. Put your bowl in the sink. Got it.
Good girl. Yeah, good job!
How's your blueberry or blackberry?
Good. Good.
You want to do your preschool book? Oh, where'd you go? Do you want to do preschool Book?
Mom, look!
Oh my goodness, you are so silly. Let's do preschool book. Here goes.
Ah, where'd she go, guys?
Where is she? Amelia! Can I do this one? Let's do it together. So, Mommy, I'm gonna do you.
I know.
So we got this at Costco, and it's basically get ready for preschool. She knows a lot of this, but sometimes we do this at night just to make sure You know, it's getting her off the iPad and it's something educational, and it comes with flashcards, a pencil, ABCs right there, a little workbook, coloring stuff, the time, and tracing. So we like to do this not every night, but just some nights, and I like to let her pick out what we're doing. What do you want to do? You want to do the tracing?
No, I'm gonna do that one.
Okay, coloring and tracing. Tracing tonight. And then let's do workbook. You want to do this first? I think you can do it.
Go! Nope.
So it says trace the lines all the way to their food. So you got to get them to the food.
Good job!
1, 2, 3. I'll still sit next to you. What movie are we doing?
Turning Red.
I love him, guys. I love him.
I love him.
You're never not on, Bumbo.
Okay. Oh, bless you. Whoa, whoa, you okay?
What are we thinking for snacks? You want to go pick up? What? That is turning red. That's what we're watching?
Yeah, look, Mommy, look at her.
Yeah, you like this movie? Okay, let's watch it. I'm ending the vlog here. I want to go spend some time with Arabella and watch our movie for tonight. But thank you guys so much for watching and welcome back to the vlogs. Bye guys!
