MUST HAVE Newborn Items for First Time Moms | Natalie Nicole

Hi guys, what's up? It's Natalie. Welcome to, or welcome back to, my YouTube channel. Moo-moo! Hold on. So in today's video, I'm going to be showing you guys some must-have items that I have for Arabella, my baby girl. She's almost 1 month old, which is so so crazy to me. Like, I cannot even believe it. These are the items I have used religiously since I got home from the hospital and that I don't think I could live without. Okay, so the first thing I want to show you guys has literally been a godsend from heaven for me. Um, it's this boppy. We use this all the time when people come over to hold her. We put it around their waist so it's easy for them to hold her and more comfortable. Um, we also put her in this sometimes, like sitting up, and it's just amazing because sometimes she watches Hey Bear. And even though she— I don't know if she can see. I'm pretty sure she can see like a little bit, but she watches Hey Bear in this all the time and absolutely loves it. So 10 out of 10, would recommend. This is actually a cover, so you can get different covers on Amazon, and that's what I did. But yeah, a little boppy. The next item on my list is this diaper caddy. I normally keep this upstairs, um, just in case we're chilling upstairs and don't want to come all the way downstairs to her room. This is normally filled with wipes um, butt paste, thermometer, um, and some diapers. I need to refill this actually, but we use this all the time and I absolutely love it. It's so convenient. The next item on my list would have to— would have to be these on-the-go paci wipes. They look like this. Um, I got these at my baby shower and I'm so happy I did because babies drop. Pacifiers all the time from their mouth because they can't like hold it really in their mouth. And it's happened to us a couple times, and we'll be like out at a restaurant or like getting smoothies, and she just drops her paci, and there's no sink or anything. So these are really, really good. Next on my list is this Kylie Baby moisturizing lotion. I have all the Kylie Baby shampoo, conditioner. I think we have bath bubbles, and then it also came with this lotion. Her products are amazing. I'm not a huge fan of the Kardashians or anything, but all of Kylie Baby stuff is just amazing. We also have the towel, and the towel is even pretty good too, but there's no smell, but it smells like a newborn baby, if that makes sense. There's no smell, but— and I like how all of her stuff is very, very clean. I think that's really important for me and Sam is having really clean products for her, especially bath time stuff. So yeah, the lotion in particular though, I mean, next item on my list would have to be this. I call it like a dog bag, um, but it's for babies. You put this on your diaper bag or in your diaper bag. Whenever she has a dirty diaper or she pees herself or has a massive blowout, whatever, we— and it goes on her clothing. We take off her clothing and put one in the bag, and then we take the diaper and then put it in the other bag, um, just because I don't want a dirty diaper just like in my diaper bag. So these are amazing. We have all different color ones, and yeah, they're meant for babies. It says Refill Diaper Disposable Bags. So I'm pretty sure they make— I'm pretty sure this is for babies. I mean, it says it on the package. So this is 10 out of 10, definitely would recommend. I don't know what we would do without these. Next thing on my list is her Snuggle Me. This— it's crazy because she absolutely loves this. She naps in it even though she's not really supposed to. Um, I feel like whatever works works, and this definitely works for us. It's super easy to clean. I actually have to clean this again, but She loves this. And I know a lot of people are gonna be like, don't let your baby nap in that, don't let your baby, you know, this and that. Look, she's perfectly fine. She loves her Snuggle Me. I love a Snuggle Me, and it works for us. And I think that's so important as a parent is if it works for you, it works for you. And I feel like you shouldn't be telling other parents how to parent their children. Anyways, let's a little tangent, but that works for us, and I don't know where we would be without that because she loves it. I know you can also get the Dockatot. However, I felt like the Snuggle Me was a lot more functional for us, and it's easier to clean, so that's why we went with the Snuggle Me. And finally, the last product on my list would have to be this on-the-go formula holder. I got this off of Amazon, and I put this on my registry. It's from Amazon, fits perfectly in my diaper bag, and it just has formula. Like, I don't know if anyone can see, it has formula, and then it has a little scoop as well. So when you're on the go and your baby wants a bottle— bing bop, hello— you just make a bottle on the spot instead of, instead of carrying around that big huge thing of formula. Not my thing. I'd rather just have this and be done with the day. I do have 2 more items that I absolutely love. Um, like I said, I love all of these items because they're on my top list, but these 2 items in particular we use every single day, and I feel like it's a must-have need in your life, easy for first-time parents and all of that. So I'm gonna show you because it's up there and I can't really like move it. But okay, it looks like this. We have a water bottle right next to it to refill it. But so basically it is a— basically it's a sterilizer that you put all your bottles, pacifiers, anything you want to have super clean, you put it in here and then you press the button and it sterilizes everything. I'm the type of person that must have everything very, very, very clean. So for me, this was a really big deal that we got this because obviously if she's having a bottle every single day, I want to make sure those are the cleanest bottles ever. On the second floor of our house, it is— it has like the dishwasher now, and I know a lot of people use the dishwasher to clean their bottles, but when it's 4 AM, you don't want to go upstairs and, you know, lug all these bottles upstairs to clean. So it's really, really convenient to have that in her nursery just to wash them in the sink, clean them all out, and then put them in there. I feel like it's just such a blessing. And my last product of this video that is, that is a must-have for me would be my baby formula dispenser. This item has saved us so much time, so easy to use, and yeah, it's just amazing. I feel like, um, the only problem with this is we used it as soon as we got home from the hospital, and we noticed the nutritionist told us she wasn't gaining enough weight, which kind of stinks because it's like you spend all this money on Formula Maker and it doesn't really work the way it's supposed to. Um, but the good thing is it heats the bottle to the perfect temperature, and there's a setting that you can only do the water. So we switched to that. We normally just put the powder in the bottle and then let the water come out of the Formula Maker. Um, it's much easier than running upstairs to the microwave and heating up a bottle. So yeah, I think this is really worth it, honestly. And this is what it looks like. We actually have a bottle in there right now for when she eats, but it's on the perfect temperature of 102°F and it fills it up to 400— or 4 ounces, which is really nice. But yeah, we don't really use the powder in there anymore, so this is still a really, really good thing to have, I feel like. So 10 out of 10, would recommend.
