What a Florida Realtor ACTUALLY Does All Day

Hey guys, what's up? It's Natalie. Welcome to, or welcome back to, my YouTube channel. Today we are spending the day with me. We have a couple showings, we have a couple walkthroughs, and I'm super excited for you guys to come along. If you've never seen me, hi, my name is Natalie Barnes. I'm a local realtor in Palm Coast, Florida who specializes in new construction. I'm super excited to bring you guys along to this house that's under construction. I'm meeting the buyers there, so this should be fun. Anyways, guys, let's go. We still have to go to Starbucks, drop Arabella off at school, meet them at 10, and then do some other work. Let's go get my construction boots because today obviously we're at a construction site and I hate when dirt gets on my socks, so no heels today. Just regular work boots. And I normally get my work boots at Shein— on Shein, I guess you could say. I have them in white and I also have them in black. My white ones aren't that dirty. I thought they'd be like way dirtier, but they're not. But normally we're not this flustered in the morning. Not that I'm flustered, we're just running pretty late today. Okay, so I want to tell you guys what's been going on the past like few weeks. Hi guys! Ayre says hi. So currently we're heading to go drop her off at school, but last week was honestly so bad. I ruptured my eardrum somehow, some way, which means there's literally a hole in my eardrum. I woke up, couldn't hear a thing. Um, I'm severely allergic to gluten, so I don't know. And the night before I had pasta. I don't know if that's what triggered it or what. I've been putting in my like ear drops that help, and that got stuck in there, so it did not come out. So I called about 7 different doctors that specializes in ears. None of them can take me until September slash December, so I was like I need to be seen. I can't just like not hear, not hear in one ear. I like ChatGPT'd it because like I didn't know what to do and it literally told me to go to either the hospital or urgent care. So I went all the way down to urgent care. We have a brand new one in the S section, like Seminole Woods area. So I went there, so clean, so beautiful. The front desk lady was so nice and they took a look at my ear. Turns out I had an ear infection. And also a ruptured eardrum, so they put in a recommendation for an emergency referral for an ear doctor. So right now we're treating the ear infection for 7 days and then they need to take a look at my eardrum. So that was fun, and it didn't hurt, it was just more annoying that I couldn't hear anything. So, but it's getting better. I'm on antibiotics and it seems to be working, which is which is really good. I don't think I want Starbucks today. I think I want Eliano's. So it's 8:48 right now. Um, we're making really good timing. I don't know who's meeting us. I don't know if the sales rep— she's supposed to be meeting us. I just don't know if she is. Growing up, I used to play The Sims like every single day, and there's a new game out called Paralives, and it's basically every single thing that The Sims is not. And I'm like, oh, now I have adult money, like, I could get it. And so I bought it last night. I spent 2 hours playing it, and if you know me, I don't— like, I can't do anything for 2 hours other than like emails and stuff, or like editing a YouTube video. Like, this game is so fun. So I'm still trying to like learn it. I'm so used to like— I think it's muscle memory. Also Last week I went to the hair— my hair girl, she's no longer doing hair, which is really, really sad. Uh, so she referred me to a new girl who she went to school with, um, who's really, really good. But she basically evened out my bob. We went a little bit shorter, and then she did color. We went like a more blonde, ashy blonde, slash we rooted it. So I'm gonna see how this is. I like it so far. It's very freeing. I will say my bob does not go with every one of my outfits, which is really sad. That's okay. Anyways, let's drop off Arabella at school and let's go get a coffee. I just dropped Arabella off at school. Completely forgot I was supposed to bring her a blanket. Thank goodness I always have one in the back. I don't like this camera angle at all. Yeah, it's a little bit better. I always have one in the back, but on Friday Sam picked up Arabella, um, which normally I do. And every Friday they bring home their blanket to get washed, but they wash the sheets and everything there, so I forgot to bring a blanket. Thank goodness we always have one in the car cleaned. But let's go get some coffee. It's 9:03. We have about 57 minutes till we have our first appointment. First, and I think last, because I do have a phone call appointment appointment after, like in the afternoon-ish. So, but this is like the one thing that we're like doing outside, which I'm excited about. They're supposed to close at the end of the month too. So they were supposed to close on the 11th, but they didn't get CO, and then we are waiting on inspections for electrical, I think. Could be wrong. So now we're just waiting for the appraisal and final CO, and then we can move in and do closing. So this, um, builder— the name of the builder is Estella, and I think they originated out of Miami and now they're in Palm Coast. So I've never done— I mean, I've seen their houses and they're beautiful. I've never done any deals with them, so I'm super excited to close my first Estella home with my buyers. So, and these buyers are referrals, so I help the sister and brother-in-law. I helped the sister and brother-in-law, and now I'm helping them. I can't think. Okay, I'm going to call my mom now. Elianos, I guess, is doing— Hi, so sorry about all of this. I'm really sorry. They should do this at night. I know. Do you need somebody or you know what you want? I think I know what I want. I don't know where she is, but she's up there. Okay, cool. Thank you. You too. Um, they are doing, I guess, pavement work work in this whole entire parking lot. And Elianos, there's like no inside, like you can't go inside, it's only drive-through. And there's two ways of the drive-through, um, and the other way is closed. So the line is literally wrapped around the whole building, and this girl's like apologizing to everyone about the work, but it's like not her fault, so it's okay. That's why we're always early, never late. But I think I'm gonna get a dolce latte today. It's been my favorite drink. And if you've never heard of Eliano's, it's Italian coffee. So much better than Starbucks, so much better than Dunkin' Donuts. Like, I feel like once you have Eliano's, the coffee at Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks is like watery. Like, Starbucks is watery and then Dunkin' is more like sugary, if that makes makes sense. So Eliano's is the other way from where I need to be, but that's okay because I really needed it. Hi, how are you? Good, how are you? Good. Can I do, um, uh, I don't know what it's called. It's the dolce. Cafe Dolce? Yeah, a large. Alrighty. And that's it. Alrighty, perfect. Natalie Barnes. And just like that, we have my coffee. Oh, literally so good. I think what I want to do is actually go get a car wash because I'm driving through all this dirt and I do not want to pull up to my appointment with a dirty car. I feel like that's so awkward. So, and the car wash is literally up here. My car is white and obviously pavement is black, so I'm hoping— and I'm driving through some of it, like the little specks— I'm hoping it doesn't stay on my car. Man, this coffee is so good. I literally love it. I get the caramel iced dolce latte. Dolce, I don't know what it's called, but it's— I know it's caramel and white chocolate, I think. So good. And their cup sizes, like, I always think this is a medium, like this is what a medium would be at Dunkin' Donuts. This is a large. And then they're small, I don't even I don't think they have a small. Actually, they probably do, but I know that their mediums, that's like the size of their medium. This is so good. Anyways, we're gonna go get a car wash and then go to my appointment. It is currently 9:20 now. It's hot, but I just got back in my car. I just wanted— I already did this yesterday, like I did a full detail yesterday, car wash inside, outside, cleaned my mats, like vacuumed my whole entire back. I know I'm good. But I'm really happy that I actually came today because I was right when I got coffee. Some of the pavement, like, I guess soot— I don't even know what it's called— the black stuff got on my car. So while I went through, it got some of it off. It didn't get all of it off, so I had to like kind of scrub it off. It all got off, so It all came off, so not a big deal, but I'm really, really happy. I'm really trying to keep this car in the best condition possible because I definitely want to— go, go, go, go— I want to trade this in, um, once I either pay it off or in the next like 2 to 3 years. I want to trade this in for my dream car. So keeping it in really good condition is important. I did not do that with my Buick. I barely got car washes. Oil change was basically the only thing I really kept up with, and I actually made money off that car, um, which is really good. Let's head to my appointment. Okay, we are just now finishing the appointment. It went well. Couple issues. We have our first walk on Monday, um, but a couple issues structurally, um, that we got to figure out that we noticed, but nothing I don't think the builder can do about it. Um, so we'll need to find a solution somehow, some way. That's why they have me. But that house is beautiful. I mean, the workmanship is beautiful, um, the colors they picked, beautiful. I love the kitchen, the color of the kitchen. So it's just figuring out a couple little things, which shouldn't be an issue. I'm gonna go home now, do a couple emails. Um, I need to see all of the things that I missed on my phone while I was at that appointment. But today has been a really good day. Another weird thing— oh no, do I know where I'm going? I think I do. Another weird thing, I was telling them about my week last week, and they're very into like astrology and like the signs of everything. They said that they were having a really bad week too. So definitely something in the atmosphere is not aligning. I don't know, I don't know anything about astrology, um, or like the wind and moon and sign. I don't even know sun. I don't know anything. So it would be very interesting to see what was happening last week, but it's a new week. We are super productive. It's so funny because this month on my YouTube channel I focused a lot on new construction. And I'm still doing that. So a lot of the new construction videos are already preset for this month, like I already filmed them, edited them, and I have 2 videos I have to do, which is a day in the life, this vlog, and then my next one. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I think I might take Arabella to Disney tomorrow depending on what I have. Um, I need to call for an inspection, so I have to do a to-do list when I get home, um, to see when he can go out there and inspect the home. But I think I might take Arabella to Disney tomorrow, uh, just so we can have like a girls' day. I miss Disney. She's been asking me to go to Disney, and you guys have been liking the vlogs of Disney, so it'd be like a good content day and a mommy and me day. So we'll see. Um, I've been busy but slow. So 2 days ago I wrote a contract with Meritage Homes. Um, I don't know when that's closing. I have to get with my client to see. He got an offer on his home, so I'm praying to God they took the offer. Um, or if there's backup offers, that's even more amazing. So we'll just see, and then we'll take it from there. I don't know when that house is closing. It's either going to be next month or in August. We'll just have to see, wait and see. Okay, so we're on the way to my house now. I'm gonna go sit in my office. I need to charge this camera, and it's currently 11 o'clock, so we have a couple more hours work and then we are done for the day. Hey, you're not allowed to drink coffee. You're not allowed to drink coffee. Obviously we're back home. It was hot out today, like super hot. Um, I just got off the phone with another agent who is looking to get into new construction, which I think is amazing. And I'm back home now. So I texted my rep for Estella and I had to schedule that. So I already called the inspector. He said he can come out Friday or Thursday, but it's probably going to be Friday, um, to check out the house that we were just at. I called the sales rep for Estella. She is no longer with them, but she still helped helping me manage that whole entire, um, deal. So I'm figuring out with her what they need for the inspection to happen. Anyways, let's do some admin work. Okay, it's about an hour later, but I just, um, ordered two things on Etsy. One of them, they're both open house flyers, but I'm gonna do some reverse prospecting today, um, and customize these templates. And then another one is like this bundle of marketing stuff. That's where I get all of my um, things from. Like, all of my marketing is from Etsy, and I like to keep the same vibe, so I order from the same girl because I really like her stuff. And it's super, super easy to do. You just download it and then it goes straight to Canva, and then you just edit it that way. But that is what I'm working on, is new stuff for my Moana Court listing. I want it to sell. I need it to sell. So that is what we're doing. Okay, it's currently 2 o'clock. I've only had my coffee all day. Um, I just finished a bunch of content for my social media marketing reverse prospecting, and, uh, I'll show you you guys what I made with the help of ChatGPT and Etsy, my two best friends. Okay, so I made this for my Instagram, this for reverse prospecting, and also I put it on my Facebook, which is really, really nice. I also just got the appraisal for the house that I was at this morning, and it came back higher, which which is amazing. We love that. And they just locked in their rate, which is amazing. So it's currently 2 o'clock. I'm waiting to hear back on if we can do the inspection this week. I'm hungry, so I think I want to get Chick-fil-A. I don't really know. I still need to organize Arabella's room and her bathroom, but I'm hungry, so I think I'm gonna go eat and then we'll figure out what to do. This is a day with me. It's kind of boring, but It's what I deal with every single day. I think it's fun. I don't know about you guys, but I think it's fun. Also, I'm in comfy clothes. Tanky boys right there. Good Diet Coke sounds really good, like a crisp one. So I think that's what we're gonna go get. What are you doing? You're not coming with me. I just got a car wash, bubs. You can't come with me. That's one thing that's not good. You can't drive, bub. On the other side. Go on the other side. You're ridiculous. Literally ridiculous. I just got my car washed and now— it's okay, we are— hopefully I have my phone. Anytime Tank comes with me, I have to pick him up and put him in my car. With all of the blankets and stuff. Um, but if he touches my skin, you have to hand sanitize my whole arm. Like, wherever he touched, I have to hand sanitize because I break up— I break out in hives really bad. Just had to hand sanitize everything. Let's make sure we got our phone. We do. Wallet, we do. Let's go. Tank Loves going bye-bye so much. It's his favorite thing to do. He is 10 years old and he acts like a little tiny puppy, but his favorite is when me and him go get food together. He loves to get food. I don't think you've had Chick-fil-A. Like, I don't think we've been to Chick-fil-A together, so might get him like nuggets or something. He loves— he loves McDonald's more than anything. His cheeseburgers he loves, but we're not getting a cheeseburger today. I just posted on my Instagram that like Tank came with me for lunch. I just looked at the picture of him, I'm like He kind of smells. He has literal shit on him. I don't know if you guys can tell, look at his chest. What in the world? How? How do you get poop on you? Just how? Ahh! Get down! Get down! I literally can't. I'm gonna have like a mental breakdown and it's like about to pour and this truck in front of me cut me off. We're at Chick-fil-A and I'm hangry, I think. Talk to you guys when we get our food. Okay, so we have like this really little one, so I got— oh, that's fine, thank you. Also, I just noticed I have 2 fries, but you got to sit. Oh my God, thank you so much. Thank you. So they rang up my order wrong, apparently. Recently I got double fries. I pay for— normally get like large fries, large Diet Coke with the nugget meal, but they gave me medium fries and then charged me for a large fry. So when I opened my bag, I was like, ooh, this is wrong. Um, I was just gonna get back the fries, but they said I could pick something else, and I got a chocolate shake. Why? I have really bad cramps right now, and a chocolate shake sounds good. I've never had a Chick-fil-A chocolate shake. You smell so atrocious, it's not even funny. Good car, don't go, don't go. Why would you go? Anyways, we're trying to beat the rain. I have the window down because he— oh, sorry, Louie. Smells really bad. Mine, mine, thank you. Sam just gave the dogs both a bath, thank goodness, because they really needed it. But it is 5:40, so I'm ending the vlog here. Thank you guys so much for watching and spending the day with me.
