What I Got From My Baby Shower | Natalie Nicole

Okay, I feel like this is going to be a little bit overwhelming, but I really, really want to film this video, so we're just gonna jump into it and maneuver our way around this. Hi guys, what's up? It's Natalie Barnes. Welcome to, welcome back to my YouTube channel. So in today's video, I wanted to show you guys what I got for my baby showers. I've had 2 baby showers, one in North Florida where I currently live, and then one in South Florida where I used to live with all my mom's friends, my sister's friends, and my friends. This one up here was more like family. Um, but yeah, I really wanted to do this video. I love watching these kind of videos. However, sitting down to go film this is like a little bit intimidating because I have literally way too much stuff to even fit in a 10-minute video. So this is gonna be a little bit longer than 10 minutes. If you guys don't know, I am 33 weeks pregnant as of right now with a baby girl. We are in her nursery right now. I'm literally obsessed and I cannot wait to show you guys like the final nursery tour. And I'm so excited to be filming so many more baby content with you guys, for you guys. But yeah, I'm 33 weeks pregnant right now and time is flying by. I'm getting a little nervous because I feel like the room is so cluttered and I just need to film this video because this is the one video I really, really wanted to do and I've been pushing it off until I had the second baby shower to show you guys everything I got. Um, but now sitting here I feel like I should have just done one and then shown you guys like a little bit of what I got for the second one, but it's fine. Anyways guys, without rambling on too much, let's get on with the video. Okay, like I said, this is gonna be a long video, so go get like little popcorn and a little drink or something because we're about to dive in. So I think I'm gonna start off with bottles. So I got the Dr. Brown bottles right here and right here because the little boy I babysit, he uses these and I absolutely love them. I got the kit and then I also got this smaller 3-pack, which is really nice. I also got these glass bottles just So I have like a variety of different ones because I don't know if she'll like the Dr. Brown ones. Evenflo, I think it's called, and they're like little— I'll show you guys— little glass bottles. I wanted to try these, so if these don't work or she doesn't like love them, I might keep these at my mom's house just so she has bottles down there, just in case. Yeah, those were really the bottles I got. I am not breastfeeding her, so I'm going to be doing formula. A really cool thing I did get though was— I'll show you guys this first. So this is a little formula, a travel box that you can take to Disney, like literally road trips anywhere. And you put the amount you want in, and then it comes with the scoop, and then you just scoop it out and then give a bottle. How smart! Love it. And I got in pink. I got this to dry the bottles upstairs. I'll show you guys later, but I have a sterilizer for the bottles, um, It's pretty cool actually. It's like, like a little dome. Okay, so this is like the little sterilizer we have. I forgot the brand of this one, but it's amazing. Um, I've washed these two bottles over here, one glass, one plastic, and they turned out really, really good. I would highly recommend this. I'm gonna use that to basically sterilize the bottles, but it doesn't really dry that well, so I'm going to be using this to dry the bottles. So I also got this Smart Formula Mixer Pro. Let looks like this. I've seen so many reviews on TikTok saying this is like literally the best thing to have, and I'm super excited to use it. You can hook it up to your phone. It's basically like a little Keurig, so that's gonna be nice to have for in the middle of the night when I don't want to make a bottle. You just go beep beep beep and then it makes a bottle for you. I'm gonna do the big stuff so I can just get it out of the way right now. So before the video, I was trying to set up, um, her little swing. Didn't go as well as I thought, so I'm just gonna wait until Sam can do it. It's right here for right now, but we got like a a little swing. My best friend got me this canopy for her little car seat. We got two car seats. I'll also— I'll also insert a picture right here of what the second car seat looks like. We got two, one for Sam's car, one for my car, or if I'm like with my mom, one for her car, one for my car, whatever. This is what it looks like. I'm literally obsessed with the color and it matches perfectly to my car. But yeah, this is like a little canopy. So I also got this Baby's First Christmas. This is so cute. It's just like a little ornament for your tree for Christmas time. I didn't know I was getting that. Then I got these newborn— they're for her, um, closet, and it says the different sizes. So I'm excited to use these and organize like all of her stuff. She has so much clothes, guys. That's another thing, she got so much clothes, and I'm so appreciative of all the clothes that she has, but she definitely has way more clothes than me and Sam put together. Like, this little girl has so much clothes. Next thing, we are really into books, so I asked people to get me books, obviously. Um, Goodnight Moon was my favorite book growing up, so I had to get this one. And then The Runaway Bunny. I've never even seen this one before, so this is gonna be really nice to have. Over there we have other books too. And then up there is her little piggy bank with her light, with her light. This little scoop for the bath, um, this is perfect for bath time play. And, um, just to rinse off the water on her head. It's like a little whale. I know a lot of people say these are like lifesavers, so I had to get one. Okay, this is her silk mattress crib cover. I guess silk is supposed to be really good for their hair, so I added this to my registry. I also added the same for her, her changing mat and her bassinet. So all of this is all silk, and then I also have regular sheets well for her. Next thing are these like little tiny— I don't know if you guys can see them, but they're literally the cutest thing ever. My mom's friend that's known me since like birth got— made me these, not got me, she made me these. They're little tiny sandals. I mean, are you guys dying? I'm dying. She's gonna be so cute going to brunch. You guys know if you've been watching me for a while, I love to say an outfit and like where she's gonna go in it, especially for myself. Like if I'm like, oh, this is a brunch outfit, this is a church outfit. This is going, you know, shopping outfit. These are definitely brunch shoes. And we got plates, little tiny separating plates. One thing I'm really weird about is my food touching. I hate when my food is touching, and I hate when other people's foods are touching. So, um, this is like a little divider plates. You got yellow, this bluish gray color, and then pink. These will come in handy. Then she got this adorable little robe for bath time, and she also got the tub as well. So this tub is really cool because it weights her and it also shows you the temperature of the water. So I'm so excited for her to use this. I take extremely hot showers, so I don't really know what is like a good temperature because Sam says it all the time, I like literally burn my body, which I don't, I just enjoy hot showers. Um, so this will tell me if it's too hot for her, too cold. So next thing I got is her little milestone blankets. Slash you take a picture on it when she turns like a month, 2 months, whatever. I'm so excited for this. Then we got her little tiny pacifier holders. So if we're going somewhere and I want to throw like a little pacifier into my diaper bag, it won't be touching anything because these little cases hold the little pacifier, make sure it doesn't touch. Also, this is my diaper bag. So I actually picked this out from Amazon. I did not find any like actual diaper bags that I like loved the most, um, that I would want to use every single day. But I found this one and I'm obsessed because it says Mommy Bag and it also comes with baby necessities and it comes with Mommy's Treasures. So I can take these and move them to any bag and I'll still know like this is all of her stuff basically. And I like it because it's also like a duffel bag if we're traveling somewhere. Two-in-one, which I love. This is my second baby bag, so diaper bag. This This is going to be for when we go to Disney, just because this is actually the type of diaper bag where you open it up and it comes out into a changing table. Um, I'm a germaphobe, so I really, really appreciate and love this one. It's solid black, um, with like a little bit of rose gold and then gold hardware, and it's super big too. This is a backpack, so I'll definitely be taking this when we travel and go to like amusement parks with her, basically like Disney. So this will be really nice to have. Thermometer. Then we got the Drift, um, all-purpose cleaner in like the little sprays. We got some Think Baby, um, this is for— oh, this is sunscreen. Then I got this really cool little cute little pacifier clip that sticks onto her, um, clothes so we don't lose them. We got another book. The baby I watch, he has this one, but it's a dinosaur. I think this one's really, really cute. Little socks. Oh, so this is cool because it's, um, put this on the car seat again and it's like canopy one, but it covers the whole thing. And you can also use it for a high chair or shopping cart, like when you go to Publix or Target. I really wanted just a tan one, so that's what I asked for and I got, which is really nice. What else? We got pacifier wipes, a teether, and So many bows. These little poop bags for when she has— not an accident, but when she has a dirty diaper and we're on the go somewhere, you put it in here and then you just throw it away. We got more socks. Silicone placemat, so when we go out to dinner somewhere, she has like a little placemat that she can play on, eat on, whatever. This little medicine dropper from Frida Baby, and it's like a little pacifier, but then you shoot the medicine in their mouth. And then they just like take it, you know. More of those baby clips, they look like this. Teething rings, another teething ring. This is the Frida Baby, um, vapor wipes, really good for their noses. Next thing I got is this baby wrap carrier, so this is going to be more for me. Looks like this, it's supposed to be super soft, light pink, and like easy to hold her in. So if I'm walking around the house or even if I'm going out, I can just hold her on me instead bringing a whole entire car seat and stuff. Then we also got— this is when she's like a little older, but this is like little sand toys, um, for the beach. That was so cute. It's like a little pail. I don't know, I love that. Then we also got like a heavy duty— not a heavy duty, but an actual baby carrier that you would wear probably to Disney or if you're going to like the park or something. Yeah, I definitely wear this over the other one. A grooming kit which has literally everything that she would need. Which I love. Some toys, a little Minnie Mouse backpack, and another mitt. She got some swaddles. These are the— these are the Winnie the Pooh ones. They're great for swaddle, um, a stroller cover, or tummy time, nursing, burping, changing table cover. These are amazing, and they're super soft too, which I love. Then I had to add this to my registry. This is the Baby Merlin's Magic sleep suit. This is supposed to be really, really nice for them to sleep in when they're 3 to 6 months or even beyond that because it's like a weighted like sleep suit, so it'll feel like she'll still be in like the little womb. I'm hoping she'll really like that. I'm hoping she got like a little bunny. Then she got— this is for my stroller, so it has like a little place for drinks, place for your phone. AirPods, everything. My stroller is the Cozy Maxi— Maxi Cosi stroller. It's right over there. I'll show you guys that at the end. I absolutely love it because it also comes with the attachable bassinet. Um, we got her some of that stuff and lotions. We got Baby Shusher too. This is when she's teething. This is a silicone beater. She can like chew it. We got this for Disney. We go to Disney a lot, so we got this for Disney. Um, it's just to hold your bag onto stroller. Collar. Got some Aquaphor, some Drift laundry stain remover, some Triple Paste for diaper rash. This is her crib sheet cover. It's like really, really soft. I don't know the name of it, but it's super soft, and I got it in like a blush tone. We got some laundry detergent. Um, we got two of these, so we got one that says please do not touch and another one that says do not touch, but they're like the little tiny signs that go on her car seat or stroller. I just don't want people really touching her unless like I say it's okay or Sam says it's okay. Got some bath toys. So we also got this bath brush. So this is really good for their scalp and body. When they're first born, they have a little bit of like dry scalp almost. You have to like peel it off. So this should really, really help her head. If you don't do this, their hair follicle kewl will actually like get stuck and their hair won't like grow, which is actually kind of sad. And then this is for once again her little diapers. When she has a messy diaper, you just put it in here and then you bag it up and then you throw it away. So I also got formula to food container, so this can hold formula and it can also hold some food in it. These are going to be handy when we travel. A little diaper caddy, I'm gonna put this right next to my bed when we first have her so I don't have to have to keep coming in here and changing her. We have a sound machine. We're also going to be using the Alexa, which is right behind you guys. So this is actually, um, a travel sound machine, which I really like. We have the Baby Remedies, but it has butt paste, and then it has literally every single thing you can think of in here for babies, which I love. Got diapers, then we got even more medicine, saline spray and drops, easy breathing, gentle wash away mucus. And then this is for gas, hiccups, and fussiness. Then we also got some diapers. And then this is the car monitor to see her. I don't like the whole mirror thing because I constantly have to look back. And if I have this, this actually goes on your dashboard and it's a little camera, see her, like a little screen to see her. And the camera goes right above her car seat, obviously. That's gonna be really nice. Over here, I'm not gonna pick it up because it's so heavy. This is actually her high chair. This I'm not gonna unbox until she's a little older and is going to be needing this. But I added this to the registry because so many people said think of head— think ahead, and I really did. So I'm really happy we got this. Next thing we got is this diaper pail. This is another thing I don't want to pick up, but basically I really like this one because you can use any trash bag, and you don't have to use— like, I know for the Diaper Genie you have to use their bags, and this you can use any bags. And it has a child lock on it so she can't harm herself, and you can't really even smell any of the diapers. I'm moving on to her crib. Basically, this— Sam's mom got us the whole crib, and my mom's friend who made the little sandals made this beautiful blanket. So she's gonna— that's probably gonna be her hospital blanket. Her little mobile swing thing, we're gonna lift it higher, but right now this is where it's going. We got that also. And my mom got her this like little toy, and we have the lollipop camera as well. Okay, change of scenery because over there is literally a mess that I just showed you. I'll show you guys. Like, what? That is way too much stuff. Anyways, this is her little Jungle Gym playpen. My heart is like literally racing right now. I'm talking so fast. Next thing I got was some Lily dresses. For brunch. Cute for brunch. I'm not a fan of like the huge bright colors or anything. As you guys can tell, I either like neutral or light pink. However, these are an exception. Um, and then this is the other little dress. Guys, come on, this just screams take me to Hawaii basically. So I got those two. So okay, the boppy over there we also got for baby shower. This is the stroller, and then right there is the, um, bassinet. Net, and then that little toy thing on it is also— that's removable, but we got that for our baby shower as well. This bag right here is literally filled with all diapers and wipes. We also got a bassinet and a pack and play. I'm gonna put both of those pictures right here for you guys so you guys can see them. I got a laundry basket for her nursery to put all of her stuff in. What else? She got blankets, clothes, pajamas, pacifiers, Um, hat, bows. She has so many bows. I feel like I'm forgetting so much stuff. I mean, the list can go on and on. I'm not gonna show you guys all of her outfits because she got so many. That was basically it. Anyways guys, that is it for today's video.
