A short instructional audio (YouTube) guiding a five-minute barbell complex composed of four movements performed for time: presses (optionally behind-the-neck, hand-width/range cues), deadlift/good-morning style lifts emphasizing glute activation and low-bar depth, curls (extended and short-range, spider curls), and squats. The instructor emphasizes one-minute time blocks, exercise variations, pacing (perceived exertion), and progressive overload (add reps/weight over time).

Do yourself a favor and invest five minutes in your barbell press for a minute. If you're more adventurous, make those presses behind the neck. If you're even more adventurous, go for a bit lower press. If your hands go wider, makes it easier. I get one minute of presses. These workouts for the time pour. Perceived time pour if you need to. Just, just relax. Just rest bottom of the back. You're going to be repeating it so you don't have to stress yourself out about going as hard as you can. Next one. We want to get the bar close to the floor as we can. You see getting down nearly touching the ground, almost the floor. It's like picking up a stone, picking something up out of a hole. Challenging for the back. Good way to get the glutes involved. It's pretty easy to get good glute activation when you get into this depth. You can do the straight leg variation of it. And do the good morning variation of it. The wide stance good morning variation of it. There are good variations. Curls.
One minute.
Spidercls. Extended range curls. Perfect curls. Get long range. Working still hard out here. All the way to short range. The bar's not going that far while the body's still doing the work all along the way. Squat. Four movements, five minutes. You feel good for it. Count your reps. You can progress in weight, you can progress in reps. Never an excuse. Enjoy. Do it around your skill work.
