Everything you need to know about uncommon athletics in under 10 minutes. I've coached world champion athletes who compete in a specific sport. And it's fun to push the standards up in something that lots of other people are competing about. But uncommon athletics is about you. It's about your athletic fingerprint and your purpose and mission athletically in life. This is a philosophy that works very well in business. Consideration. Becoming excellent at two or three things in business and in life and everything opens up for you. If you become excellent in athletic, excellent in richer and excellent in smarter, life opens up for you. This is a general philosophy. If you want to be great in business, you're great at marketing, but you're also outstanding at making cakes. If you've got two great abilities, then anything is possible for you. So on the athletic side of things, again, we want to be that unique fingerprint of ourselves. What are the five things that you value athletically and how can you push them to a new standard? That's what uncommon athletics is about. It's about you competing against yourself. We also have general leaderboards, general foundational abilities that will lift you ahead. And maybe some of your movements that you care most about are in that list of uncommon athletics movements. Skill, speed, stamina, strength and stretch are the five areas that we work in. So in skills we work foundational abilities like being able to juggle, being able to do a handstand, being able to balance on one foot, being able to foot juggle. These are our key core skills. But then we layer on top of that anything you want to. We've got a five minute volleyball challenge that's just gone live. We've got ballet strength strength coming into the mix for uncommon athletics, literally anything that you can be skillful at. Ballet strength is skill as well. We're working on positions that you can get into and coordination within those ballet movements. Speed, you might value being able to run really fast in straight line. You might value being able to change direction really quickly. You might value being being able to lift a bar really fast. Get it overhead, you decide what you're going to be excellent at. You want to be decent, okay. Within all of those areas, skill, speed, stamina, strength and stretch. Stamina can be the ability to repeat. So you're able to bench press 100 kilos consistently for an hour, five reps every minute. That would be an exceptional feat and it also goes along with having a great one. Rm. So on the strength side, you might want a one, but. But on the stamina side, you might be able to press for extreme volume, you decide make your authentic athletic fingerprint. It's a beautiful, beautiful thing if you study human design. If you look back at all traditional cultures, they've always cared about, the most advanced cultures and civilizations of our past have always cared about when and where somebody was born. They believe that it has an impact on who that person will become. If you look into genetics, if you look into fingerprints, there's always unique capacities. So if we are really unique in who we can be and what we're going to become, we should also have that athletically. I'm not saying you can't compete in a sport. You can't be 100 meter sprinter, weightlifter. But the fun is in developing yourself to extreme levels in a way that nobody can match you. My plan for you athletically, if you're willing to accept my guidance and support, is that you become unmatched. There's not a single man in the world who can compete with you at what you do. And if you set your heart on it, you will achieve that, or at least you'll have a lot of fun in the process. And if someone else decides they want to dedicate themselves to exactly what you do, fantastic. I can do a back bridge. I can juggle three balls in one hand, I can snatch over body weight, I can five ball juggle, I can juggle with both feet. For me it's fun to have a broad range of things that I'm able to do. So I've always got someone something to teach others at the same time. General capacity across many, many abilities. I've been doing some boxing lessons in the last couple of years. I've done a boxing lesson with an Australian elite level boxer, the son of an Australian champion. Different people and they've taught me about their approaches to boxing. Does that make me a good boxer? No. Do I want to get in serious fights? Do I want to be a pro fighter? No. But even doing 25 minutes of a skill, let alone 25 hours, can put you to a place of rare athletic ability. That's what I want for you. I want you to have this massive base of skills and then choose to do some stuff that's truly unique, truly special, truly your own. When you do that, you can't help but be invigorated about life. You can't help but be inspirational to others regardless of your goals in life. This athletic, being exceptional athletically is one of the most valuable things that you can do. It changes your belief in yourself and it gives others something concrete to know about. You, they know for a fact, no slither of a doubt, that you do the work, that you're exceptional. Isn't that a great thing to have? Don't you want to be understood in that way? Men don't need compassion and to be told, oh you're beautiful just the way you are. Men need to be respected and they need to work to earn that respect. That's what we value. This is one area that you need to be challenged. You need to have body composition that you're proud of. Now if you're wanting to be a heavyweight wrestler or a heavyweight weightlifter or a rugby league prop or a rugby union prop, it's unlikely that you're going to be shredded. Veins coming out all over the place, that's fine. But if you want to compete in a power to weight ratio sport or you just want to really look good, then do that. If you want to look shredded, do that. If you want to look thick, do that. Have the physique, have the build that you want, have the physique and the build that goes with the abilities that you desire. There were all time weightlifters who were pretty big as far as percentage body fat, like 20 plus percent body fat. Doug Hepburn, Paul Anderson, these were huge world class weightlifters. They performed many different strength feats. They were able to perform handstand push ups. So being a big, big man and performing handstand push ups is a beautiful thing. If you can juggle five balls overhead, you might be one of very few, very few men in the world who can do that. Even if there are quite a few people who get to seven ball juggling, quite a few, there's some in the world of juggling, right? But choose something uniquely your own. Consider random feats that maybe I want to do that. Wim Hof went and broke a number of world records before he became well known with his breathing method and, and his meditation ability to get into different space in your mind through breathing. It's really a form of meditation. But he had extreme athletic history behind that. I think one of the feats was hanging from one finger on a bar in a plane, massively, you know, way above ground level. He performed all kinds of feats. He ran a marathon in the desert drinking no water. I still don't know how he did it. How did he stay alive? How was he able to perform these feats? A lot of times he didn't do any training for them. He broke world records. The mental exploration that goes with this journey that I want you to have is just as important and just as exciting. The transformation in self image. Ultimately, it's the self image that matters most. If you want to make more money, transform the self image. If you want to transform the self image, become uncommonly athletic. Be able to do things that shock and amaze you. The old you thinks, there's no way I could do that. And then when it becomes normal, it puts the doubt in your mind of, well, if I can rewire my brain to be able to do that, what else could I rewire my brain to be able to do? Doubt whom you will never yourself. The fun isn't getting after these rare feats. The fun is in designing the style of training that goes with that. I've got a number of methods, programming methods. I've got tutorials on different rare movements. Every man enjoys the journey of experiencing what he's truly capable of athletically. We all think about at some stage in our lives, don't deny it. We've all thought about wonder if I could have that body composition. I wonder if I could perform that feat. And we watch other people do it. And we watch things like the CrossFit documentary or we watch videos on YouTube about how people have done the things that they've done. But the fun is in you doing it. You watching the NFL super bowl is not a fraction of as exhilarating and as rewarding as you holding your first 60 second handstand. I guarantee it. You cannot get the same joy from watching someone else's stuff. You must embody it, you must experience it. And in doing so, you pose the question and you create the doubt in the minds of all of those around you. What if I could? What if you could? What if your children could? What if your grandparents could? What if your mother could? You create that doubt, those possibilities. I have no doubt that this method will change the way professional sport is done. We're not doing it right. We have this concept of strength training that's not even great as far as force development goes, let alone skills, let alone mobility, let alone let alone stamina. We can do so much better in every one of these areas. And there are coaches and experts already within uncommon success. We're only 250 men at the moment, and we're in a position where we can rewrite the athletic books. The fun is in doing it. The fun is in. Okay, well, you said you're going to do this. You said this is possible. Let's go and do it. What is it for you if you are going to be audacious enough to be consistent for the next four years at achieving something athletically. What would that be? Pose yourself the question, live the answer. Enjoy the journey. If this resonated, drop me a comment, drop me a personal message. I'd love to hear. Uncommon Athletics. What can you do that no one else can do? Look at the example of Van Patrick knees over toes guy. It's not necessarily ATG0 dense standards that really lit up the world. It was being able to do those natural knee extensions, jumping down off the ladders, being able to do the splits. These were the trademarks that stuck in people's minds. These are movement means. Which Movement means are you working on the older you are right now and the worst condition you're in right now and the fatter you are right now. If you don't want to be fat, then the better your transformation will be. The worst position you're in right now. The word the more injuries that you have, the more surgeries that you've had, it all makes the story better. I challenge you being Uncommon Man.
