KeeganCoach & Nico from Bali Time Chamber

A long-form YouTube interview (Keegan Smith & Nicolas Depauli, 2024-07-01) exploring how athletic training serves as a psychological and practical foundation for building better lives, businesses, and families. Keegan recounts his path from athlete and rugby coach to entrepreneur and community-builder; he and Nicolas discuss Time Chamber camps and village projects, the role of brotherhood and in-person squads, three practical pillars for change (connection, daily action, targeted knowledge), and a life philosophy prioritizing joy, creative contribution (joyful genius), and designing resilient family/village environments. Concluding advice: "There's nothing to fear."

Let's go. We are live. So, Keegan, nice to have you here.
Thanks for hosting. Great to see you.
How are you doing?
Very well. Never better.
Just had a quick training. We ate bit of liver. Raw milk was nice.
Yeah. Some raw meat as well. Swiss products, high quality.
We're now in Switzerland for. For the one who don't know me, I'm Nicolas Depauli, like the motion guy on Instagram. I've been the creator of the Time Chamber. And we're gonna go a bit deeper in the process on this discussion with Qigan, because he's been playing a big role on the creation. So we're gonna talk more about this and also more about your system, which I've been following for many years now. Not the first, but maybe in the first ones.
About.
About everything, about training, about businesses. So a lot of interesting topics. So, yeah, you can start presenting yourself maybe for the one who does not know you yet.
Yeah, perfect. Yeah. I'm a man who liked sports, but wanted to get more beyond that and wanted to experience more of life. Like many men, I felt a bit uneasy of there's got to be more to life than this. I felt that quite a lot. And so on one side, I wanted to go to the Olympics, and I trained a lot. On the other side, I needed to understand how things work a bit more. And I wanted freedom. I never wanted nine to five. That was one thing I knew in high school. I didn't know much, but I knew I didn't want 9 to 5 like a lot of men. And then I went and traveled for a lot of my 20s, and I saw the world and I learned Spanish and met a lot of people, great experiences. I was really looking for a culture to be a part of that where somewhere where I could stay, that life would be good. I was looking in the Amazon. I was looking in the Mayan hills of Mexico, and I didn't find anywhere that I could really settle. I didn't find a wife. I didn't find a life. So I kept going, and then I ended up having to get work again, like everyone would expect. And I went back and worked in rugby, and I ended up coaching a world champion team maybe three years after that. And that was a bit of a shock because during the traveling times, I was living on less than 50 grand a year. From all my 30s, I never. Until I was 30, I never made more than 50 grand in a year, right? And I was living cheap and just living free and exploring. But then I had this champion rugby team and Then I became a father and I was like, well, how do I. How do I have the best life with this child? And I knew that it wasn't in rugby. I knew that I didn't want to be traveling with the team and be, you know, contract to contract with sporting teams. I saw that life with my father and I didn't want that for myself. As much as I love professional rugby, I love seeing camaraderie and men working really hard. But I wanted to play a different game. I wanted to see what was really possible for myself and for other men. And so the last 10 years, I've been building that out, help men open gyms to start with and kind of a holistic philosophy of gyms. And that's when you saw somewhere along the journey with that, some of the.
Time of Real movement project.
Yeah, real movement project. And yeah, yeah, I traveled the world with that. We went around the world every year running camps and I met great men and many of them I'm still friends with and some are coming to visit this summer. But I still wanted more than just the physical thing. I was still working out what is it that I really want? And it's continued to evolve. I started ATG for coaches and played a supporting role with Knees Overtoes Guy and ATG getting started, and that was really cool as well. I always wanted to have an impact on the way the world trains, and I've been able to support him to really have an impact on athletic training.
Because I think, yeah, I think this podcast is a good opportunity for people to know you better because I think maybe a lot of people, they get to know you through the athletic part to the training because you've been, you've been a reference in what you did. You've been promoting the dance strength method. You've been also helping a lot band pattering Ben Patrick on the beginning when he started his training system. Also that he bring now to the. To the best. And they don't get to know you on your family life, on your business side, on all of this, like what really motivates you deeply. So maybe that's going to be good so they can get to know this Keegan Smith also.
Yeah. And the only reason that it's valuable for you to watch this and hear the story is that maybe, maybe you can do more like maybe someone listening to this and for you as well. It's good for us to have this discussion.
So how the. Do you think he started with training like this journey started through the physics, through the, the Athletic part and then it brings something else after.
Yeah. I think it's the foundation you have to build health, build self respect. It's very difficult to think highly of yourself and be a great father, a great man. Of course there's fat men who make a lot of money, but it's, it's no way to live in. In my experience, like even when I'm out of shape, it's life is not as good.
Yeah.
So if we're building our best lives, a good foundation is that you're looking after the, the physical organism and it makes the brain work better as well. When you're in better shape, the diet is good. Sleeping well, feeling strong. It's so much easier to be good in the relationship, be better in business. And to be fair, it's, it's the best business card in the modern world of so much, you know. You can't fake 100 kilo snatch or 5 ball juggling or 90 second handstands. These feats take a lot of time. We've gone after the hardest stuff that takes the most time. Handstand push ups like you're doing them. If you do that hardest stuff in whatever excites you, it's at least a proof when you shake someone's hand, well, he knows how to work hard. He can get himself to consistently show up where you can fake a Lamborghini, you can rent an expensive apartment in Dubai for a week and get your videos and all this stuff that men are doing these days. You can take steroids to, to get yourself to a big physique. But the physical foundation, that's honest is something that I value in other men and.
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, for me it was exactly the same. I didn't really know. I've never been raised in the family with a lot of sports or anything and just came to me like something pure, something. I feel like I could really learn things in training even if I didn't read books or anything. You, you still learn humility, you learn discipline, you learn to. If you want to get something, you have to work hard. You have like clear values that you get through trainings. And for sure then for some people, training becomes an end in itself. You just want to be good at training and that's it. Just, that's your life. You get really good. And I think for most of us, most of the people may be looking is because they started this journey maybe and then they feel like, okay, now I've learned so many things, now I'm hungry for more and now I Don't really know, like, what to do because I know that I can do so much more because I've, I've learned the five ball juggle. I've learned handstands. I feel like, oh, I couldn't do this last year, but now this year, like, I can even teach people, I can explain everything, how it works. And so it gives you a lot of confidence, gives you a lot of power and you feel like, okay, okay, now I want to do more. I'm hungrier. And then what's the next step? Yeah.
When you have this proof of expansion, you know you can get better that no one can tell you. Okay, you can't do it. Look, I just did it. I just did the five ball juggle. I just did the, the handstand, the handstand push up. And you know, all the work that you put into that and nobody can take it away from you.
Yeah.
In business, when you tell someone your dream, I'm gonna make $10,000 a month online, I'm gonna make $20,000 a month online. You know, I'm not going to do all this stuff that I'm going to be free geographically. I'm going to travel the world with my family. Everyone around you, they haven't had that experience. So they're going to tell you, no, you can't. Like, they're going to. Whether they say it out outright, some people don't want you to do it because it makes them feel bad. Other people just honestly tell you, hey, like, don't try because you're going to feel really bad about yourself if you, if you try and do this and you can't do it. They want to protect you, whatever. And so having that proof that you can change in the athletic side is something that is really important and different from. I speak to people all the time. Have spent thousands and thousands on business coaching. Tens of thousands, hundreds of thousand. But they didn't get that fundamental change in belief in themselves. And that's undeniable. And it's really difficult to get this with business. Like you, you play with marketing and you play with sales techniques and you do courses. It's not really working for you. You can't see that you changed and that you're changing and other people around you can't see that you're changing. Whereas if you have the six pack you got shredded and now you snatch 100 kilos or 120 or whatever the number is for you, it doesn't really matter about the numbers, but it matters that in your mind you're like, I set myself on things and I see the change and the same thing has to happen in business. It's tough. I'm not lying to anyone. Like, you're just going to make money online and it's all going to come from the sky and you're going to drop ship some bullshit off Amazon and yeah, there's lots of people who take your money. If they tell you it's easy idea, you just trade the crypto coins or trade forex and you're going to be rich and then you're going to live in Dubai and everything's going to be good. But it's not like that. It's like the training journey where if you, if you turn up every day and handstand, you're going to have a handstand sooner or later.
Yeah. So what would you say to the people that wants to go on the business part without going to the training part first?
Yeah, like it's just, it's not my experience. Of course you can do it and people do it. I wouldn't want to do it that way. And I think I see you see a lot of people doing it and they, they're looking for shortcuts in business in the same way they're looking for shortcuts in training. You know, they take like liposuction. They want to take some peptides, some steroids, some whatever. Okay, try to do that in business. Maybe it works for you. Like there's, there's no one way. But yeah, I suppose I've always just been willing to do things the hardest way. You've seen me even today, what I'm doing, like I'm here visiting you, but I'm taking calls and I'm, I'm helping people because I'm willing to do it. Like I'm just, I'm willing to whatever it takes.
Yeah.
And yeah, yeah, you see it with the training, you see it with the business.
Yeah, for me that's also like, I'm kind of this team of like doing things also a bit step by step of like showing that, proving to yourself that you can do things through the physical and then you can expand on other stuff. But yeah, it's like you said, it's like you, you build yourself psychologically through training and then the attitude you have on your business, on your relationships, on everything, then it's been built through the training. So it's way more respectable, it's way more step by step with more humility. A lot of values that you get through training so, yeah, for sure. 100. I would say, like, it's kind of the foundation that you also promoting a lot. That's why also you have really good athletic goals and it's a main part of your system.
But you have my. You know, you're one of the men who first saw what I was doing and you're like, oh, that's interesting. He's no real rules about this. He's just getting all the stuff that he wants. And you were intrigued by it. You started to do it, but you've taken it to another level. Like, you've done a lot of things that I can't do and in business as well. So maybe like share a bit of like your. I think you have some different philosophy. It's clear you have some different philosophy about doing beautiful things and taking them further to completion. Just looking at your one arm chin up program, obviously the Bali Time Chamber compared to my village in Montenegro. It's not to like talk badly of myself, but we have different ways of completing projects.
But that's the beauty for me, the importance of having a leader because. Because when I saw your work, to explain a bit of the situation, I was in university, I was just doing stops, like the university about strength training. And it was kind of boring. Nothing, a lot of theory, not so much practice. We're not really doing anything. And I was passionate about being a complete athlete. So touching a bit everything, be it good in gymnastics, in Olympic weightlifting, also in powerlifting and being mobile and all that stuff. And I was kind of in a bad situation where I felt like, okay, obviously I need to choose one because you cannot do all this stuff. So if I want maybe to have a business, I need to specialize in something to show that I can do something and I need to not use the other stuff. And I didn't like this mindset. I felt like, no, I really love everything. I want to keep learning. I want to keep doing all of this and. And I feel like for me, if I didn't see you doing this, I just remember the first videos in Australia in your backyard with the like just training, doing even snatches outside. I remember on the box outside, I was like, wow, like, nobody's doing this and nobody's just training outside doing snatches and then doing some handstand, like holding. Now it's a bit more usual, like with CrossFit, that's been popularized, but before.
It wasn't so much on the trampoline and.
Yeah, on trampoline, doing backflips and juggling. And doing some splits, and I feel like, okay, that's the kind of athletes I want to be. And even without thinking about the business that I wasn't much interested in business or anything, I wanted to be complete. So to not just have one thing I'm good at, but just touch everything. And for me, that was the first step on this journey of, at the end, not simply being a complete athlete, but being a complete human. And then you realize that if I want to be really good at this thing, then I need to be good at the other stuff. Like, I cannot just be an athlete. I need to be a good businessman. I need to be a good father. I need to be. I want all these things. Like, you have more with the training now. You want more out of your life. And then you discover all the other parts, and all the other parts are the same things. Like, there's so many parts to work on. So it's really hard to have a clear journey, to have clear goals on this. And that's why I think it's important to have leaders, to have people that just showing the way and just. So like, okay, like, this guy did this and this, so it's possible. So, okay, I can do it. And then at some point, you can do different things. Because for me, it's not like I did better or anything. It's just like I did my way. And that's what I put. I push people to do is like, you take the same method, you take the same thing that you're doing, and then you make it your own. And then you add your experience, you add your lifestyle, you add your vision, your perspective, and then it becomes your thing. And then everyone can do his thing. That's the thing. Also I want to maybe share here is the. We always feel like if someone else is doing what you're doing, maybe he's gonna, like, steal your clients or like, get. But like, there is space for everyone. Like, really for everyone. Any level, anything you're doing, if you just put your touch, you're gonna speak to some people differently that another guy is speaking to some people. Even if it's really similar. Some people, they just prefer you. Some people prefer the other guy. There is space for everyone. And that's kind of the thing that I. I don't like through the business thing is like, we. We think that if we share with other people, then they're gonna take advantage or where at the end, it's like when we talk, when we discuss, when we exchange. And everyone is. Everyone is growing.
If you have gold. If someone here has gold and you give me the gold, then you don't have the gold anymore. They don't have the gold anymore. But if you give me knowledge like you did today with the muscle up and you give me knowledge, then I have more knowledge. But you also feel better about, you're clearer about how you teach something. Oh, he's not understanding this cue, let me try a different way. So you become more valuable, you understand what you're doing better, you get some self esteem out of the process, you get more connection with me and nobody loses out of this. But the way we're educated is to protect knowledge. Like it's gold. And we tell though, you know, keep it to yourself, keep it, keep it all locked up and never show anyone. And men are scared to show it. Yeah, they're scared because there's a lot of hate, there's a lot of negativity, whether it's from your family and people close to you who want the best for you, but they don't know, they don't understand the impact of what they're doing or you know, there's just people out there who got the habit of being nasty and that's the, that's the way they want to get respect or you know, they had a rough upbringing, whatever, right reason. And so most men don't, don't publish anything, they don't express anything, they don't, they don't even try because they're too concerned about failure. And she's like, oh, did I miss some muscle ups today? Yeah, did I fail? I don't think so. Like I learned a bunch. I'm more confident for next time. I don't feel bad about that process that we went through. I got some of my best reps ever on bar muscle ups and I missed some reps. And, and this is it. Like if you launch the 10k offer and nobody buys it, you didn't fail. You got an experience of getting that thing to market and you got, okay, a ratio out of 100 people so far there's 0 out of 100. But as soon as there's 1 out of 100 then you can work on how it's going to be too. And this is, this is the process and it takes a significant shift in the mind of a man because the schooling system is set up where you're cheating. If you look at someone else's work, you're cheating. Where now we look at each other's work, we show each other our best work. What are you working on. It's not cheating. It's. It's how you end up with a beautiful country like Switzerland. You think one person worked out how to put all this stuff together. These castles and the gondolas and all this beautiful infrastructure that exists didn't come from the idea of, okay, you protect your work. This is since 200 years at the most, this modern schooling system where it's, okay, we're going to test and measure you and tell you how good you are. No, in the village, everybody has to play a role. You don't want anyone in your village to feel like they're useless and shit because they're gonna not be good for the village. They're gonna steal stuff, they're gonna have a bad family. You don't want any families that aren't good in the village. In the English, there's a phrase, it takes a village to raise a child. I don't know. Do you have it in French?
Yeah, we have something like this.
Yeah, it's. It's like this. Like, you can't.
And it's completely true. Yeah.
You literally can't make a great life for your child on your own. And people think that they're going to.
I was talking with Amin, actually living in Morocco, and he had, like, a really good story with the previous king that said, like, he would never accept to have. Oh, I don't know how the. The houses where you put the old people. I don't know how you say in English.
Yeah. Nursing homes is what we call in Australia aged care.
There are none in Morocco. And it's, like, forbidden. It's like, if you do this, then it's like you don't have any more education and the country is going to fall. So he said, like, this is forbidden. And as long as I live, as long as my blood is here, there is not going to be things like this. The grandparents are going to stay home. When the parents go work, they're going to take care of the children. The children are going to respect more the grandparents. Also, you're not playing the same way like you play with your father or when you play with your grandfather, they are more calm so they can speak to your children differently. It's like all these things, like, works perfectly together. And then when you want to change all of this, that's why then you mess it up.
It's beautiful. Yeah. There's so much disconnect now. Most young people feel like the old people have nothing to offer because the old people don't know how to work the Phone. They're not buying cryptocurrency. They're not doing any of this stuff. So it can feel to a young person like there's nothing of value with all the people. But you only have to look. Even the. Just in Frankfurt had to go to Frankfurt for some documents. And I'm walking around and I'm seeing like 1905 on the building and I was just this beautiful. This building is so beautiful. Whoever built this, they had such beauty. They had beauty in their minds. And you see these, these buildings and you see the new one that's just built. This looks like this is, this is here for 50 years. Like they, maybe it lasts 100, but nobody cares. Like this is not pretty at all with the other, the other buildings. They built it thinking for a long time and there was obviously older buildings as well. But this is a shift that we've seen towards okay, everything new is good, but what about building something that's going to last for, for a century, for.
Two centuries and for sure this is the thing. Like you need a really good environment. You need good people, you need brothers, you need brotherhood around you. You need all of this to, to make this in your experience. Because you did already a lot of camps around the world. You played with Rigby team.
I coached. I didn't play.
Yeah, sorry, English. But you, you coach at pretty high level. You've seen like what it is to play in with different, with different guys together. You've been teaching a lot of guys also to, to build their businesses through the training. What do you think is the. How did the environment change? Guys that you, that you met already?
Yeah, yeah. Anyone who's been around pro sports or you do any high level sport, even individual sport or team, it's always about the squad. If you're a swimmer, if you're a sprinter, you have to get on the squad where everyone goes fast, where the standards are high and you see players come from poor clubs and then they go to a good club and they become a great player. They double their value in terms of their contracts. They improve themselves athletically, have more discipline with their diet, lifestyle, and then they, they get success there. Some low club signs them on a big contract and then they're useless again. You know, they go back to not, not holding the same standards. It's the biggest thing if you the. The clubs that are always near the top. It's about setting a standard. I think the standards that we set, nobody else was asking for those standards at the time. And teams on players on the other team asking, like, what. What. What are you guys doing? Like, why are you. Why are you so much, you know, physically, you're different to us. Like, what are you doing? And I was asking the players, you know, to eat no bread. I was asking them to eat no processed food. Were they doing that? No. But were we eating better than all the other teams? When they're having the team meals, they're like, none of the stuff was there. I went to France and we didn't have bread at the team meals. So even though they think, okay, this guy's crazy, at least when I talk about it, they know I'm passionate about it. They know I mean something with it. And I wasn't out there drinking with them. I was going to the organic food shop when I had no money and they knew I was on, you know, no money. I was buying the expensive food. So to an extent, you. You shift the men around you, and that's. That's the role of, of each man is to play their own role the best they can and take the things that they like from. From those around them. Honestly, like, I'm much better when I'm training with you because, you know, when we train together in Bali, when we train to here, like, I'm going to be better than if I'm just on my own.
Yeah.
And every man is like this. There's no professional athlete who's training himself into the Olympics.
Yeah. I think that's the big thing also. I've realized the past years also with the experience of being in the time chamber with all the people, is that how we underestimate the. The power of just being, like, surrounded by guys, not only online, but just in real life? It just changes everything. It's crazy how it's hard to explain. So, like, okay, like, just spend a week here and your life is going to change and say, yeah, no, no. But then they do that weekend. Then it's just like so many discussions and so many perspectives on life that you would never expect. Like I said, you don't know what you don't know, and that's when you. What you discover when you go with other guys. So we're going to speak on topics that I would not even think about, that it can help my life. We can do something better. I would not even care about it. And then you put it in a different perspective. And I feel, oh, that's actually exactly what I was looking for. And then I feel like you just grow so much faster. And that was the.
Yeah.
Principle. That was the Value of Time Chamber is like, you grow way faster in just a period of time, and you see it's happening in real time. Like you. I think we've both seen guys just changing in a few days just because they sit down. They spoke with four different guys for four hours, and then they're like, wow, okay, like, this guy is doing this. I would never expect him to do this. This guy is doing this and just blow your mind. I think that that's the most potential we have is just like unlocking mind, like making mind shifts, and then we just unlock a new vision because that's the most important thing. When you have the vision, then it's. It's accessible because you can see it now. So it just changes everything when you.
When you take away the stress and when there's no anxiety, they're in that environment. In Bali Time Chamber, like, what. What are you going to be stressed about? Yeah, you can think about everything that you're going to go home to, but really, you have beautiful food, you have a beautiful view, you have sauna, nothing to stress. You become much more creative. You can recover faster from training. Everything is different. And you feel the energy of the other guys. And this is, what if life was like that? You know, that's the, that's the hypothesis. I ran a lot of these events as like four days, five days, and we had a lot of fun. But. But then I start thinking, like, could life be like this? Like, could I do this several months of the year? Could I set it up so a young person who wasn't necessarily sure they wanted to go to university. University nearly killed me. You know, I'm glad I survived it, but it was like, there was a number of things that I, you know, I got sucked into. I followed the path of the environment. I wasn't strong enough to go. Like, that's not for me. I want an. Another environment that a young man could choose to go into. Like to go to Bali Time Chamber versus going to these traditional education organizations and, you know, the other locations that we're working on. That's. That's what I want. And once you experience freedom, positive environment.
For me, this is just like, you have to see it.
Yeah, you can't.
You just have to see it. You just have to feel it.
Feel it. Yeah.
And then when you feel it, it's done. Like, you're never going to come back.
You can't. You can't unexperience it.
That's the thing.
You can't unexperience it. And and you recalibrate what a great life looks like. And we already saw two guys from our network who, Jonathan Uliados came to Valley Time Chamber. He had a family dwelling in his, in his family in Greece. Like worth, you know, on a small island, not worth too much, that needed work. Nobody really cared about it in the family, moved there. He's done it up, it's got a sauna, it's got a beautiful gym. He's already had his first event there because he saw, okay, well, this is a great life. Let's see what I can do. Less than 12 months after he went there, he's already got his first guests and he's like on fire with his.
Life, his content, his lucky, that is the standards. Just because he moved somewhere where the standards were higher and then he saw that, okay, like just put some pressure. So at the beginning it's not easy. Like you just feel some, a bit of pressure, okay, I could do this, I could do this and I didn't do it. And then just comes the motivation. And then you feel like, okay, okay, that's my turn. And now I can see it, I can feel it. I can, I can do it. That's beautiful to see. Like Jonathan. So I really like this, okay, really great guy.
And if, if enough we talk a lot about men. I, I like coaching men and leading men, but really it's about the man, his wife and, and the children, if they have it like the family unit. Families are a huge part of the vision and I just know how to work with the men. But if we're gonna build a future that we want, then we, you know, you know, we have to each decide the standards that we're willing to accept. And we're seeing in society now a lot of stuff that our ancestors would not have accepted. Even our fathers, our grandfathers, great grandfathers, like, things have changed a lot. And it's up to each individual to decide what, what level of freedom they want, what level, even the food quality, right? You go to the supermarket, your ancestors would not have eaten that stuff. A lot of it isn't even recognizable as food. And, and then they're telling us we can't, you know, we, we forgot how to grow food. There's no food growing in a lot of areas. And so it's, it's going to take a significant number of people deciding, okay, I want, I want more. I want to be athletic, I want to have a good financial position. I want to have a mission driven life where I'm building something. I believe in and, and I'm going to enjoy the process of learning. Like this is kind of the, the model, but the more men who choose that, the, the brighter the future can become. And you know, I don't know how far this can go, but you see philosophies like CrossFit or, you know, paleo diet or these things where they spread and a lot of people take on the philosophy of life. I think that's really the goal with the villages, is that it becomes more of a philosophy of life.
Yeah.
And then. And yeah, the physical locations give you that tangible experience of it. But we want to see people take it home and make it in their own way, like become whatever. They don't need to build their own time chamber, they need to build the life of freedom that they really want at strength.
Exactly. And that's why for me, this collaboration like needs to happen and going to happen and bringing this like this vision for me, the, the best way to help, the best way to, to find the ikigai. Also for me, like when I say the ikigai is Japanese concept, it's just mixing what, what you love, your passion with what you're good at. So usually it's linked because if you really love something, then you're gonna at some point be good at it and then be able to live with it. So make, yeah, make this like financial income and stable situation and help the world.
Yeah.
And for me that's this part, like this last part also. Like we've been through this, but then you cannot complete the whole thing. For me, if you don't help the world, if you don't add value. And that's the thing, like you can be financially successful, you can be a really good athlete. But if you're alone in your journey, if you're just thinking about yourself, your society, everyone can see that it just doesn't bring anywhere. Like you just do it for a few weeks and they're just like go in this mindset and then you feel sad instantly. I just feel like no motivation. Why am I doing this? Then you just start thinking about everything. But when you have a clear goal and then he helps people, you solve a problem in the world. That's what we, that's our biggest motivation. Just like solving a problem and adding value. And then when you do it and then he respects everything, it respects also the principles you have, the values of what you love, everything. That's where you find like for me, like the ikigai, the thing that your, your meaning in life. And for me this concept like that's why we bring this time chamber community. We try to bring everything together. It's just having link all these villages like the chamber has been one that, that blew up a bit through, through social media, through some, some things. And you have also the. All these villages. So in Montenegro you already have a villages village there. You have vanuat to have location. You can have a location in France and may have a location in Morocco. What's going to be the next location? It's going to be maybe in Mexico. Like there are plenty of opportunities that are going to come really soon. And the thing is to. For me the biggest message is let's connect in real life. Let's see each other. Let's leave some things and experience this. Like you said, we cannot unexperience before and something that nobody ever regretted. Even beginning of Montenegro village is going to be almost no electricity or something. Then like you said, like they have the experience. They love it. It's just something that's also life changing. Just because you feel it. Because you go there and you meet the guys and it's the feeling and then it's the meat and all the training together and the discussion that changes everything. So the environment is not even priority. Like you said, like Buddies has been like the premium thing because we wanted to propose something like this. There are different kinds of them, but just depends on the people. But everyone has an opportunity to go somewhere and experience this and that will be the vision. So everyone can at some point experience this and then climb the ladder.
So yeah, catching up with other men from the network locally, if there's someone who lives near you, if you're traveling. I'm traveling to Montenegro at the moment you're on the way there. It's great to spend time. We were planning to have a little bit longer, but the, I mean the goal for me is everywhere in the world there should be someone who I enjoy spending some time with, training with, that. Our families know each other's families. Our wives, you know, enjoy each other's company. Like this is freedom. This is another level of freedom when you have people in every country who you're connected to. So that's, you know, that's why we're excited to build this and, and meeting the other guys, you never, you never regret that, knowing even that, okay, maybe a year from now, maybe two years from now, maybe three months from now, I'm going to see someone face to face. Okay, I better be ready. I better be smart. I better be trained. I want to have good things to talk about. I want to be excited for my future. No one wants to be the. The man turning up in Bali time chamber. Fattest guy, poorest guy, you know, loneliest man. Like, this gives you something to aspire towards.
Like you said, we just. You just come here training with us and just did some muscle ups before.
Just.
Okay. Like, I just want to feel how it is because I know I'm gonna do some.
Yeah.
So I prepare and the same mindset for everything. Then, you know, you're going to be somewhere, so you. Oh, yeah. I'm just going to start maybe juggle. Maybe in one day I can just do something so I can show. And then with this attitude, with this mindset, then you just go so much faster.
Yeah, yeah. You're always getting better at something. I had a drama come to where we were in Dusseldorf. We had four of the men from the network come and train together in the park. And one of them is a professional drummer. He studied that in Netherlands. And he's teaching me some drumming. He's teaching me a beat, you know, right, right, left, right, left, left, right, left. And. And my son's watching him teach us, and I'm, like, struggling along a little bit with the drumsticks. And it's. I love it that my son is watching. Okay. Dad is willing to be the beginner at this thing. He's getting taught this thing from another one. He's kind of silently tapping away in the background and thinking about how it fits for him. But that's what I want. That's the environment that I want, where everyone brings something. And it's not just about training and money. Like, these are the first two pillars, but the. The third pillar is joyful genius. And within that, there's room for every kind of being good at stuff. Some people are really good at working with wood. You're really good at designing buildings and interior design and all this stuff. It's a. It's a superpower. Like, the places that you've built in Bali are just so beautiful. Men have these other abilities that often they downplay. They don't even tell me. Like, they're like, oh, yeah, I'm a concert pianist as well. Or I can sing. Or I'm like, bro, that's amazing. You know, I want to teach me something like, show my show my children. Yeah, it's bigger than just money and fit. Like, everyone wants to be jacked and rich, but really, like, if for your. For your children, for your family, for the village, we need all the Abilities. And I'm really excited personally for the next couple of years, like learning some more building, doing more stuff with hammer and nails and stuff with my, you know, my children, building a tree house and these kind of experiences. I never really had too much. My grandfather was a builder. I didn't grow up around him. He passed away when I was younger and I haven't, haven't developed that area of genius. I speak multi, you know, I speak Spanish and French and that's been a beautiful journey. And I want to continue with languages. But encouraging other men to get into languages, sometimes that can be a huge breakthrough for them. And when you're getting better as a, as a genius, you're, you're learning guitar. Finally. You want, you always wanted to do it, and now you can play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star all by yourself. It doesn't, you don't have to be the best you, you know, but you're getting better in that area. You're getting better athletically. It makes it a lot easier on the business side. And eventually as a father like you, you feel like you have more to offer and more ways to have fun together. So this is, yeah, this is the vision. It's not like it's a full stack, man. It's a renaissance, man. And not, not just about how much money you got. And okay, like it's, it can be very superficial.
You have in your system that you're working on is, it's my life. It's athletic, richer, smarter. That's what you call it.
Yeah. Mastermind is the collective component of it. And then athletic, richer, smart. It's playing on the Mars idea.
Yeah.
I think we can have, you know, heaven on earth is the thing that we should. How good can we make our own lives? Mars looks pretty to me. I don't think I'm ever going there. Probably I wouldn't be able to afford it. Maybe it's not even really ever going to happen. But we're talking about, okay, we need to be ready to inhabit Mars because we're destroying the Earth and everything. I, you know, I think we should build the best thing we can here. And not enough men and families have committed to, let's make this family unit, let's make this village as amazing as we can. It's not necessarily easy task. I understand. Like, you have the habits of doing things and I'm not perfect. Nobody's perfect. But moving in this direction has made my life much more meaningful. So it's. Yeah, Mastermind. Athletic, richer, smarter. But I put some more detail this is the book that I'm writing is like, the athletic is like magical athlete. So you can do stuff where people just go, wow. You know, you're doing back somersaults, you're doing muscle ups, you're snatching like all of the hardest stuff, go after the hardest stuff that makes you feel like, amazing. And other people look at it and go, wow, there must be something about him. If you want to be bodybuilder and have amazing body composition, cool as well. But build, build skills and build mobility and like, build, build a bigger picture of that. And then the, the mission, mission driven man is like, the richer is like, yeah, be rich, but be rich. Because you're on a mission, infinite mission. So you can't fix men or families. There's no like, end point. It's an infinite mission. There's no point where it's like, okay, yeah, all the men are good now and all the families are good and everything. Like, there's no, we don't win in this thing. It's infinite. To do that, you need to have a philosophy of money that works. So you have some money because it's not useful to be poor. You need to be able to make money, but you need to have a philosophy for keeping growing money. You need to make money. That might be with Ikago, it might be with your passion, but it might just be a job or something that you do and it's okay. And then contribution is within that as well. Like, what are you going to do with it? You have a reason to have $10 million or you're never going to have $10 million. Now.
I think the best way, exactly what you said, like, you don't win in this game. I think that's, that's something you need to think about. Like, more like. Because it's actually pretty deep when you think about it. Like, you. Because we all think about winning. Like, we all think about what am I going to do to have success. So, like, people look at me like, I did it. And, and when you really look at it deeper and you reproject yourself, like, you imagine like, like achieving everything you want. I think, is it enough? Like, is it? What's the next step? There is something else after. And this concept of like, this perspective, like, I'm not gonna win at this. I'm never gonna win. It's like. And I'm even gonna die at some point. That's the thing. So, so what's the point of it? And then you just, you just like, see this journey in a Way different way in different ways. And I feel that just changes everything. Like, the sooner you realize this, like, that you're not going to win the game. So why am I playing? And then the third pillar is joyful genius.
And the joy in life comes from pursuing beautiful things, doing beautiful things. So in the athletic journey, if you do it right, it brings you joy, it brings you satisfaction. You get in the moment with things.
You.
You. When you first five or juggle, when you first land a back somersault, you can't help but feel like, wow, that's. That's amazing. And you see it with babies. It's most clear when they stand. They're like, I'm standing.
It's like, wow.
And babies have this awe and wow all the time. And that's the true nature. I think that the dog also has that. And the, you know, the other animals, these sheep that they. They're naturally. They're not depressed, they're not anxious, they're not putting each other down or all this stuff I think is learned. I think our true nature is. Is joyful. And this is a deep philosophy as well, that I've been exploring a lot. But there's a lot of proof for it, and there's really good books and resources, and that's why we're here to kind of share these ideas. And everybody's being encouraged to endure more pain. Life is tough. And, you know, there's, okay, enjoy more pain, more and more pain. Go and run, get in the ice bath. Pain, pain, pain, pain, pain. But what if it's meant to be fun? What if it's. What if it's, you know, it's interesting, actually. What if it's you? What if you're really meant to enjoy the thing? Like, look at the child, look at the baby, even look at my. My boy. I can't motivate him. He. Because he's never been to school. I can't motivate him with fear and. And making him feel bad about stuff. He doesn't get motivated by it. He doesn't like me if I talk to him like that. That's it. He doesn't do anything that I want him to do because I tell him, you have to do this when it's fun. When I started to live like this with him, he learned to juggle. He learned the Greek Alphabet. He Learned to count 20 in Greek. He can say the Greek Alphabet like 4 seconds because he was having fun with it. And he progressed so much. He learned handstands. He can do it. He's done a handstand push up. He does it really fast like elastic. But he's touched his head on the floor and come back up. Yeah, he's seven and he never, he doesn't train gymnastics and stuff. He's not going through like a system. He's not doing taekwondo or something. He just does stuff that's fine fun for him. And if it's not fun, he won't do it. But they so enjoy. We got to the new apartment last night, 10 o' clock at night and they're just exploring.
Like I know this. Yeah.
And this is, this is, I think this is our true nature. Like children tell us the true nature but we get so much bag of as adults, we're carrying around with us of oh, this teacher told me this. So how.
I think that the main question would be like how do you keep a child like growing up and never lose this thing? Like how, how, what would be the system? Like he, he can stay so he can always look for fun and still kind of succeed in the life where he can, he can have the finance, he can have the good family, he can find the right people, have good relationships, have all these things while always staying in the fun.
Yeah, I mean this is what I live now.
Yeah.
Like I, a lot of, honestly most of the time I built my business, it wasn't in fun, it was in like, okay, I have to do this. And you know, I was often getting angry and frustrated but now I'm not living like that. And so if I can live like that, then others can live like that. And my, honestly my, my biggest role model is a 70 year old Australian man. You can see his content here in the, in the classroom as well. But I, he's never, he never misses a day. He's never sick, he's never down. He never, he's just living a good life. He loves growing his flowers because he connects with the flowers and he loves presenting the knowledge that he has and he presents it really caringly, lovingly. And he's tough and he asks hard questions and he challenges us as students. But he's always, it's always fun for him. You see, it's always a game. And yeah, it's, it's a different life philosophy.
So how do you see the other approach, the other extreme of like the, I would say the David Goggins method of like. Yeah, just stay in the pain, stay away uncomfortable, stay where it's really hard because that's where you, you build your character and everything. How do you approach this.
Yeah, it's still not comfortable, but. But you can enjoy it and even think about it with, like, the juggling. If we go out there and learn a new juggling skill, it's like, one that you haven't done yet. Do you have to get angry at yourself? Do you have to get anxious? Do you have to feel like, oh, Keegan's better than me at this. I'm a piece of blah, blah, blah, blah? Or can you just be like, all right, five minutes from now, I'm gonna have this. And you, let's go. Let's. Let's roll with it. Let's have fun. It's a skill in itself.
So for you, it's not just having fun of doing things. Nice. That feels nice. You're just doing hard things.
But while having fun, expand the comfort zone. I even practice it with swimming, holding my breath. So carbon dioxide. We know if someone just sucks in a bottle of carbon dioxide, you feel extreme anxiety instantly. This is what happens with carbon dioxide. And so there's all the stuff of breath training now and CO2. And I played with this, okay, like, because I'm reading these books about this philosophy and Buddhist philosophy and a lot of what has been done over the years in exploring philosophy, people dedicate their whole lifetimes to understanding their heart, connecting with their heart, and feeling joy. You see it in Bali, right? There's, like, many years of this feeling joy, and it's a skill to be able to feel it. So I. Practicing while I'm swimming, because I've been feeling it a lot with my son, just being in awe of, like, I love this little man. It's. It's so beautiful to have him in our lives. And you. You can. You can really. It makes it easier. The easiest way to feel this, like, real love, because I asked men, like, how much joy do you think you feel compared to what the baby's feeling? Or ask some men who don't understand about the babies. I ask about, like, compared to the ecstasy or, you know, like, if they've. If they've done that experience. I haven't had ecstasy, but so it's a skill to feel the joy, and then it's a skill of, like, when I'm swimming, I'm holding my breath, I'm taking as many strokes as I can, and I'm playing mentally with the game of, the more I feel like I need to breathe, the more joy and love I feel. And you can really play with it, like. And I can get 10 more strokes than if I'm like, stressed.
Yeah.
So it's, it's actually better to expand the comfort zone. And there are runners and people who are doing like, Goggins has had a lot of injuries and, you know, he's doing what he's doing. It's. It's his message and he's. It's his life.
So how do you see. To expand on this perspective on life is like, so for you, like, finding joy in all the moments, Is it this, like, the kind of your purpose, like, like what you're looking for? Because we, we can see also, like a lot of debates, like, trending thing about, like, it's not really about happiness, you know, it's about you don't want to be happy, you just want to accomplish. You want to achieve things.
Yeah.
So what is this kind of perspective in your.
Something for everyone to experience and think deeply on? I made $300,000 in a week and, like, not really had any joy from it, you know. And I've had all these different experiences of money and travel and everything that a man can experience. I've experienced many things. There's nothing better than joy and love. There's the David Hawkins work, the scale of consciousness. It's a scale. And there's low emotions, low emotional tone. And when you're living in those, we know that you're much more likely to get cancer and to get sick and your immune system doesn't recover. And there's data on all of this stuff now, the mood that you're in. So of course we know that you only have to walk down the supermarket aisles to know there's some incentive of some components of society that want people to live in fear, to live in shame, to live in guilt, and to. And to just want to endure more of that is what they want. They want men to just decide, okay, well, yeah, go do the shitty job, because that's what you have to do, and just accept that that's your fate in life.
Where.
A few hundred years ago, the shitty job was look after your sheep, make sure the fences are good, and do what you need to do. Like, if everybody in your village has a herd of animals, what are you scared of? When you're born as a child, there's nothing to fear. There's ultimate abundance. And that's the. This is the message. There's a guy named Fredo Donaldson who is really, really interesting work. But someone told him when he was young on an Indian reservation in, in the United States, on a Native American reservation, he said, there's nothing to fear. He said it to him like as a seven year old and it's like because he was scared of lots of things at the time and it always stuck with him. But yeah, when you start playing with these philosophies, it's a big shift. And we've been talking about a bit on the phone and yeah, there's been a big change for me. I'm not saying I'm. I'm this monk who never feels any frustration. I was frustrated yesterday. We took a detour like an hour and a half after we've been driving all day and got up at 6 in the morning. I think it's sales calls in the car with the children and crying and. But relatively the further you go with the joy stuff when things are tougher, you don't go down as much. I don't feel like I'm going to punch the wall anymore. Where I used to feel like I was going to punch the wall. Like I would get so much anger in my body and so you felt.
A really good improvement.
It recalibrates when the things are bad and it also, if you just let yourself go into it when you see the children are so happy and you think okay, like let's. I'm gonna have some of that today. Just the same way you choose from the menu at the restaurant. I'm gonna have some ice cream. Like let yourself have the joy. And yeah, I know some people this is a confronting message of like how would you do that even? And like it's. It's got to be bullshit.
I think it's a really interesting message because it just brings to a deeper understanding on like our philosophy of life is like for me I have these two things in my mind when you talk about this is like I can see the other opposite where it's like the Tates mentality or it's like more you're not here to have joy, to have nice moments or you here to achieve. You here to. To get some performance. You need to do something because that's what's gonna be. What's gonna meant more when you done with your life is because you achieve things.
He says that, he says that. But look at him.
Yeah.
Can you do what he's doing if. If you're feeling like that? Look at him. See what emotion is he in? Yeah, he's having fun, man. Yeah, he's loving it. Like he's always with his brother, he's with his buddies. It's just the messaging. He has to speak on that level because that's what Resonates, because that's what's. That's what schooling does to you. That's what. If you're watching every. What everyone else is watching, then the message of guilt, shame, fear, and just pulling you up into a little bit of courage and a little bit of, you know, willingness to try something new. That's. That's the shift that men are looking for. But if. When I look at him, I look at him as a role model of, like, he's loving his life, he's having all kinds of fun. Yeah. Yeah. And, you know, I don't see very many men that. That are doing that. They're not setting themselves, their lives up for joy. They're just making the decision, okay, I need to suffer. Okay, well, enjoy that. You know, like, why. Why would you choose that?
Yeah.
Like, if you could choose to be, okay, I'm going to be really good at living a life of suffering. Like, I understand why that would be a popular message. Because.
If you suffer means maybe you provide better for your families that you.
But do you. Like, what. Do you. You just teach your son to suffer? Yeah, my son doesn't want to suffer. He never got indoctrinated. And he's teaching me. Everyone thinks they're going to teach their children, but really, when you start to watch them, especially through this lens, you're like, oh, they. They're doing it right.
Yeah.
Not in every way. Like, I need to teach him some things, and he's watching me and he's learning from me. And he only gets to meet men who are jacked, entrepreneurial and. And now more and more embracing this joyful philosophy and, you know, making music, making art, making beautiful things, making gardens. I love the way in Bali they make these beautiful gardens. You know, you. The new places that you're building, Bali, Time Chamber. Bali really has that philosophy of, like, it has to be beautiful.
Yeah.
Switzerland, it has to be beautiful. And. But too much modern stuff. We. We don't have time for beautiful anymore. Yeah. We just want money. We just want it to be fast and easy.
That's fun. Because you said that's. That's something also I've been thinking about and I've been feeling a bit guilty about is the fact that sometimes I'm not pushing more because I. If I lose the joy, if I lose the thing that makes me happy every day, and I enjoy all of this. I just don't want to do it anymore. And I had some periods when I felt some guilt of, like, maybe I should just push more and just like, even if I feel shit, maybe that's where I should perform and I should stay. But I just. Like, in my mind it's more like, I'm sure there is a way to perform even more while being joyful, while having fun during the process. So what am I not thinking? Harder to find a way to perform even better while being in. In a better position, in. In a state I. I want to stay. And. And that's why. That's what pushed me to do all these concepts, like the. The time chamber thing, why I didn't do just like an Airbnb before you come and just doing. Play it easy and just doing the business thing. No, because it's more fun if it's something that has meaning, if it's something that's. That I like same for the villages, for everything. Just like, it's more fun because I know it's gonna be with friends and then we're gonna meet there and it's gonna be fun.
Yeah.
So at the end, you, even if you don't realize it, sometimes you just. You're just already playing this game.
Yeah, 100%. But if you're not aware of it, then you're gonna mostly be like. The people who've studied this stuff and read books about it, they say that generally you have almost no change. If you read the David Hawkins book, he says that he cut his thumb off and it didn't bleed. There's a lot of stuff when you go into this that is mystical and it's deep. And the Joseph Chilton Pierce, you know, I gave you a couple of those books, that stuff, it's completely mind blowing, mind altering, and it doesn't fit into the Western paradigm of success, but it fits into every other culture's version of success and even older stuff in the Western culture.
So, yeah, that's interesting because also I've been raised also a bit in this mindset of like, you have to walk, you have to. And if you're not having pain, if you're not sad when you walk, you're not walking. You know, it's a bit this, like the old school way. It's like I remember like my father, even if he's not like this, actually, he's same like me. He just wants to have fun, everything. But he's been raised also like this, where if. Just telling me, like, if you like smiling, if you are having fun doing this, that's not work. Just. Just do more because at some point you're gonna stop smiling and then it's.
Good you know, work faster. So it hurts.
Yeah, exactly. It's a bit. This mindset. Yeah. Yeah.
But, yeah, it's. I think you see in Bali as well, like, you guys, you know, how do they. How do you think they feel about.
Yeah, they. They taught me a lot also with the. Just the way they live. It's. We talked a lot about this, but seeing them not having much, not worrying about anything and just having fun. Just because they go walk. They're going to build a wall today. Just. They don't even know what they're going to do tomorrow, but today they bring a wall and they have friends and they smoking and they just. And they're just having fun. And they always make jokes. Just going to know someone is going to do something. They're just going to push the other ones, have fun. And you see them all day. It's like, wow, like, how they do this. Like, if I was in this situation, I would be stressed. I would be really anxious. I would be like, oh, why is going to be too much? I also think it's a lot of depending on culture. Like European people, Asian people, like Balinese people, African people, American people. We all have different mindset, also different history. We don't operate the same. But that's why you can learn when you can meet all this culture and just see, like, okay, what's the. What's the good part of each? And then you can, you can play with all of this.
But when, yeah, when you get to this point of freedom that we. We got to. Then you get to choose. And for me, it's like, I want the best of the Western culture. And I still love a lot of things. I love being in Europe and seeing all the old buildings and thinking about what was the philosophy that built these, you know, the castles. And some of it's for war, but some. A lot of it's for beauty. And these beautiful buildings in the cities, the underground infrastructure and things was built a very long time ago. I love this, and I think it's good. The analytical mind, the science. But then there's this other side of connection to the earth and connection to nature and connection to each other that other cultures are doing better. And it's. Do you have to choose? Like, what. What's the best that we can do?
This vision is like, because you. For me, it's exactly the same choice that you showed me at the beginning is like, when you see juggling and doing the handstand things like, do I have to change?
Choose.
And now I've learned That, no, I don't have to choose, actually. So there is a way, maybe if. Now I cannot find anyone that's doing this. I'm sure there is a way because it happened in many other parts before, so why not this one? And I think that's what we try to create also. Just try to create this system where anyone can see this door and say, okay, that's the opportunity to live this life.
Yeah. And it's not to say as I'm being. I hope I'm being transparent here and like, I do not have all the answers. I was separated from my wife three years ago because we. We weren't in harmony together and we couldn't work it out and we didn't want to be miserable in front of our children anymore and fighting.
Like.
I've been searching. I've been. I've been searching for the solution with my training and my injuries, and I found a lot of solutions with that. I've been searching for how to make money and. And this is the next big search which maybe could come first because children already have it. Yeah, it's like this, being able to enjoy the learning process. A lot of men are so scared of learning because it was a rough way that the schooling system is set up. Even those who get the good grades, it's still all about measuring and grading. And it can be really difficult to decondition yourself, to not always want the approval of the teacher. And did I get this right? And is this the right way to do this? Is there a right way to do Bali time chamber or the sales page or the. There's no right way. Right. You put the best thing forward that you can imagine and you test it and you see what it does, and then you do the next one after that. If it's something's not as good as you want it to be, then you look to change it. You listen to feedback. But too many men are paralyzed. And that's what, you know, what you have here. A safe environment where you can share your ideas, you can share your vision, you can test things, and no one's going to tell you that's wrong or you're stupid. We're going to give feedback if it's needed. But when you have that safety, especially for social media, when guys know, no matter how this reel does, if I get hate or if it gets a lot of views, I'm still going to have people that support me. Especially for the single guys, it's really important to have this brotherhood where, you know, no matter what. Okay. I can go to Bali, everything's going to be good again, you know, you've got a hard reset for life.
That's something I've read on book on, on children I really liked. Just helped me a lot to understand about human psychology. But like you have to have this foundation safe to be able to explore. And that's with children. It's like if they don't feel good at home, if they don't feel protected, they're never gonna go out, they're never gonna play with kids and just be this like go on an adventure and just want to find. Because they don't even feel good here. But at the other opposite, if you feel really good here, you know that I can go, I can play with these kids. Even if it doesn't work, I just come home and with mommy it's really good, I'm fine, so I can come back. But if you don't have this, then you're stuck because you're just scared of going because. And at the same time this is the only option you have to go, you have to explore other stuff but you cannot because you don't have the foundation of love, of support and all that stuff. And it works. It's not only for children, it's for everyone.
Yeah, this is the whole idea of the children pierce progression through the matrixes. So matrix means womb. The first matrix is the real womb in the inside of the mother. The second matrix is with the mother primarily, but also with the father. And then you go into the earth matrix and you need to understand how the earth works and the child by the time they're 11, 14, they should know how to survive on their own. If they don't know how to survive, if they don't have some skills, then they're going to feel more anxious about going into puberty and adulthood and being a parent. And so that's what you have. You have 30 year old men today who they don't know how to survive yet. And so they still stuck in this, this childish kind of values. So you need to, so like we, it's important to solve the money thing and have access to, to land, resources, financial position because without it it's very difficult to explore this more life philosophy, spiritual stuff. You're just like, yeah, this sounds good Keegan, but like I'm in debt and I got no idea how to get out of it. Well, you can't get out of it because you, you can't get into a creative state because you're paralyzed by anxiety. So how Are you going to create anything? When you go and live in Perth for how long were you there?
For like, eight months?
I think you experience all this freedom and then you don't really have that fear. When you go back to Bali and you start, you build a gym and then you build this thing on the side of the hill in the middle of Bali where no one really goes, and you're just like, yeah, well, if it's, you know, whatever, you know, like, you're not really scared, like, you're doing your best, but you have to have some. You have to have some of that.
That feeling of, like, yeah, it's fun to see it like this also, because when you see it from outside like this, it sounds a bit crazy. It's like, oh, yeah, just. Just build here, let's go here. But when you're in it and you really do it with your intuition and your feeling and, like, being joyful every day and just trying to find what makes sense now, then you don't realize what you. What you can do in just a year or two. So sometimes for me, it's hard to even explain. Like, it's like, how did you build a time chamber? It's like, yeah, I don't remember. Like, because now if I had to do it again, it would be scary maybe, you know, because I'm not in it. I'm. I'm somewhere else. I'm doing other stuff. So it's just because it was the right moment, the right time. It was like, okay, it makes sense right now. So that's what I'm not pushing. Everyone say, okay, you have to build your time chamber, and it's the only way to make money and to succeed. Everything just like, you have to find the right thing that makes sense for you right now. And maybe for me, it's super scary right now, but for you, because you are in the right moment at the right time, this feels just fine. It's just like, because you are in Japan right now and you have. You get to know a good guy that can know this guy and can put you in some business or something, it's fine. If I have to go to Japan and do it myself, I'm not gonna do it. But it's just like, do with what you have. So that's how I've been raised also a lot. And that's something I keep with me is the do with what you. With what you have at the moment you are in, I think is the most important. And yeah, just focusing on this, I think is the most important for me.
Yeah, we all have opportunities. The. It's the internal journey. Nobody is lacking any opportunities in their environment. In the modern world, two degrees of separation from anyone. The only journey is the internal journey. Do what you're proud of. Move towards the thing that you know you need to move towards. Move away from the things that you know you need to move away from. And having brothers around you, having the support of other people, expecting you to do well is essential component of this. It's the same in sports as it is in life. You don't get to be a top level football player, never playing against other top football players or playing with them. You just can't do it. And it's the same for life. Like you. You get more out of yourself if we didn't meet, you know.
Yeah. It's crazy to think, you know, that's.
Like for me too, Like I'm not saying it to just to one way. Like every. To everyone that I work with. I always learn so much as well. And that's the fun of it. That's what I want for all men. I think we all should be getting this thing of.
And it's true that maybe the fun that you're talking about, like the, the joy that you feel then you always have it when you share it. It's like when it's with other people. Yeah. At the end it's like same with children, with your relationship, with your family or everything. You always, you always have to share it to, to make it count. Yeah, a bit.
Yeah, for sure. It's so much. I think it's the. Into the Wild. The movie.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
I don't know the one in English. I have that one in my, in French, in my head.
Yeah. It's only real when it's shared and.
Okay.
Yeah, we're communal beings for sure. Like it's. You can try and teach yourself to be happy in a cave somewhere on your own, but you're fighting against the nature of, of a man. And we're meant to have these connections. And it always. It feels good. It feels good when you do podcasts, when you train together. It's how it's meant to be. And people are being again, conditioned. Oh, I'm going to be a lone wolf. I'm going to work it out on my own. I have to work it out on my own. It doesn't. I don't meet any successful men who feel like they did that. They either have a business partner or they met this guy. They had that mentor there's always the story of the others who were a key part in it. They're in it with their brother or whatever it is.
So an interesting question I like is because you've met many successful guys, like, you've been with Ben Patrick that now has a huge business, big life, achieved a lot of things, helped a lot of people. You've met many other guys that did crazy things for you. What is the common traits between these guys? Like, what makes them follow the right path? What makes them, like, really achieve what they wanted to do on the other part? What is the thing that's just keep them in. In the problem that it keep on happening? Like, the common trait of this guy.
I think it's the willingness to test and the ability to see the next step. If you see the next step and you go for it. We did that other podcast, maybe we can link it in here as well. You were talking about, just take the next. The next step. Everyone knows the next step. Like, God will tell you. It's somewhere within you to know, okay, you just need to do that thing. You don't always know why you need to do it. You don't always feel confident about it, but there's always a next step to take. And when Ben, we started talking about being ready to go on Joe Rogan, when he had, you know, no audience and he hadn't been on any podcasts yet, it was just me and him doing stuff like this. And he was like, yeah, okay. And, you know, like, we were. Well, I was talking like, this is going to change. This can change the way the world trains. Like, look at the results that you've had. And. And he was like, yeah, and where a lot of men are and like, no, no, they can't. They can't imagine it. And oftentimes, like, that's why the training system is so challenging in a way. Like to learn a handstand for a man in their 40s or 30s, like, it's a significant investment even in your 20s. But when you do it, then you're like, okay, and people are going to ridicule you for it. That's. That's what's good about it. Someone's going to, oh, you're trying to be a clown now. And, oh, you. You want to be like a little girl at the playground with your handstands. But then once you're good at it, you get respect and people ask you, oh, how do you do that? And they copy you. And you can make, you know, you can make it a business but the willingness to, to test the idea, I think is a, is a big thing. You have to be persistent. Yeah. The, and the, the other, like the, the. The key thing is like being able to get a message across that moves others as well. Like this is a master ability of all the guys who've done really well is like able to use your words in a way that moves others to.
Action, to speak well and experience. Yeah.
Yeah. You can call it like sales skills if you want to, but it's like recruitment ability. So when you, you energize others with your words, you can express a concept.
But it's also a skill, I think, that you have when the vision is clear. That's the thing. Like you get it. The clearer the vision, the easier it is to speak about it. And that's often what I work on on my projects is like I have a vision, but sometimes it's not really clear and I just try to explain. Doesn't get right. Like I cannot really explain it. Like I want.
Yeah.
And it's just for me just means I need to work more on this vision. Again, like it's not going to work yet. And then when at some point he. It's really well done and you worked on your subject and you, you master it, then when you speak about it, it needs to be simple and everyone understands.
Yeah. Yeah. Like I'm testing the new training system stuff that I'm talking to you about. I'm just talking to you about at the moment. It's starting to come out like, what could this be?
Yeah. It's not even when you explain it, you like, okay, now I understand more my concept because of you explaining it.
Yeah. And you're giving me feedback of what you're understanding from it. And this is, this is how it grows. Yeah. The. These I, I believe every man can create something great. They're not necessarily the initiator of the idea. Some men are better at taking the idea, which is already there, and, and refining it or seeing the problems. You look at another business and you go, oh, I see what you're doing. It's really good. But let's. We can double it by doing these things and making the experience so much better. We each have different abilities, I think, like different natural tendencies with that. But I don't meet men who have no potential. I just meet some men who aren't sometimes willing to do the new thing. They're just too paralyzed by fear, anxiety, fear of being judged, too distracted. Can't get a half an hour, an hour of their own day. Like, who are you? If you've 16 hours, you're awake and not one of them is for you. That's not.
What do you feel about this? Because sometimes we say that some people are kind of born leaders, you know, they are the creative one. They want to. And other people are more the one who needs to, just to repeat, don't have any responsibility, they feel, but are just a employee whole life doing this. What's. What's your vision on it?
Society probably needs this in a way as far as like jobs go.
Yeah.
But there's nothing to stop the man who's working at the coffee shop from going home and being an amazing singer or painter.
Or do you think, like, we all need this creative part in our lives.
Everyone has genius. Like if you're, if you're. Yeah. There are a few people who have like serious disability. Something went wrong, they got an injury, whatever, that's different. But everybody else, there's an area that you. Everyone can get better at everything. If you go from being able to only play 2, 3 chords on the guitar to being able to play 6, it's more fun when you go from only speaking a few words in Spanish to being able to have a little conversation. It's more fun. And it's so much more fun to have that personal experience and the dopamine of the real lived experience than to watch it on Instagram, to watch someone else's experience. It's more fun to be the podcast than to watch the podcast. And I want everyone here, like come into the world of creating, putting your ideas out there.
That's something I've been thinking a lot about because also I know that I feel the most excited and the more alive just when I'm creating. It's really the creation that like I want to bring something to earth that didn't exist before or just bring something same like time chambers. Like, I want to bring a concept. I want bring something that nobody has seen before in its way. You know, it doesn't need to change the whole world, but you just want to add something. I've always been passionate to like, okay, I can do same like this guy. But I'm going to add this and then it's going to be way better and, and just this thoughts of, of making something better that didn't exist.
Yeah.
For me is like, oh yeah. That's just gets me so much passion and excitement and I. I was just wondering if it's. Some people are like this and some people have different minds of things or are we all like this? Are we all like. We all want to create and just bring something.
My experience, everybody has that. It's more just whether you can believe in it long enough. You suspend your disbelief for long enough to test if you can do it. And not necessarily with artistry of music or art or painting or something, but some area of genius, something beautiful. Everybody sees that. Like we naturally see beauty. Everyone looks at the, you know, you look at something that's been very well put together, a castle or a painting or a baby, and it's, it's beautiful. They used to paint babies a lot. And it makes sense that we're meant to be doing those things because we, we see it instinctively. But then so much of the modern world is not done for the sake of beauty. If you look at the houses that Rudolf Steiner designed, Rudolf Steiner built an agriculture system called Biodynamics. The biodynamic wines and cheeses always win the competitions. And it works with the movement of the planets and all kinds of stuff. But in terms of the data, it's better. He was a man from this region. They had their villages, they would get together, they would lecture each other about systems of farming and thinking and out of body experiences. And you can go and look up these lectures. It's the villagers concept. They would have these big manor houses, they would have their food and their things organized and they would go and meet with each other and share big ideas. This, this for me is, is what we should be doing. And I don't meet men who don't have something to offer in that. I meet men who have been downtrodden and they think badly of themselves to such a point that they, they can't really imagine how they could do it. But I was that man. I was broke, I was sick. You know, in my 20s I never made any money. I didn't think my future was going to be that good. I just was hoping I'd get like a little bit of land and a wife and I couldn't imagine that I would ever get to the point that I am now.
That's the saddest part. I feel like I always find it so sad when I listen to people that lost like this hope, lost their creativity. I feel like when you lose the creativity where you don't want to bring something, it's like, wow, that's, that's really. It just like makes me really sad to see that you lost this. It's like you, you cannot lose it. Like if you want to live, you cannot live like this, like, yeah, but.
The inverse is like when you get the spark back in someone and you see, yeah, they just sold a ten dollar program and they're so excited because they sold their first thing. If you can sell a ten dollar program, that is worth more than earning ten thousand dollars at McDonald's or, you know, working a laboring job. Because with that $10 thing that you sold, if you can sell one, you can figure out how to sell 100. If you can sell 100, you can figure out how to sell a thousand. If you can sell $10, you can figure out how to sell thousand dollars. And all that happens, in the process, you become more valuable. And that's the way all the men that I work with make more money. And people are negatively conditioned about money and that means they're negatively conditioned about value. And who are you if you don't want to put more value into the world or become more valuable, like to race to the bottom at that point? Yeah, I've been infected by that stuff as well. I was like kind of thinking a lot of communist and social things. And there's good elements to some of that thinking of like, let's look after everybody.
Like, it's natural to think a bit like this at the beginning, but you cannot think it too long.
Just, yeah, the individual has to get better.
Yeah.
But you have to also care about the society. It's not capitalism or socialism, I don't think is the, the best way. Because in your family it's not capitalism. It's not like, okay, you have, you, you get what you earn and I get what I earn with my brother, with my, you know, with my parents. Like, that's not how it works. So nobody has truly communist or truly capitalist values. But yeah, this thing of the man finding his power, it's such a beautiful thing when, when you go from. He doesn't really think much. And then six months later he's like, I think I want to have a family. And then six months later he's like, I think I want to have a village. And then six months later he's like, just made a thousand dollars.
It's funny how everyone resonates really deeply with this because every time we did the event with the people, every time you speak, you can speak about training sort of thing make sense. Great, great. And then when you talk villages, it's like, yeah, something switch on. And it's like, I feel like everyone resonates with this and has this deeply. It's like every time even successful people, everything at the end when they have a lot of money, say, well, what would you do with all of this money if you have even more every time it's related to. I would create a community. I would create a village with my vision of the world. Or it's like I would share, I would create something, I would bring something to life with the people I love and try to bring this vision to reality. And that's what's powerful, I feel, with the villages, because it's. Everyone is connected to this. Like you. You can be. Maybe when I do, I don't know, handstand, push up stuff, it's like, yeah, it's not my stuff. I prefer bodybuilding or anything. It's fine. But villages have.
It's almost everyone.
It's crazy.
Yeah. And everyone used to live in them and everyone used to feel, you know, 95% of people lived in villages. 95% of people work for themselves. It's all new. All this way that we're doing things now and we're told that it's the best time ever. But I'm not so convinced.
Yeah.
So the, the game is not. I don't want everyone to believe my philosophy. I'm not wanting to be the king of any of this stuff. What I want is I'm going to share my life philosophy. I'm going to share what I've lived, I'm going to share what I've learned, and I'm going to ask you, what's your life philosophy? What have you lived? What have you learned? What are you doing with your money? If it all goes to plan, what. What solution are you going to build? And I'm going to support you as much as you can. As I can. And. And if your ideas, in sharing these ideas, especially when you're at the villages and you're having the conversations, then it all evolves. Like, the reason my life philosophy is evolving because I get to have a lot of these conversations. And, you know, especially Paul is a very, very smart man. He introduced me to all kinds of systems of psychology and thinking that I couldn't believe that I didn't know about it. Like, I've read thousands of books. I really like reading. I've read a lot since I was, you know, young. And he introduced me to all these stuff. And I'm like, how did I not hear about this? Like, where did this come from? And then he puts me on the podcast and they've got like 80 views. And I look at. I'm like, this is the best podcast I've ever seen. This is the most important message, like, and nobody's. Nobody's looking at it. So, yeah, you know, the. I think the best is still out there, and I think that's the best way to look at the future. Ben Patrick always says to me, like, we're just getting started, like, 10 years from now. Like, he always is always saying, like, we haven't really started yet, but, like, this is going to be really good. That's how you should live. Like, yeah, the village.
And just the idea of having this, like, you know, the idea of having, like, a podcast somewhere in YouTube that's like, answer your questions and that's. You have to find it. You have to find the guy to speak to. And, like, the message you kind of say that I think is really powerful is like, there is the answer somewhere. It is somewhere, like, 100%, 100%. There is an answer of, like, many, many problems that we don't even think there is an answer possible or anything, but there is one. And just if you convince yourself and you know that he proved me wrong so many times, I can trust him, like, there is an answer somewhere, then he just brings the spark. Like, you're like, okay, okay, okay, I'm going to find this.
Yeah, yeah. Because all the doubts come out. Oh, how can you travel? Your children are 10 and 7. Like, what school are they going to? How can this even work? How are you going to do this and that? And of course we can. Everyone can come up with doubting questions, and there's some value to that. It's fine to look at the side of, like, what if it doesn't work? But what if it does? You know, what if. What if you really build a system that has a significant positive impact and it's way better than what I would have lived otherwise. And from my experience, that's what I'm living.
Yeah, yeah. It means taking risks also. It's how I like to live also. It's just like when you present a situation, like, there is maybe an answer or something. I, for me, just deeply in me, I just love the fact that it's like there is a tiny chance, but if he walks, it's gonna be amazing. And it's always this thing I want to go. It's like, same with the Time Chamber.
We wrestled hard with Time Chamber with Bali. Time Chamber.
Right, Exactly. We were talking every day out of nowhere. It's like. Like, there is really low chance it works because, like, I mean, like, you need to bring a lot of people. You need to Spread the message. It's like, it's really just for people like us. Are they gonna resonate with this message? But if it works, then we have all the guys like us together and we can meet and we can do this. And that's enough. That's enough to say, okay, let's just try it. Because why would I do. If you have this vision, why would I do something less good than this? Like, why would I do something that's. Because even if you succeed, you're not gonna be happy. Because it could have been better. It could have been something way more.
Yeah. You weren't that excited about the putting it on Airbnb and tourists coming and I was just thinking like, yeah, I imagine like 7 year old people coming down and their luggage, you know, like it's along the scooter road and everything. I'm just thinking like, I wonder man, I wonder. We're just talking and talking and it seems crazy for me is this.
The most important thing is just to have this projection, like really see if everything is going right. Everything cannot be more perfect than this. What's the end result? And it needs to be something crazy because if it's. Everything is perfect, then it needs to be amazing. Something you cannot even imagine. But if it's not even this, like, okay, yeah, I can have some income. It's passive income, so I don't work too much. And it's fine like this. Like it's not enough to do this.
This is enough. Yeah, that's. That's it, man. Like have, have a plan A where if it goes to plan, it's going to be amazing.
Exactly. Yeah. This thing like most people just have like the plan A is not enough. No. And then they're always thinking about plan B and C and, and even if the plan A, the. So you need to have at least. Even if it doesn't work, like if you have this vision for me, if you give everything, if the vision is powerful enough that it pushes you to really dream about this at some point it's going to happen for sure. Like if you, if you give on 10 year, 10 years of your life to, to make it and you didn't.
Really know maybe like you didn't really know how to market it. You didn't have, you didn't make.
No clue. I was the kind of. Because that was really scary discussion with you because I feel like I was thinking a lot about this, but I was in my mind, I was like, yeah, no way. Like that's too complicated. That's Too, too risky. It's not possible. And the fact that you come and say, yeah, that's. You can definitely do it. Like, am I being stupid not even trying? And then you try and then you go. And then I'm like, okay, now that was time. Like, now I have to do it. And then it's a lot of pressure, but now it's just like pure happiness. Pure, like, just really proud about this. And now it just like sets the standard higher. And now everything I'm doing is related to this. So now I said, you cannot unexperience it. Like, you did this. So now I cannot try to go on project that's less than this. So that's. That's amazing to keep with you after also.
And in the first event, you had mostly people you already had some contact with in France.
Yeah.
And then there was men from Uncommon Success. There's some guys from, from my network that were. And so the first one, and you got Luke there, filmed it. But even by then you started to nail the social media content and it started to pop. But leveraging your existing network to support the start of a project, I think is something that people underestimate the value and the importance of. Like, everything I do, it starts with, okay, let's do this between us and let's. Let's learn from it. And then we'll. Yeah, we'll get the proof of it.
That's how we work at the beginning. Because all the guys I got on the first camp, it was message to them. It wasn't any promotion or anything. It was just like, okay, I'm going to try to speak with this guy because I think he's going to be good and he fits in the group and he's great and just like a friend or someone interested. Okay, you want to come? Yeah, I give you a discount. Is the beginning, like just, just come. And, and even right after, like the months after, because we had big expenses to make the first one happen. And so it was a bit risky. And then right after, it wasn't like starting directly. It wasn't like, boom, it works. So it was a few months where, like, are we going to make it or no, like, is this something pretty risky? And then it's like even thinking about, okay, if it doesn't work, I can sell, I can do this and maybe I can. Just trying to think about the plan B. I was like, okay, okay, don't think too much about the plan B. Stay, stay on it. And then at some point just poof, like some, some of the right people can like listen the message they resonate with them, they share with the other ones. And then you say like, oh, I want to come, I want to come. And then just explode. And it's crazy to think about this because it's just been one year now. Like exactly in June. It was June last year when we do the first camp and we are in June now. So it's exactly one year. And it's changed. Everything changed. Like my whole life, the whole life of my family, the. Even our experiences. Everything's change everything in one year. So you think, okay, maybe in one year nothing can happen.
Yeah, this, this is to think that your life is going to be similar to what it is now 10 years from now. Like why, why would you want. You know, and for, for you as well. For us, like it's going to be very different 10 years from now. And that's the fun of it. We don't know exactly, but we underestimate how much change is going to happen. Think back of what your life was like 10 years before now. Yeah, it's like completely different world. I was working full time in professional rugby league. I hadn't, didn't have a business yet, hadn't done any of this stuff. And so you can accumulate so much experience and skills, make contacts, time. It gives you huge opportunity but it's being willing to.
But all of this happened like all of this happened because of relation with other people. It's always the foundation of everything. Nothing could happen if it was just me hustling up in my apartments. Okay, I'm gonna make it and I'm gonna. I would never happen.
You might have got a big YouTube or something. You see this with guys as well. They get like a million followers on YouTube but they're still just living at their parents place. Like they didn't. Where if you get it to a million but you, you go see the world and you, you're connected with a lot of other people then you every way.
What would be the, the practical advice you would give to guys that at the beginning of this journey they just start thinking about oh yeah, maybe I could. Yeah, get out of the system a bit, make a bit more money and maybe do all of this? I want to train a bit more. I have some goals. I want to do a muscle up, I want to do this. What do you think? Like the, the key points to, to be strict on.
Yeah, the biggest thing is to get connected to other people who are doing it. Like join a squad. Like if you want to be Good. At Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Go to a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym if you want to be free and strong.
Yeah.
Travel the world. Join a group of men who are free and strong and travel the world. It's. It's simple. The connection thing is the biggest, the biggest thing then taking daily action. Train every day, even. It doesn't matter whether it's the best for your physiology or whatever. But, you know, don't worry about the science. Just train every day and take steps towards the. The thing that you want to do. Do things that you're proud of every day. And maybe you're going to miss some days at the start, that's okay. But if you have the philosophy of doing it every day, then your bad week is going to be four sessions where other people are aiming for four sessions and they're getting two.
Yeah, exactly.
And then you need to get new knowledge specific to the goal that you have. These are the three things. Connection, action, new knowledge. You have to have new knowledge specific to what you want to do. So if you need to learn, revile or Instagram posts, like, study what Nico's done. Like, look at the scripts, look at the vision, study it in detail. Like, really look at it through the lens of the creator. If you keep getting the new knowledge specific to the task that you want to achieve, then you'll, you'll get there. Like, it's all out there, but without the connection and the action, the knowledge becomes masturbation. Too many people are stuck and. Oh, yeah, I watched a million hours of stuff on YouTube. How's your business? No, I haven't launched anything yet. I haven't created anything. Yeah, it's not, it's not gonna work.
Yeah, I, I love the, what you said. Like, the everyday thing. Like, even if it's not the most efficient, I don't know, maybe, like, there is a better way to do it if it's three times a week with this, I don't care. Like, because if it's this, there is a higher chance that I'm not gonna do it. So it's not even worth it. Like, I prefer doing it every day, even if it's not the optimal thing, the 100%. The thing is I have high, high probability that I'm gonna stick to it if it's every day. And so for everything, if it's just okay, learning, stretching a bit, learning juggling, just do a bit every day. Like, just commit to 10 minutes every day. That's why I train like this also train just 15, 20 minutes a day. But the fact that it's every day, I know I never miss a session. I know at the end of the year I did most, I did more than most of the guys. That or doing two hour sessions three times a week. Just because I've never missed a session. And for everything, I feel like the everyday thing is pretty powerful. It's just saying. Okay, okay. It's easy to do. Like now you want to just start training. Okay, just said I'm gonna do 50 push ups every day. If you just do this like simple, you just need floor, just go on the floor, do 50 push ups every day. Then at the end of the year, if you only did this, I'm sure, I'm sure your physics changed you. You can do them faster now you interested in doing more. And it's just the starting point. It's just like you've been doing this every day, but in just two, three weeks you're gonna start thinking, okay, now I'm gonna add some pull ups. I'm gonna add something. And you were in it, so it's done. You did the hardest part. Yeah.
And you can add the other thing on the side of that. If you want to learn guitar or.
Exactly.
Or the language, practice it. Either side of your training, something that you already know that you do, put at least one hour aside for yourself every day. If you can't put one hour aside for yourself, then you really need to figure out something in your life. Take some. And I understand if you're working a job and you have a family, I understand I've been in this position of working full time with a child and I built my business during that time. So I fully understand that it's a big commitment. But you have to do it. And when you do, then you're proud and the rest of your day is going to be more fun as well. And yeah, it's, it's also a perspective.
On, on the life. Because sometimes the excuse is pretty easy to have when you still stay in the same lifestyle that you have, like in the same norms, in same rules, you follow the same rules so you think you don't have time, but then if you really open your mind and you change the rules, I don't know, it's like instead of going to do the haircut and spend €20 every week or something, I'm going to just shave my head in the morning. And it just, just doesn't take any time. I'm saving the €20 and many things like this instead of doing what everyone Is doing. Getting the haircut, going to the cinema or just doing the entertainment that everyone is doing, or watching a movie at night before sleeping, because everyone watch a movie or something. Just. Just remove everything. Everything that's not useful. And then at the end of the day, you feel, oh, whoa. That's actually a lot of things I can do. I can save money. I can. And for the beginning to start, that's the. The best way to do it.
Yeah. Yeah. I speak to a lot of men who don't have a thousand dollars to their name. It's a thousand dollars in haircuts. If you get a 20 haircut.
Yeah.
Each week. So many guys have these fades and haircuts that require them to get them. You know, every three days they're getting a haircut, but then they've got no money. They've got nice, nice clothes and.
Yeah, exactly.
But then they can't afford to have a family, and so they, you know, they can't even consider having a family or. Or they feel like they can't do the job the way they want to.
And it's for me was this. Like, I started this, like, have actually long hair now it's a bit longer. Usually I shave a pretty bald head, but it's like a habit I had at the beginning. It's like when I had no money and I was in Bali living with little. I thought, okay, like, if I can save money on the haircut, if I can save money on the clothes, like, even the shorts I had, like, people are making fun of my stories. I have them for, like, maybe four or five years. They have all. It's like. And now I have the money to get really nice shorts, but I don't know. I like my shots fine. I lived like this for years, and, like, I. I don't want to really change. It's fine. It works for me. Yeah, me.
Me too.
Yeah. Everything works like this. So why would I. I don't guess nice shorts or, like, leaving suits all day. If I. If you walk like this, it's fine.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's. It's for each person to decide. You know, it's you. If you want to dress in nice clothes, good. But solve the thing. Create a solution.
Yeah, you do it. If you have time. If it's like, at the end, you're not. For me, you're not starting of, like, getting in depth or anything to just look good and show people that you look good. If you didn't even start the. Trying to do something with your life, like, you're not gonna fake it before. And then I. I don't like this habit of, like, fake it until you make it. You know, it's like you kind of lying to yourself, lying to everyone, hoping that at some point you're gonna make for me. Just like, I don't like this. It's not honest. Don't like this. Good. Was a big discussion.
Big discussion. Looking forward to having more of these discussions in the physical locations, in person. It's fun to have them on live calls as well, but it's always going to be better in person. So, yeah, great to have you, have you here for this conversation and look forward to following your journey, seeing your progress, hearing your stories. Maybe we podcast together one day.
Yeah, for sure. Last question. Last question to end the podcast. Just a nice one. I like. I didn't ask you this one, actually. It's just if you. Classic question. It's like if you could speak to your younger self, maybe around 18, 17, when you finish high school in this, like, hard situation. I don't depend on your age, but just like when you start to figure out you want to do something different, but you're not sure at this age what would be like, the. The thing you would give to your younger self. If you have to give really quick advice, like one thing to focus on quick.
There's nothing to fear.
Nothing to fear. That's a good one.
I was very, very fearful, anxious, a lot of things. And there's nothing to fear. Just create. It's only the internal journey that matters. Don't be fearful of anything outside.
That's a great one. Thank you. Yeah, I think they can take this one.
Thanks, bro.
At home.
