The Toughest 3-Ball Drill Made Simple | Mills Mess in 5 minutes.

Learn Mills Mess, the hardest three-ball juggling pattern, in two ways: the traditional pop-and-cross method or an easier path from a basic cascade using under-throws. Fast learners pick it up in 10 to 20 minutes; most people need about a week of short daily practice.

All we're really getting is awareness. Juggling is a great tool for awareness. Three ball juggling is something that you probably have learnt by now, but the mills mess, maybe you haven't. Mills mess is this movement. It's a little bit like the rope flow in some ways of crossing over the body. And I'm going to show you how to do it. Now. The way that I would traditionally teach it, the way that I taught it, which is quite effective, is to pop it up in front of the eyes and then grab it. You might want to stop the video while you practice this. Then go back, watch it again, see if you're doing it like I'm doing. Put it in front of your face, grab it and then cross over with the palm facing up. Put it in front of your face, grab it in front of your face, cross over, touch the arms together. This is the way I would traditionally teach it. Pop swap. So when this one is in front of the face, the bottom hand goes and swaps for that ball that we just put in front of the face. Again, you probably need to practice this five or 10 minutes. Throw the other one up. You want it to be that the balls are almost changing at the same time and you want to be landed in your cross before that bottom one lands. So you notice I'm in the cross catching the white ball. It's good to use two different balls if you have them. If you don't, it's fine. It allows you to track. Once you have that foundation, then you go with the third ball. 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1st, 2, 3, 1,2, 3, 1, 2,3, 1, 2, 3. If you can get to one side, then you get back to the other side. And this is the game right now. When I teach it that way, it generally the fastest learners usually pick it up 10 to 20 minutes generally takes about a week. It took me about a week practicing a bit each day, progressing it along. Now, there's another way that I think we can learn this faster and it's with your normal three ball juggling. And what I want you to do is every time that red ball comes, so one of your balls is going to go under. And then you want to be able to do that from the other side as well. Where it's like under throw. So you reach across. Instead of just throwing that red ball from where it is, I reach across, throw it from the other side. Just throw it straight up and then both sides, red ball going under both sides. Then we put the arms in contact with each other. We've got our mesmers I think that's going to be a more intuitive way to learn it so three ball juggling reach under reach under reach under. Yeah practicing under I guess you can go under every throw ways to build up your under throw ability and then boom boom. Just tracking that green ball under right under left under right under left under left Let me know how you go teach it to a few people Juggling is a great way to learn more about teaching as well you get to see how frustrated you get if you're able to communicate things differently if you're able to help other people stay in the game and continue to develop the thing that you would like them to develop or that they would like to develop giving them confidence giving them encouragement Juggling is amazing skill for coaches to learn coaching and it's also very powerful on many levels Coordination left brain, right brain yeah the benefits flow deep and wide Enjoy getting your meals Mess.
