So we're going to furnish this three bedroom, two bath mobile home today, and our budget for the day is $1,000. Mobile home, Mommy. All right, so we just pulled up in Memphis, Tennessee, at the Habitat for Humanity. Aaron, tell the people why we Habitat.
We about to go finish furnishing some of my properties. We about to go grab a couple of things out of here right now and see what we see. And after we leave out of here, we probably head down to the Goodwill.
And a lot of you all are probably like, why you at Habitat? Because we provide clean, safe, and affordable housing, y'. All right? So we're not going to Marshalls or that's. That's still cheaper. But we want affordable items for our group home or our shared living spaces. We want to make sure that we're keeping things at a low cost so that we're. We're able to produce our income.
Yes, sir, That's a perfect couch.
It's a perfect couch, and it's $95. And it's leather. No, I might have. I'm about to get this car right over here. Kitchen T. That's her car.
Yeah, that's what I was. I was just talking.
Man.
Thank God.
We got. Look, we gotta get a. We gotta get out. They got sheets for $10 we need. Yeah.
So we. We getting this stuff right now. We trying to figure.
I gotta find us a cart and.
You got the little hand on. I can carry it.
I'm gonna go back in this parking lot. Oh, that's a nice machine. Well, they gave me a markdown price on it because it doesn't have the foot pedal with it. Listen, you gotta do what you gotta do. I helped Ms. Pearly to the car. I follow her to the car. She looked back like, who is that? I said, ma', am, I'm just following you so I can get your cart when you're done. She said, no problem, sugar. And he done got a cart.
I told you. Hey. I went in the back, like, where the workers was at. I was like, bro, can I get this back? I ain't even taking the stuff. He like, no, I got you, bro.
That's good.
I called you and tell me I got it. That's all good. So we got two.
Yep. Let's make it happen.
Bigger than yours, you got that little pig basket that you pointed out.
But mine deep. Mine is deep.
Two a king and a master.
A king.
I mean, not a king.
What's the full?
Full. There we go.
About to say, all right, let's find Some dishes. Okay, we want a set of dishes and a set of cups.
Okay? Yeah, and I got. I got the forks and all that, and the tray they go in. I got all of that already.
You just want three nice pans. And we want to try to get them for cheap as this one.
$35.
No, we don't want that. $2 and 29 cents. But I don't like this thing on it. All right, we do this. This $2, we got a cooking board. See, look, this is 75% off. So I just need you to get six matching glasses. So we're gonna furnish this three bedroom, two bath mobile home today. And our budget for the day is $1,000. We're gon much as possible, but in order to stay on the budget, you got to do stuff like this. 75% off glassware, right? So we getting six glasses. They already $2, and we getting 75% off. They might as well just wrap them shits up and give it to us for free. All right, let's see. Let's see now. Let's get us some plates. You. Even though. Even though, y', all, this is Habitat for Humanity, you always want to look for things on sale, see if they got teachers discount, military id whatever you can whip out. You want to whip out. Okay. All right, so now we need some nice set of plates. I think it may just be applied to the glass. And these stickers. I don't know what this sticker means for today, but they give you discount on these stickers.
Yeah, for sure. And we need bowls too, so two of each. You think that's why. That's why you're doing six. Six buses. Because it's three bedrooms. So two.
Two, two. Mm. So we got that. So we want to get some coffee mugs too, but just get regular coffee mugs and get the ones that's the cheapest. 50 cent.
Six of them.
I think four is good. Well, you could get six to keep it even still. What?
Man, this thing is 20 cent.
20 cent?
This thing is 20 cent.
That's right.
This cup is 50 cent, and this cup is 20 cent. This is crazy. This is my first time in here too, FYI. Nicole always talk about it, but I haven't ran into one in California. And yeah, these prices is crazy. This definitely won't be my last time in here.
Nice set of plates, $8. And I'm gonna try to get a discount because it's one of them is chip. All right, we got our cooking board. Dude, you do need a Couple of baking pans. You seen any. Any pots with lids?
No.
Pots with lids. Some baking pans.
Telling the way in here. You got those plates?
Us? Yep, I got the plates. We need some bowls. You seen any bowls?
Not like I do the place, but, no, I don't gotta catch them. That's what I'm saying. I seen one at the Goodwill, but It was like, 69.99.
At the Goodwill?
Yeah, at the Goodwill.
It came with chairs. 51.
You have four leather chairs, too. And they always cool.
It was big.
Yeah.
So you don't want it too, like. Like that's too big.
It was, like, a little smaller than.
That, but you want a circle.
She looking at that couch now.
I'm looking at his locks. Like your locks, brother.
I wish I was keeping up. Keeping them up.
Nah, I understand. Let's see. Let's see. Let' we got some chairs over here. Is this. Is this your purse? That's it exactly. So, first and foremost, we just went shopping with Aaron's man purse. Here. Put your purse on, bro.
This ain't no purse. Don't chill out, bro. We hating on the player, man.
128 bucks. 128 bucks with his man purse. And we're gonna load up the car. And I'm gonna show y'. All. Give me a second. I'm gonna show y' all what we got. So today, for 128 bucks, y', all, we did it. We did it. Aaron bought his big man man purse. And we went in there and we went shopping. Okay. As you can see, we only spent $128. And with that $128, y', all, almost all of our stuff was 85%. Excuse me. 75% off. So we got these bowls for $8. They were 75% off. We got all our glassware. That was additional. 75% off. And look how cheap they were. So we got 75% off of 20 cent. I'll take it all day. I'll take it all day. Clean, safe, and affordable, y'. All. Clean, safe, and affordable. You gonna load up or you just gonna stand there?
Nah, you stand in the way, though.
These were. Well, this is a good look. This is Williams and Sonoma. This is a good, sturdy pan. So that was 10 bucks. We ain't get a discount on that.
$2 for the pan.
But that pan was $2, though. I seen the pan. The scrambled ass.
Yeah, I seen the pan in there for $35.
Nah.
And it looks similar to this.
This one is Two, put them in between those glasses so they won't clink. Clink. What's up, y'? All? Now we're at Goodwill, and I know you're like, who is that? That's Roshada. Don't get it twisted. These are both six figure earners in mobile home investing. He's setting up his group homes. And guess who's next? This one right here. Okay.
Silent Assassin.
The Silent. That is a perfect name. The Silent Assassin. Okay, listen, we heading into the group, the Goodwill. Why? Because clean, safe, and affordable. We gonna get what we need to furnish our homes. But we're gonna do it on the budget. How much? That couch just cost us $95. I was like, wow, $95. And we got 20% off. And all our glassware was what? Additional 75% off. Awesome. Let's go. Now it's $12.99. $12.99. You want us to get. Try to get it from olives? Yeah, she want us to get it from olives With a two piece. Not just one piece. Yeah, that's one. I. We need some more. We need some more bowls. So we're trying to decide on these little last two bowls over here. It's too high. It's 3.99. Okay, we're not doing that. Guess we're gonna have to go to these bowls. These are 1.99. 5.99. 1.99. You want to do all those? They don't want no discount today. And don't you think I should get at least one nice size mixing bowl?
Yeah.
And it's $2.99. Nice mixing bowl. Yeah, we're good. No toaster. We didn't have no toaster. Here's what my group home looked like. Here's the pictures. You have a washer and dryer. I got this. This two piece living room set for free. And then here's a good benefit. When I go to these apps and get things for free, I make sure I tell the person what I'm doing it for. I'm helping somebody that needs affordable house. Because guess what? They turned around. Did. They gave me cutlery. They gave me towels, wash rags. Her and her husband were moving to a bigger house and they were trying to get rid of a lot of stuff. Once I told her what I was doing, she was like, wait, I got more. Okay, definitely need to get a microwave. You only need one bed in the summertime. We did do ACs in the windows. If you don't have central. Just a shower. Curtain. I did buy a shower curtain.
Oh, that's what I need to come.
To the living room. I got table, table, a rug.
That little ass that's smaller than my phone.
TV stand with a TV look. So look at what I got. This was a two piece set for $100. I couldn't find leather, so I just broke down and got it. They don't even sit in it. I bought two little pillows. They was $5 a piece. I bought that $20 rug, which was unnecessary. They got my camera up there in the corner. That mother home came like that with that mirror. And then I bought that table. Then when you come to the kitchen, see my small trash can. I don't want the house stinking. You see my four and four mug is a two bedroom. I don't need six cups. You get four.
Two each.
Two each.
Camera up top.
Camera up top. Another window unit is a 20. Kitchen table. I got here with two little chairs. Got that from Ollie's. Got that from Ollie's. Got a pan set from Ollie's. Got a toaster and a dish pan. On top of the. On the top of the thing is a little can opener. He came with an air fryer and I bought a washer and dryer. The end. How much y' all think we spent? I think just about 35. How much you say, Aaron? I have.
I wouldn't watch when y' all was putting it in, but I'm gonna say 40.
I'm gonna say. I'm gonna say. I'M gonna say 29. 29. You know, just hit that 120. 124. Kitchen table and kitchen table and some living room items, you know? You know, so right now we at about 240. Put your hand down. He did. Aaron did. He said 35. I said 29. Rochata said 33.
Yeah, it sounds good. Just like ladies. Well, I only spent 20. You go look at the bill, it's like 60. You're like, damn, babe, you spent that much?
And last but not least, we at my favorite spot. You already know Ollie's. Good stuff. Cheap, y'. All. If you don't have an Ollie's in your area, don't freak out. Just look for discount stores in your area. I know I keep mentioning Ollie's, Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill. Most states have Habitat and Goodwill, but Ollie's is nothing but a big discounted store receiving in goods from other stores that may be closed out. That's all it is. Try to find you an Ollie's or something that can compare to it. Okay, so all that essential water. Oh, that's Nicole. The. The water and the cups. That's y'. All. She can't drink regular.
Nicole is bougie, bro. This is for Nicole. This is for us. She can't drink regular water, bro. You is.
I like alkaline water.
Clearly, we see. Here you go.
Thank you.
Here you go, Queen.
And my cup of ice.
I got it. I got it. I got it, I got it.
Oh, thank you. This is crazy. So listen, common stores you want to shop at when you're furnishing your group home are Big Lots, Ollies, Roses, Habitat for. For Humanity, Goodwill. I always like to say, start off with Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill so we can get discount material. We're buying furniture when we furnish our group home. Share house, share housing, transitional living, whatever you like to call it. I make sure that we fully furnish it, but you want it to be furnished with nice items. What I'm getting from discount stores such as Big Lots, Ollie's, and Roses, I'm looking for household furniture. Pots, pans, dish, dish cloths, utensils, knives. Those are the household items that I'm looking for. But I'm shopping on a budget versus going to bigger stores such as, you know, JCPenney's, your Macy's. I'm starting at these local discount stores. Keep that in mind when you're setting up your transitional house. The paint. Oh, no, it might be they feel.
Something stuck, and I ain't usually. I don't know, But I'm gonna pull it hard and see, okay. If I gotta pry it open with, like, some scissors or a knife, then if it break, it'll just be one here. Oh, a broom. Yeah, broom and dustpan. Right, Nicole?
Broom. A dustpan.
Yeah. Look at that price. There's two of them. Look at this.
The kitchen. Rochata, huh? You want to do the kitchen red? Yeah, I just want a little one, a short one.
Like, to stand in front.
Just stand in front of the stove.
The stove or the kitchen.
Yeah. Like, this is the right size, but it just look.
Yeah. Or do it black. Oh, no, everything's already blocked.
Yeah. Give me this red one right under here, please. Yep, that'll do it. 7.99. 7.99. So I like to start them off. You know what I mean? So I put two towels on the bed, two. Four washcloths, some hangers. Some hangers. I do hand soap. I do dish soap. I do tissue.
That's over here.
Mm. Just to start them off. So I'll let you go that way if you want. Walk with Keith, let him know what you're looking for. And I'm gonna walk this way.
I don't think bleach. Hey, we gonna get the one with the top down. Hold on. We might. We might. We might be on to something. You can send me a man shopping.
We got that one, right?
Yeah. And we need a twin. I think I seen some twins over there because there's another. There's another road like this over there away from where we're shot and was looking at. But I didn't look at him because you called me, so I just came grabbed.
Just know that these discount stores are always beat up, okay? You always gotta do gymnastics to get over this stuff.
You've been going to your stretch class. You good?
Hey.
Oh, I think it was like eight or nine windows, but they all different sizes.
I didn't do no blinds. I did shades. But you buy at the family dollar store store. The little they stick. They see them. They paper shades.
Yeah, bro, Y' all just do y' all thing, man. Get your cup. About to waste your water on my.
That's not mine. That's yours. Mine is down at the bottom. I see your residual on it. No residue. All right, so you catch the shoes, you catch the drip. I got.
You catch the shoes, you catch the drip.
She will be mad when she see this video. All right, so let's do a walk through, y'. All. When you walk in the house in the living room, what is in the living room? Do we have a couch? We got a couch. Do we have a dining room table? Living room table, Living room table. We do. We have a tv?
No, we ain't got a tv.
We need tv. We got a TV stand. We got a TV stand. Okay, we really don't need wall art, but do you have a piece of wall art yet? No, not yet. Okay, that's fine. That's all we really need for delivery. Room. We got a couch. We got a living room table. We got a hu. We got two TV stand windows. We got two huge windows. So we going to need some blinds and some TVs.
Blinds.
ATV TV for each bedroom.
Oh, okay, so TVs. Yes. With that?
Yes. Okay, so we leave the living room. We go in the kitchen. We got a microwave. Yeah. We got a refrigerator. We got a stove. We have a toaster. We got a can opener. We got knives. We got dishes. We got utensils.
We got the kitchen table. Chairs.
We got the kitchen table Cushion for the.
For the kitchen. Table, the restrooms. We got the shower curtains. We got the curtains.
We got broom, bathroom mat. We got the towels.
We got the broom, Dust pan, washcloth. We got the soaps.
You need a mop in a mop.
My bucket don't got that.
Write this down now.
Yeah, I'm on like, 9, 10%, so I look. Hush.
So we need a mop, mop, bucket, mop, bucket. We need TVs. So we have to have TVs for each room. Yeah. Don't you watch TV in your room?
I don't. That's what I'm saying.
I say put a TV in each bedroom for that amenity. Okay, TVs. What else do we say we need? You said, no, they don't need a dresser. Correct. I don't like dresses in my house.
So what? I'm gonna put the tv. I'm just gonna bring the tv and they'll sit it on the floor for them.
No, I put it on a. I got the bedroom TVs. I have them mounted on the wall. My handyman did it. He mounted it on the wall for me.
But small TVs, like, around, what, 32 inches? 32. 37.
I mean, 19 inch is the smallest, but you don't want to blind the people.
They'll be like, they looking at their damn cell phone.
Yeah, at least 32, y'. All.
32.
Cheapest for me. Y. I don't teach them to be that cheap. Good gracious. What's the biggest? I mean, what. Not the biggest. What's the smallest? In the living room. 32 inch. Oh, I do the same. 32.
Bro, you can't do no 32 in the living room.
You want to see it?
No, we seen that. It look like my cell phone.
Yeah.
I wouldn't do at least a 40. Right?
That's on y'. All.
It depends on what that price looking like when we hit Walmart or wherever we go. Where you get your tvs?
When he hit Walmart. See how much that 40 inch TV cost?
Yeah. We going, oh, yeah, Coach, you was right. 32.
Yeah. All right, so in the bedrooms, they have a bed. Yes, yes. You got the bed frame. You got the mattress. You got the. The. The bedding.
The bedding.
Yeah, we got the bedding.
You got the pillows.
Comforter. Okay. And then in their bathroom, start them off with some tissue. Right? Okay, so hand soap.
Hand soap. Yep.
With that body. So do we need bodies? I don't. No.
No, we ain't doing bodies. No, no, we ain't doing bodies.
Everybody's body is different.
Yeah. And some they might be allergic to.
Start them off with trash bags. Trash cans.
Yeah, we got that kitchen.
Yeah, trash can. Trash bag. We gotta get two trash cans for the bathroom.
Two bathroom trash cans.
Waste basket.
I seen some baskets over there, too, but I think they're, like, blue or something.
I think that's pretty much it. We got towels, washcloths, Hangers. Got hangers.
So I gotta get two.
Per room. Yeah. When they asked me, hey, can we have dresses and stuff? I always say no, because when you move on furniture in, I just. I feel like it's more accessible to bugs. That's my personal opinion. So my people know I don't allow dresses. So. What about plastic band? One guy moved the place. I'm okay with the plastic bin. Okay. Plastic bin that's provided by them. But I just provide hangers because each one has a closet. Yep. Y', all, I think we finished shopping and now it's time to put this together. Y' all ready to see what it looked like once we get done? All right. Yeah.
Just hopped on live real quick out here with my coach. Out here with my coach. We in Memphis. I' ma say. I'm gonna say 2:30.
2:30.
2:30 would be my guess.
I'm gonna say 228, bro.
No, you can't. Not.
No.
Hell no. Oh, no, you can't. You said two. I said 2:30.
Right?
Okay, now you good? Yeah. And she just. And she said 300 earlier, so she want to go right on top of my number, bro. Y', all.
Damn.
And my phone just died. 230. 220. I said 230. I said 230. You said 228, bro.
All right, y'. All. What y' all think the total was? What y' all think the total was? All right, y', all, so listen up. We just left Roses, which is another discount store. We spent a total of 414. $414. We're about 80% finished, because now we just need TVs, boy. Store number three. We at $600, and we are 80% done. The only thing we got left to do is we need three TVs and three TVs and one TV stand. Packing up with my girl Rochada. Cause as you know, Aaron ain't doing nothing. Nothing.
I'm packing up my Troye.
Nothing. You know, you don't see Aaron doing no work, do you? Me and Rochada doing it. All right, we are finally at the potential group home. Right, Aaron? And now we're about to furnish this bad boy and get it ready for the housekeeper to come in and clean it up. What's up, everybody? It's been a long day. We finally got this car unpacked. Everything is inside of the mobile home. And now it is time to show you all what this mobile home is going to potentially look like once we get done. Now, I need y' all to flow with me, right? We're going to have to set this up for a couple of days, but right now, we're just about to go in and bust it out. So you can see the potential setup of how we plan to lay out the beds, how we plan to lay out the living room area, the kitchen. Just. Just follow me. Keep your creative juices going. All right? Mobile home Mommy. Sam.
