$10,500.
$12,000.
Yeah.
Hey, we see you very soon. This, what I'm here to do, could inspire you. We headed to the moon. Look. Yeah, I'm living proof. About to bless off like you.
All right, y'. All. So this is Tyquan.
Hello again.
This is my business partner. And I'm gonna let him talk to you all, introduce himself and. Yeah. Tell you about what we doing out here.
Well, I didn't know I was supposed to talk, but. I'm Tyquan. I'm 26 years old. I've been doing mobile home investing for like six years now. I started doing just rentals, and then I met Nicole in Starbucks last year, and she taught me how to wholesale. So where we're at right now, this is the wholesale deal that we're working on where we just bought all nine of these mobile homes for $10,000. So right now we're gonna walk y' all through all of them. We gonna show y' all the best one first, and then we're gonna show y' all how nasty it could get, and then we can talk about the numbers.
Now what I want y' all to do when we're walking through these properties is, is I want y' all to try to guess how much you think we sold them for. Okay? So welcome to my crib. This is a three bedroom, two bath. Different wallpaper on each wall, but check it out, guys, and let me know what you think. 14 comes with a smoke detector. That's beeping. Wait, we still. We still get the punch? Yeah. How much you think, chassis?
18,000.
18,000. How much you think of, Val?
I was looking at mobile homes.
17. Lil A. How much?
15.
Big A. How much? 20. 20,000. Justina, how much? 12. Okay, let's walk this way. So if we bought 10 mobile homes. If we bought 10 mobile homes. Excuse me. Nine mobile homes for $10,000. Roughly. How much did we spend a piece? Pull your phones out. 1,100. Yes. $1,100 apiece for each mobile home. You know how much we spent for this one? How much? We sold this one for 10,500.
So before y' all go in here, this is a 1995. This is one of the only four bedrooms. This is the second four bedroom I've seen in my entire six year career. How many have you seen, Nicole?
This is my second one.
Okay, this is your first one.
No.
So this is a 4 bed, 2B. We don't see very many of these, but help yourself.
Come on in, guys.
I put some plug ins in here, so Let me know if y' all like them.
You want to know what that smells like? Dinero.
What is that?
Dinero? Money. Are you running from the money smell? What's wrong?
Y' all gotta take it all in.
What you doing, baby? Cause I just told you I paid $1,100 for this. How would you feel if I told you I just sold this mobile home for $12,000?
$12,000? Hold on. I said more than the last one.
This is four bedrooms. This hot. This hot. This a four bedroom. $12,000. And I sold it to a man who already knows how to come in here and fix it up. So he gonna come in here, redo the floors, put some wallpaper down. He could clean the cabinets up.
And something that I like that you did is you walked through and started pointing out all the issues like, oh, I gotta do this and I gotta do that, and I. So then you making them think of stuff wrong with their house kind of helps you out.
And that's exactly what you do. You start with, man, I really like this mobile home, but, however, it's a lot of damage to the floorboards, you know, the wallpaper. It is a four bedroom. However, it's not update. We would have to update it in the floor. We would have to completely rip it out. I will go through and tell you. Basically talk to you like, the audacity of you to even ask for $8,000 without making you saying, ugh, I ain't paying that. I'll just say you wanted $8,000 for this mobile home. It was leaking under here.
It was an old leak. It was never fixed. You gonna need it by this time.
Oh, okay. So it was leaking and what. What. What happened to your cabinets?
They're just old cabinets. We had a cabinet. We had a double cabinet.
I gotta replace all these floor vents.
I gotta rip the carpet up to get the smell out.
All right, y', all, we're going on a trip. Little Einstein. Climb aboard, Little Einstein. Hey.
I'm not sure I'm ready. I still can smell that house from here. Yeah, you gonna smell it on you.
Till you get home. We're taking.
It's gonna stay in your clothes to.
This next property as they complain of what they smell like. How do you smell? What do you smell like?
I think I smell like outside and a bit of cologne I got on earlier.
Outside and a bit of cologne? Yeah. Okay.
No mold.
How do you feel about that house that we just left?
I think it just needs a bunch of work done.
It just needs some work Done. But it is potential there. Welcome to my crib. What you think you like it? If it's food in there, it's going to smell really bad.
Okay?
So remember that.
Okay.
He didn't. He opened it, but it was clean, so we good.
Thank. Thank God I didn't seen some bad.
What did you want to open it though? Say it again. What did you want to open? Tassity.
Sorry.
What did you want to open it though? Why I want to open it? No, no, go ahead. Because like, like, I opened it because I' ma want to see like what's in there, though. So let me tell you something about mobile home. We can get used appliances for maybe $150. So I'm not concerned about the contents of the refrigerator. But you're gonna learn. You're gonna walk in the mobile home because I know you want to do this.
You'll see somebody head in there and you.
No, it's just going to be a odor and it's going to be terrible. And you going to say, Nicole told me, don't open that refrigerator. I might still open it up. Okay, well, in the next one, I want you to open it up and we going to step out when she open it, y'.
All.
Wait, why? No, I want you to open the next one. Everybody stepping out with. Because you're Curious George and I don't want to put a pause on your. I have to be the example for everybody else. Because you want to be the example. You said you didn't wanted to open, so I'm gonna let you open it, baby. Yes. Thank you. You get it?
Yes.
I ain't about to die. Okay, anybody remember what I mentioned? What this was called yesterday is a tongue or hitch. This is what's needed to move a mobile home. It's very important. Y' all ready to go into my favorite house? Welcome to the cat house. So in this mobile home, of course, I will fix the floors. So this goes back to Justin. Justin, we gotta fix the floor and the what? There you go. The subfloor. Because the subfloor has what in it? Craters? Holes. Right. It's pretty bad. But this house is pretty solid. I would paint it. These spider webs don't scare me because the ceiling is not sagging, y'. All. We're gonna cool seal the roof. But these floors, y'. All, These floors can easily be replaced, cleaned up, painted. This right here is called Sheetrock. We gonna fix them holes in the wall. Go ahead and open that refrigerator. Go ahead and open that refrigerator.
That's actually pretty clean.
Yeah, it is. But typically it would have a really bad odor, so we would not open it. All right, y', all, I'm here with my main guy, Justin. Justin and the crew, and we're wrapping up. Today. We just went on a tour of a, what, nine mobile homes and a mobile home park that's closing. And if you could tell the people one thing you learned today, what would that be? Anything. Only fix things that really need to be fixing. Oh. What he's saying is clean, safe, and affordable. We'll only fix what needs to be fixed because we're not trying to make these homes HGTV ready. We're just trying to get them ready for a family who's looking for affordable living. We'll see you all tomorrow for day three.
Just for the culture Stacking our bees like his folgers we own the move we in motion I believe I got a notion Nothing but love that's devotion Budgets don't cost me up with the commotion.
