About two days.
Rustoleum epoxy.
About a week.
Mobile home. Mommy. Mommy.
What's up, everybody? We just finished up at the mobile home park, went to the famous arcade to grab a bite to eat. We had the Elvis sandwich, the peanut butter and bananas. It was pretty good, to be honest. And now we are at the National Civil Rights Museum, the Lorraine Motel, where Martin Luther King took his last moments. Aaron, what you want to tell the people?
This has been a beautiful day. It's really nice out here. Seeing this is like learning about it in school and just actually seeing it for myself in person. It's pretty shocking to see it with my own two eyes.
Shawty, you want to add anything? Where I actually grew up here and lived here, just to see it now. And I haven't visited in a while, but it's kind of breathtaking, you know, from where we've gone and where we are now. So we're about to wrap up our tour here and head back out to the mobile home park.
Oh, so this is her purpose.
Shelter for homeless. Assistance for the needy. Care for the elderly. Help of unemployed.
Vacation.
Wow.
You see Ms. Jacqueline? Yes, the lady right there. You met her before?
Oh, I've never talked to her, but she's been here for years.
I seen her.
I thought.
I just thought she was hungry. I didn't read the signs.
I didn't even see her.
I still got to have one color for the trouble.
Greg, I'm scared now, so don't let me fall. I got your leg, okay? No, you're not. All right, Greg.
So I definitely gonna have to have some new breakers put in here.
Some new breakers.
This wallpaper need to come down.
Okay, so pull the wallpaper down. How much you thinking this gonna cost? You wanna wear?
Definitely.
You can put that.
You have to be cleaned.
And you can't just put that stick and peel on it.
That's good.
That's like 80 years of grime. That's nasty.
Really nasty.
Okay. The floors feel good. Gray.
You got a slope already. Feels good.
Yeah, but it's solid. It's solid. All right, Greg, what else we looking at?
I wonder why they take all these brushes out.
People been stealing.
They steal it.
Selling the copper wire and stuff.
Big walk in clothes.
Twist your head on that. I know the results. What you think we should do in this room, Grant? Hold on real quick before we go in the restroom, what you think we should do in here? Paint the walls.
Leave this up.
Paint it like what you thinking? Just paint over the top of it.
This feels dirty all over the place.
I mean.
Yeah, you gotta clean it I say paint it.
Paint it?
Yeah, just clean it. Think the closet.
It's a mold down here. And it must be coming from the.
It could be coming from the outside wall. Mo bad with getting mold around the corners. There could be loose screws out there. It could be doing that for letting.
Let me in a little bit of moisture.
This wallpaper in here comes off.
So you said take the wallpaper off.
I take the wallpaper off. Clean it. Clean it. Spank the bathroom.
Yeah, I think all of it need paint. Ready to do some linoleum down there? Yeah, some linoleum, some vinyl.
So we got linoleum in the bathroom. Painting the walls in here. Switching the carpet out.
Definitely switching the carpet. Switching the carpet out in the master closet. Paint the walls.
This electrical can get expensive.
I don't even know where the breaker box is.
I just think the whole house did well. Shorter than this stuff. 2300, but it went up.
It's 28.
Well, that. Now over there, when I painted on the outside, that right there is going to cause cover wire. How they have. How far they have to run it from the pole. But right there to right there. It's not going to cost that much.
Greg, remind me how long you've been working on mobile homes.
25. Close to 30 years. Close to 30 years.
Oh, what about. Greg, real quick. What about. Yeah, what about the. The cabinets? Paint those.
Just clean them or I paint those. Paint them.
Probably like a white, like a light, light gray or something like that.
The stove look like it still work too.
That's good. The only thing I'd be worried about is the. The water lines in this thing.
Yeah, See, just get a patch and past that. Yeah, that'd be cheap. And then paint this, of course, paint the panel.
But everything else looks pretty good. Everything is fine.
You know, simple soft spot. Take this carpet out. So do you take this down and then paint or you just clean this and then you paint it?
No, I painted just like that.
Painted this.
This right here is a printed sheetrock. It's got the paper already on it.
Gotcha. So just.
They, they ordered this stuff to go in mobile home already.
So this is like the master bedroom. So just paint over. You don't got 10 with the queen. Eventually.
Come on this right here.
Oh, paint.
Okay.
All right, cool.
All right, then we do carpet here and we got. Yeah, I said we want a darker carpet and we want a darker carpet than. What's the. What's the. For the tubs. To paint the tubs.
The rustoleum.
Rustoleum epoxy. You familiar with that? Paint it white, making it look snow white, like a brand new. You familiar with that?
Oh, yeah. I did a green ceramic tile one a while back and turned it white.
Yeah, I want to do that. And the walls are. These walls are good. You don't need to do nothing. You just clean them.
Yeah, that's what. All you have to do is clean that.
What about this wall? Are we taking this wallpaper down? Greg?
Yes.
Take the wallpaper down.
So, Greg.
Yes.
You know how we do our walkthroughs? What's like an estimate time frame? The. I know you gotta finish the other project, but what's your time frame? And then what's an estimate of some numbers?
Well, we got the water up fire down there first.
That's the main important thing. Okay.
And then painting wallpaper, putting nothing down.
A week time. Okay. Even the wallpaper. Okay. Because it's easily slides.
It come off. The back end come off. You want to do it because.
Yes.
Yeah.
I need this. Look at this. This is what I'm gonna have him do on my tub in there. The Rustoleum paint white. I like that a lot. He used this.
What you did. Why you didn't do that for me? It look good.
The tub was green.
I'll take you back to North Carolina with me. Y' all, look at this.
How are you going through that in the camera?
Oh, man.
What you say?
Can I get my own. My own house don't even look like this.
Mine don't either. Nicole.
Holly. That look good.
I don't think none of mine. I said my own house don't even look like this. Yeah, great. We're gonna need. We're gonna need that and both here and at the other one.
I like that.
See, that had green tile.
He took it all behind us. I like that.
I did all that before. I put the toilet and stuff in.
Is that a mobile home?
No, this is a house over here off of St. Ammo that I rebuilt.
Oh, yeah, I remember that lady. Is it reasonable to do that? And what can I tell my handyman in North Carolina that's called.
It's called rustinoleum towel stuff.
I have no idea.
So it was a towel stuff.
To redo tubs and towels.
So is it a one piece that you stitched?
No, no, no.
You painted it.
You painted it all. How long.
How many days did that take to do that?
About two days. Because I had to take acetone and clean the tile to make sure no residue was on it. Plus sand.
So how did you get the brick on the wall?
The little brick pieces it's like you.
Buy it like that.
No, no, no people that come in to an old home you already got the ugly towel and the tub you just paint it over painted it over with that epoxy.
Okay and changed out the shower knobs and the shower head. Smart man. Okay so listen Greg, we know you've been done well I know you've been doing this a little bit over 25 years. What would you tell the people Some of the, the the hardest things that you would have to do as far as when it comes to mobile homes as far as repair or fix and flip.
One of the hardest things saying when you come into one with a particle board floors and it's being flooded they so wavy and weak so best thing to do is cut them out and put all new plywood mobile home. Mommy. Mommy. Sam.
