Jennifer's Story

Jennifer Cook, owner of TBS Wellness Collective in Tulsa, used the X39 peptide patch for five months and saw faster hair and nail growth, softer scars, and reduced back pain. The patch uses infrared light to activate a copper peptide and is FDA-recognized as a Class 1 medical device.

Good evening, everyone. Thank you so much for joining us this evening. We are so excited you're here. These testimonial calls are always so much fun just to get to hear, um, what people are experiencing with our amazing technology. It's why we do what we do, because we get to be a part of just watching people shine and glow and feel better and all of the amazing things that happen, um, in people's lives when they start, um, when their body starts coming back into balance. So I'm Nikki McCutchen. I will be your host this evening. Um, we are going to start with our medical disclaimer. All of our technology is not intended to treat, cure, diagnose, or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant or nursing or on medications, we always recommend, just like with embarking on any new diet or health and fitness program, that you check with your preferred healthcare practitioner first. So with that, I am super excited to introduce you to my sweet friend Jennifer Cook. She is owner of— hello, my dear. She is the owner of TBS Wellness Collective here in Tulsa. Truly a fabulous, remarkable spa. Everything's noninvasive, and it's just— it's one of those great little gems. If you know me well, you know that I care about noninvasive, noninvasive, nonchemical, all of those kinds of things. And she has so much great stuff to offer there. And so she is offering the technology in her spa. As well as using it herself. And so she's had some wonderful results. So I'm super excited to just let you take it away, Jen. So tell us why you got started on the technology and what you've seen since you started. Okay.
You, of course, introduced me to the patch, and I honestly thought there's no way that this is going to do what she's claiming it's going to do. I thought there's just This can't be anyway. So I remember when we were sitting there and you were explaining the technology to me and what it's capable of doing and how it works. And, you know, nothing synthetic and we're not putting anything in the body. And you had just met with someone that about 30 minutes after she put it on, you noticed that there was a relaxation in her. And because like me, she's kind of one of these anxiety people. And I remember you asking me like 30 minutes after I put it on, you said, "Um, so are you noticing anything or feeling anything?" And I thought, "No." I was so upset. I was like, "Why am I not feeling something?" And you explained, you were like, "Everybody's different. You may have something that you could tell right away. It may take a few days, a few weeks, a few months." And if you're someone that just does not have something that's obvious, there's always the possibility that you won't feel it. And, um, you could tell like by blood test and things like that for evidence. So I said, okay, I'm going to wait this out and I'm going to be patient. So a few weeks later, I've been wearing the patch every day and my husband was at the spa and you were asking him, you know, what he thought about me wearing the patch or whatever. And he hadn't tried it. And you said, here, why don't you try it? And he put it on. Within a couple of minutes, he's like, I think I feel a little lightheaded. And you're like, I think you need to drink some water. You must be dehydrated. He drank the water and he thought, you know what, I don't know what it is, but I feel something. And I was like, that is not fair. That is not fair. I'm supposed to understand this and, and, and believe in this, and I'm trying to figure it out and I can't tell anything. And my husband's standing over here telling— and he's the biggest cynic of everything. Everything's fake, everything's a scam. I'm already having to explain a lot of things to him and why it's not hokey what we do in our holistic wellness spa, okay? And he sat there and he thought, man, I, I do. I feel something. I don't know what it is, but, you know, I'm going to keep wearing it and I'll let you know. Oh, great. Fantastic. So that was really irritating. But then a week and a half or two later, I bumped into someone, a friend of mine downtown Broken Arrow, and she said, your hair has grown quite a bit, hasn't it? And I said, it has. And, you know, you look in the mirror every day and you don't notice. And she said, yeah, I swear I saw you not that long ago and your hair looks like it's it's grown quite a bit. And I had been complaining to her that since I lost a significant amount of weight and had COVID, that my hair had just been thinning. And I've always had really, really thick, healthy hair. I've kind of— that's kind of my thing. Like, I'm always known for my hair, you know? And it was disappointing to run my fingers through my hair and pull out just gobs of hair in my hand. And, um, I thought, well, that's cool. Did not put a correlation that it was the patch that I was wearing. So, um, so a little bit more time goes by and my husband starts telling me, you know what I've noticed when I stand— because he's had back problems his whole life since a car accident when he was 6 years old— and he was like, I've noticed that when I stand up out of my chair and stuff, I'm not kind of doing that old man grunt like, uh, like I kind of do. And he's just used to it. We've been married 28 years. If Josh stands up, there's an old man grunt and then he goes. It's just how he gets up out of a chair. That's just it. And he said, I'm kind of noticing I'm not doing that. And I was like, really? He goes, I really think it might be the patch. And I was like, I don't feel anything.
This is so—
what, are you serious? Like, and then I thought maybe I'm a part of a placebo test and it just isn't working on me. I was so mad. And, um, He was like, yeah, I think so. I'm like, okay, okay, you know, that's fine. So he calls me a few days later and he's like, man, my back's kind of hurting. And I was like, oh, okay, I wonder. He's like, oh, I forgot to put my patch on this morning. And I was like, you're kidding me. And so then we went back and the next day he had the patch on. He felt great again. And so he has found in the few times that he's forgot the patch, he has found that he gets that soreness, whatever it's helping with, it kind of stops and he notices a difference in that, that day. And so I thought, okay, fine, you have something, you see it, great, whatever. But I'm not sure it's working for me. Well, then I started noticing, as you can see, I do not like nails. I am not a nail person. I just, I can't clickety-clack. I already mistype everything and backspace 24/7 when I'm typing. If I have nails on, people think there's just something wrong with me. I cannot type. And so I just do not do nails. And I didn't think about it in the moment, but I was clipping my nails every day because they were starting to get a little longer than I'm comfortable with. And I'm clipping them and clipping them and it's kind of getting annoying. So for the first time in years and years, I started carrying my fingernail clipper with me. And then people started telling me, including you, because you hadn't seen me in quite a while at the time, you're like, your hair is looking good. Like, and I— what? I'm getting compliments on my hair again. Someone said, you need to look at your hair just several months back and now. And that picture that you have of me was just 4 or 5 months earlier, and I had my thin bob. I had cut my hair because it was getting so thin. I felt like it needed to be all one length to give it like the illusion that it was thick, because my layers that I now have, they look so straggly down here. I chopped it off. I got to looking at that picture and looking in the mirror and looking at the picture of it. Oh my God, that's my thing. My hair, my nails are growing. And then I put two and two together that I might not have something obvious. It just took some time. But my hair and my nails are so healthy now.
Yeah.
And I can pull up like a pop can without my nail being like, you know, bendy. And I have really thick hair again. And I, I look like me again and I don't have to worry about, you know, have to top it to get it thicker or anything like that. I'm just— I'm so happy with my hair again. And yeah, so yeah, that's my story of what I figured out for myself, even though my husband got to figure it out right away, which is really annoying. But yeah, that's how I know that this is doing something for me. And if it's doing that for my hair and nails, I just know it's doing other things that I just can't tell. And so there we go.
100%. Yeah, obviously, because if you can see something on the outside that is reflective of all the good that's going on on the inside, especially when you're dealing with collagen, because that's across our body, it's the glue that holds everything together. It's in the lining of all of our organs. It's the fascia and the tendons and the ligaments. It's all collagen is all a part of all of that. So if you're getting to see it in your nails and your hair, it means that it's also doing some fantastic things on the inside too. So yeah, so exciting. Yes, I'm so excited for your husband too. I didn't know the part about him being in a car wreck when he was 6 and then having, having discomfort all of that time. So that's amazing because how old are you guys now?
Uh, we are 47 and 48. We met when we were 19 and— or 18 and 19. And so I, I can assure you he's been Old Man Grumpy since he was 19 years old. So, um, it's the biggest change.
Yeah, that's incredible. Yeah, that's remarkable. And you guys have been using the technology for how long now?
Um, we started it, I believe it— what was it, February? I want to say it was February. March, April, May, June. Yeah, about 5 months now.
Yeah.
And to a point where it's so obvious if we don't we aren't using it, that I just can't see us not using it now, you know? And it's only 5 months in, so.
Right, absolutely. And you did go to your hairdresser, right? Yes. When all this— so tell us what she said.
Yeah, she noticed a lot that I didn't even know. She'd been doing my hair, um, since 2010, so she's very familiar. And she was telling me not to cry when I was in the chair, telling us, showing her how my hair had thinned out and stuff. And she started pointing out, she was like, Jennifer, and she started pulling all the baby hairs out and she was running the comb and going like this and pulling baby hairs down. They were all over my head.
Yes.
And she was just like, it's getting to a point now when I'm doing your trimming, you know, I do like a split ends trim every 12 weeks or whatever, and it just wasn't growing. And I just kept getting shorter and shorter and shorter. You're supposed to cut it and make it grow because it's not breaking off. The health of my hair, she noticed right away. She's like, your hair is thick again, Jennifer. It's thick and it's growing. She's like, this is amazing, because she wouldn't touch my hair for the longest time with color or anything because we were afraid I was going to go bald. So then 5 months in, I'm like, yes, yes, absolutely.
And I was just noticing, I totally forgot to talk to you about today. So when you had your arm up, you guys, yes. You do not. We should have gotten before. Like, you can barely see it on the Zoom. When I first met her, her scars— she has scars on her arms right here. Purple, pink, like all the colors. Large. Were they ever raised? I'm trying to remember if there was one side that was raised.
Yeah, they were raised. They've gotten softer, which that happens over time, but usually like years, you know. Like some softness. But both sides, um, I mean, this side right here is still darker than the other side. Yes, but this was crazy, and this was look like that one, and you can see a difference.
Oh my gosh, my scar. Yeah, yeah, I remember I was talking to her. It might have been, it might have been 2 or 3 months that you were patching, and I was like, Jennifer, have you— do you see your scar? Like, your scars are like, they're going away. Like, yeah, because Scars are very pronounced. And so, again, that collagen and the remodeling of the scar tissue, and because your body is then helping to smooth those things out and regenerate those, which is— that's truly remarkable, too. So how long had it been since the surgeries there?
I had that surgery June 6th. What is this, 2026? I had that surgery. June 6th, 2024. Okay, so like 2, 2 years ago, 2 years ago and 5 months ago, even though they had healed great and were doing their thing, 2 years later it's progressed so much more in 5 months than it did in 2 years.
Yes, yes, truly remarkable. I mean, because I would have even said that looking at your scars, you had looked like, you know, potentially maybe a few months out even from surgery, not 2 years. Yeah, because your scars are very, you know, very pronounced and remarkable.
So yeah.
Wow. That's— yeah, that's incredible.
Yeah. Yeah. I notice people ask me less about them or I see less people kind of looking and wondering what those scars are because they're less obvious, right? Yeah. You know, I mean, when it's 110 degrees, you're going to wear short sleeves and tank tops. So scars or not, it's nice to know that they look so much better than they did 5 months ago.
Yes, absolutely. That's remarkable. That's huge. And just to know how important and how much your hair mattered to you, to have that come back, that emotional component and that emotional piece. When we are more emotionally feel more stable and more like ourselves, how much balance that just brings to our life overall. Yeah, such a blessing. That's amazing. So Pastor Ed is asking if you would share how you're using the technology in your spa.
Uh, yes. So, um, we are offering non-invasive peptide therapy, um, whenever we have customers come in. Um, I have a bodywork practitioner, um, named Melissa that she utilizes it herself first, and she's been on it as long as I have. And, um, she has, uh, lymphedema and several other things that these have changed her life. So she's very vocal and shares with everyone that she does, um, fascia bodywork on. And, um, are finding that people are hearing that the word peptides is becoming kind of like a word that everyone's realizing. People are wanting to do something that is healthier, safer, less of the— anything from pain pills to taking specific meds that can cause damage to your liver and things like that. If it's safe and if they are okay to try this, we are offering it and saying, look, try the peptide. It's just a patch that you wear. We are just— we're first giving out a few patches for free, letting them see if they can tolerate the sticky, if they want to wear it. And then, you know, that's just— take it from there. And if they'll believe my story that it took me a while, because they might be the same way, you know. I think so far everyone's kind of figuring out, hey, you know, we're not gonna lie to them. It's gonna do its thing, so it'll do something. What you need, it'll figure it out.
Yes, absolutely. Yeah. Everybody's body is different. And so, yeah, that's amazing. So, yes, because peptides are— they're so popular right now, even though peptides are— we've had them in our bodies forever. It's how we have our own human peptides. And the market, it's just kind of one of those big, all the rage kind of right now of what you can do. And that's the amazing thing is this was a very easy to your spa and what you're offering your clients and to give them that non-invasive way to elevate their own body's peptides. So all of those things about our own body being able to heal and regenerate itself when it has the tools that it needs. Yeah. So that has been a really fun add for you guys to have.
It's also nice that you can offer it on the side of something like maybe thinning hair and needing health I mean, I don't know about you, but it was horrible, like opening a can of something or— and Grinnell, just— I can't tell you that term. I broke it down to the quick so many times and got like a crack. They were just so thin. And people have little issues like that. People want to have— they want to like their hair. You have that side of it. But then you have the side— it's like the difference in the inflammation that people are suffering with on the wellness side. And stuff. It's so great to have it in a med spa where people come either for self-care and to feel pretty and fabulous, or they come because they need help with, you know, pain and other things, um, depression, all kinds of stuff that we have things like this to offer. It's amazing.
Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. So much fun. So, so this is what we were talking about, this tiny little patch that I have on my wrist. You can wear them anywhere. Um, we have an infrared light that comes out of our body. Every single spot in body. So when you look at movies and they're, they're talking about night vision goggles and they're looking at heat signatures and they're seeing all those pretty colors, they're calling that a heat signature, but it's actually scientifically a low-grade infrared light. That infrared light hits the center of this patch, and this operates kind of like a mirror, a reflective crystal lattice structure in there. And our infrared light that we can't see hits the center of that patch, bounces back into the body, turning on very specific peptides. So, um, that's what's remarkable is is when you can get your own human endogenous peptides up and working, they will work the way that God designed them to. And then you have across-the-body benefits in your body being able to decide what it wants to do and what it wants to repair. This technology actually just won the Stem Cell Innovation of the Year Award in 2025 in combination with our Cellergize supplement. So this has everything in it that you need to support your body's stem cells minerals, amino acids, and electrolytes as well. So helping support the zinc and copper balance, anything in your body that may cause your own GHK copper peptide to not be able to work optimally. So this, the Cellergize, helps to support that. And then the, um, our X39 patch helps to elevate GHK copper peptide. And so it's really the GHK copper peptide that does all of the amazing things in the body. And so that's what's truly remarkable. So like with Jen, she's a heavy researcher looking at everything, making sure it's going to do what it says it's going to do. So we're talking about FDA recognized as a general wellness product, a Class 1 medical device, completely non-transdermal, organic amino acids and salts, medical grade plastic, completely hypoallergenic adhesive. So like Jen was talking about, you know, people are worried about the sticky or whatever. And that's the amazing thing because it's all infrared light. It can actually go on top of your clothes. So it doesn't even have to be on your skin. So if someone comes back into the spa and they're like, yeah, I was kind of itchy, or, you know, because they could have potentially not gotten the area cleaned off well, you know, or something like that as well that's creating that. And it's not even, you know, if they're allergic to a Band-Aid, um, that would be the only reason they would be allergic to this because it's the same type of medical device. So, but they can always wear it on the clothes, they can wear it on the inside of their clothes, it doesn't matter, doesn't have to be the skin because nothing transfers into the skin. So extremely affordable. So in, in the whole med spa arena, we're talking about things that, that can be very costly, right? Like different things that you're dealing with. And, and so people being willing to spend on themselves. And so this is one of those things that's less than a cup of coffee a day. So it's also a fantastic add for, you know, just for people to get that overall body benefit, help bring their body body's back in homeostasis. They feel good, they have more energy, they sleep better, they have better mental clarity, all of those kinds of things for less than a cup of coffee a day. So the ROI on your investment in your health that people can get from an amazing med spa like this is truly remarkable, which then will increase those referrals because not only are you making everybody look pretty, feel pretty, but then they're getting all of the internal benefits as well. And like, oh my gosh, like, I— there's— I've So many amazing things from that spa. So anyway, yes. So just a great addition and add. It's patented technology. There's over 250 patents and, and counting. There's over 90 clinical studies and counting. We're continuing to do all of that. And that's the other remarkable thing. There's no other technology in the world that does what our technology does. So there's literally no competition on the market today for what this does. There are like GHK injections injections, those bite. Those have a major bite to them that a lot of people don't like. They can be very painful. And so, and, and that's the other thing is the comparison of the fact that you have something that has to be stabilized synthetically that's now being injected. I was actually talking to somebody the other day and I was like, okay, let's think about this for a second. When we're talking about injections, like when you think about the fact of you know, if a bee stings you, a mosquito bites you, a, you know, a snake bites you, like all of these things that could be injected into our skin from an animal that's not supposed to happen, right? Like we're not supposed to have these things being injected into our bodies. So supporting your own body's ability to elevate those peptides in a natural way that was, that was already designed there is always going to be far superior than utilizing an injection. I think the injections and all those things are great too. Like, if somebody wants to do that, that's great. They don't always work the way that you want them to and the way that they're, you know, tell you they work because your body actually pulls all of those peptides apart and it pulls all those amino acids apart and then the body decides to use it how it wants to. So it's not even used in the same way, whereas this is targeting specifically that very specific peptide and telling it to get up and do its job. So that light switch that gets turned on and just like the light switch for your blender. Okay, so turning on and going on. Another patch that you might use is the AHK copper peptide. So turning on the microwave in your house, or let me pick something else, your toothbrush. I don't know, pick another, flip a switch and it's turning on something else. So that very specific frequency is turning on those very specific peptides, and then your body uses them the way that it was designed to, which is what's remarkable. So we always wear them 12 hours on, 12 hours off. You put them on in the morning when you get up, you take them off at night before you go to bed. I already talked about the elevation of the stem cells, the support in your energy, your cardiovascular function, helping across the body, your heart, your blood vessels, your blood vessels, the lining of your blood vessels, your mental clarity, your brain, your thought processes. I know before I started this, I would walk into a room and I would be like, I don't remember what I came in here for. Turn back around, let me go see if I can remember, and then come back in and do it again. So it's so nice to have my mental clarity back. We talked all about the collagen. Collagen is huge, which is what Jennifer's talking about. So you get that collagen and those stem cells working together. It's why we have such a wide range of benefits that people have with this technology, because those are all happening when GHK copper peptide gets elevated in the body. Your immune system. So your immune system being supported. So that's anything from cold, flu, things like that, to diseases, right? You get a disease because your immune system is not working properly. And so now we have a way for our body to try to combat those different things and be able to fight those off and detoxify those out of our bodies before we have something negative happen in our health. We talked about the, um, the scar tissue remodeling, so that wound healing— anybody going through a surgery or anything like that, helping that wound healing happen faster. Many of us have experienced that through different surgeries we had to go through. So, um, and like Jen is, you know, it's been 5 months. So, um, which, you know, we always tell people, like you said, sometimes it takes a while. Like, so you got to give it time. Some people may notice things, which we all want to be that person, just like you, Jen. We all want to be that person, and we're mad if it doesn't. My husband is still mad. It's been 3 and a half years, and my husband is still mad because he doesn't feel anything. But we see it in his test results. And so that's what makes a difference, is overall health, overall vitality. Resetting our bodies to that younger, healthier state is what's changing things and allows us to be healthy, more healthy overall, which is what we're trying to do, is embrace that optimal health in every single area of our body. So hydration is always key with this. So like anything in your spa, Jen, what do you tell people about water?
You need to be hydrated before, during, after. If you do not stay hydrated, the body is not going to do what it needs to do. We need hydration more than anything. So the last thing you want to do is come in there, put a lot of money into something, and then turn around and leave right away and go, you know, drink a lot and eat tons of fried foods and all the things that's just going to reverse what we just did for you because we did something that's amazing for you. So we just tell people, stay hydrated, hydrated, and just make healthy choices. This is about your health.
Yeah, absolutely.
Absolutely.
And that's the same with this technology. So it doesn't matter what it is with your health, hydration is always going to be a key in that area. So yes. Yeah. Anything else you want to add, Jen?
And if I ever feel something, I'm going to be really excited and I'll let you know and I'll come on again. Until then, we'll just measure my hair now and then. That's right.
Yes. I literally, I remember walking in the other day and she had turned around and it, I think it was only like a week since I had seen you before that. And I was like, Jen, like in a week? I can't even believe how much longer your hair looks. It was, it's just amazing. So I, yeah, I had, I mean, I, my hair was growing faster too with all of this. I had help with my, my hair, skin, and my nails, but I don't think I've ever seen anybody anybody's hair grow as fast as yours has been growing.
So, well, you know, I had healthy hair that loved to grow before. I was someone that could cut my hair, regret it, and then 6 months later it looked like I hadn't cut it. But I had not had that since 2020, and it was getting really depressing. So this has been exciting.
Yes, absolutely. It's so awesome. Well, thank you so much for sharing your story with us. We know that it's going to help so many people. If you are all in Tulsa Please come and come check out Jen Spa. They are always doing all kinds of fun events, so definitely follow them on social media, see what they have coming, check things out. Their body worker in there is amazing. I'm getting ready to go do some facial stuff in there. I have never done that in my life, so I'm so excited because I've always been wanting to find a place that believes what I believe in the fact of noninvasive, nonchemical, being very careful with ingredients. And I've just never found a place like that. So I've always been leery of like, okay, you know, what else is going to be going on in here? But Jen cares about all of that. And so I'm so excited to get to try some new things that I've never done before. So, oh yeah. So Diane wants you to share about Melissa and the lymphedema, what she's noticed. Yes.
Okay. So Melissa has a story of her own that's just amazing about her health. That started in her 30s, and she's my age, and she has lymphedema. And one day when we decided to put the patch on her and have her try it, which again, I'm not going to lie, I got mad. I was very, very irritated. She looks at me and she's like, oh my gosh. She goes to the bathroom, comes back out, and she's like, do you hear this? And she's walking and I'm hearing like popping, like her joints popping and stuff. Her lymphedema is so extreme and so bad that she can look like like she lost 10 pounds overnight from inflammation. Um, there's a lot more, of course, for her that goes into that, but right away she could feel it and she was shocked. And then she starts telling everyone as they walk in the door, and I'm sitting there going, okay, well, it works, you guys. It's real. It's not a joke. You all need to try it. Who wants a patch? Who wants to try this? Her health has just increased substantially. And her husband, who is an amazing fit man— he is 61 years old, he is 6'5", he used to play basketball for Ole Miss and for TU— healthy. He's a personal trainer. He is so healthy. He got sick with an infection and they didn't know it, and he had to have 3 of his toes amputated. Wouldn't you know, she went straight home and started slapping patches on him, and everyone thought he was going to be depressed and sad and sitting at home. Oh no, he was out helping his friends with, uh, traumatic brain injuries and stroke victims and stuff, helping them rehab with this boot on his leg. He's fine. Um, he's an amazing person. And so I've seen the patch change both of their lives. The lymphedema with the inflammation and the pain that she's always in, and him and his healing, it gave them— yeah, I got great hair, okay? I got great I got my hair.
That's awesome. Oh my gosh. Yes, that's awesome. And I'm so excited to see all the other stories that start happening with the other people that you get to share everything that you have to offer in your spa. So, yes. So thank you, everyone. Thank you, Jen. Please, whoever invited you to the call tonight, get back to them. Tell them that you're ready. Get ready to start on this technology. Don't wait another day. It may take you, you know, several months. Months to notice what's going on, but you also might be one of those people that happens very quickly. Regardless of where you are, don't stop patching. Yes, keep patching. Trust the process. Like Jen said, drink lots of water, eat healthy, make good quality health choices overall, and this technology will be a great partner for all of those choices. So with that—
my phone only fell twice. I was so worried because I have a broken stand, and so I haven't rigged. So this was a successful night.
Absolutely, absolutely. Yes. So with that, everyone, we pray blessing over each and every one of you. Good night, everyone. Thank you so much, Jen. Good night.
