Mindset Training

Nikki Lea McCutchen teaches a five-part framework called CHAMP for network marketing success: Calling, Heart/Why, Altitude, Mindset, Performance. She walks through the 3-3-3 activity model (contact three people, invite three to a call, follow up with three daily) and concrete tactics like writing six daily priorities and taking breaks every two hours to stay focused.

Good afternoon, everyone. We're super excited that you're here. Welcome to the office. So we're excited that you are here to be, join us in training. Thanks for joining us, Mary. So I was just telling them that I, I went to this mindset training this last, last week that was fabulous. And so I just wanted to make sure that everyone on our teams would have access to it as well, just because it was just so good. And then we would have the recording. So, so this is not original creation for me. There's some great, um, uh, business coaches here in Tulsa who were putting on a training for mindset. So I'm just going to go over with you what they talked about. So, uh, 5 questions to having predictable success. So how we can actually have success is actually predictable, and there are 5 questions to ask yourself and to go through, think through, write stuff down, um, for you to, um, be able to have success that becomes predictable. When you know the answers to these 5 questions, success will become predictable. So the first one is— the first question is, what is your calling? And I love this so much because, of course, we hear David Schmidt talk about this all the time. So extremely important that we know what our calling is. And David always talks about how It's more than money, uh, that you have to take time to pray about what it is that God is calling you to do. What is, what is the job that he's given you in this life? Not only obviously to bring people to him, and, and, um, but obviously we have a job, we have a way that our society is set up. So what are you called to do? Um, and that is going to, you know, the most important thing is that you're receiving that guidance and direction from the Lord, um, which is exactly what we heard from David again on Saturday. We get to hear it all the time. I'm so glad that he is, uh, consistently, um, leading us back to that one vision, because having everything in proper perspective and, uh, aligned properly so that our foundation is laid properly makes all the difference. Um, when, when our foundation gets out of whack um, that is where we experience, um, things that, uh, remove our peace. You know, our peace leaves. So even when things are hard, we can still have peace if we know that this is what we've been called to, what we're supposed to be doing with our lives. And that could be multiple things. There could be, you know, there could be other things in your life that you're called to. I mean, like, you know, Leslie being this fabulous massage therapist, so gifted and talented in what she does and helping people, um, but also that this technology is another level of that, is, is bringing someone some, some more help, something else that she can offer someone that aligns so well with her, um, her love for people and her, for her desire for them to be well. So it could be in multiple areas that, you know, that we're called, but we need to know what that calling is and have that constantly praying like David talked about, you know, where do you want me to go today? Who do you want me to meet today? How do you want to use me today? Um, one of the things that I always Um, you know, when I'm going somewhere and doing something, okay, you know, Lord, show me how I can be a blessing to someone today. That's always my, you know, ask before the Lord. Let me bless the people that I'm going to be around today. So, um, uh, you know, so like I was talking about Leslie, even just thinking about puzzle pieces, maybe this business is a puzzle piece into what you're doing and what you're, you're called to do. Um, it could be for different reasons. You could be a business owner, you know, you could be a technology, uh, specialist working on computers and helping people in IT. But again, you're, you know, you have something, a specialty, a gifting, a talent that you're helping people, that you're called to do that. Well, when you're talking to those people, you hear about what's going on with them. So now you have a health technology that you can plug people into our system and say, here, listen, you know, get on this, you know, Zoom, get some education about this technology. This has made a huge difference in my life. Um, you know, what do you know about stem cells? You know, so just different different conversations, you're going to hear people, they have needs in their health, and now you have something to offer them, even if you're building this business in pieces of time. So being supremely clear is priceless. So being supremely clear about your calling, knowing what it is from the Lord, not because you've decided or, you know, or you want this, that, or the other, but what has he called you. Being supremely clear about what he's called you to is absolutely priceless. So, or for like some of us, maybe this business is the main piece. This is, you know, my main piece of business. Um, but thankfully it was one of those where I did have the luxury of being able to, you know, homeschool my kids. Um, going into a whole new phase of life. They're all grown up, they're all doing their own thing. Lord, what do you want me to do with my time now? Where do you want me to spend my time? And so, um, I, I had the time to just be still and it took 2 years. 2 years for someone to place a patch on me, for the Lord to go, this is it, this is what I'm wanting you to do. So, and that, that may, may be your main thing as well. So however that fits in, in a puzzle piece, or if it's your main thing, um, just knowing what you're called to. And no matter what storm, no matter what happens, you, your peace is still there because you know that you know that you know that this is what you've been called to and what God has asked you to do. So the second thing, so that one is a C. So there's a word that this is actually going to be designed in when we get to the end. But why is it important to you? So this is the heart piece of it. Okay, so H, why is this important to you? Okay, so you have to be again supremely clear of why this calling is important to you. So for me, it's that I want to help people. I want them to know the truth about health. I want them to know how to optimize the way that God has designed their bodies so that their body can be supported because he has designed us to heal. He's given us everything that we need for healing. So that, that is, is my— what is important to me. That is what drives me. Yours may be something else. Um, uh, let me see. I'm trying to read my notes here. Uh, the other thing that was important to me was I wanted to build a network of like-minded people so that I can refer people, uh, to others that I know that are like-minded in the health community So that those people can get what they need. They can get all the parts and pieces together for what they need in their health so that they can truly embrace optimal health because our technology is fabulous. There is nothing that I have ever seen with all the doctors that I've talked to, all the healthcare practitioners. There is nothing that moves the needle faster in someone's health than the technology that we have a hold of. So adding this, having, having that piece is super important, but you still need all the other things. And David talks about this for us as well. You still need the exercise, you still need the nutrition, you know, you still need the high-quality water, which we're getting a huge bump in that here really soon. I'm so excited. But there's all these other parts and pieces, you know, if you have any kind of extra thing that you need to detox viruses, bacterias, molds, things in your body, there are some fabulous things out there to support all of those. And so that is important to me, having a like-minded community that, which is even more fabulous when they, when they decide to take on this technology and it be a piece of their puzzle as they're helping people. Because now I know when I make that referral, this person understands this technology, they're going to be able to help educate, but then they're going to have all those other parts and pieces. So that may not be you. That's just telling you, you know, me and I'm thinking, why is this important to me? So again, break that down. Why is this calling important to you? You know, break that down. Take time to think about that. Write those things out. Okay. So the third thing is, is where are you going? Okay. The altitude. So, A, altitude. Where are you going? What is your financial target? Okay. So putting a number to that, I've talked about this on multiple calls. That can be because of whatever need your family has of financial freedom that you want. For me, it's— again, it goes back to helping people so that I have the financial capability to buy however many patches, however much new Stellargize, even if it's a water treatment system, whatever it is, or even if it's outside of this technology, that I have the finances available to where when the Lord brings someone across my path that has a need, I want to be able to meet that need. And I'm super thankful that this technology helps me meet a need within the health sphere because I am so passionate about truth in health and people knowing and understanding the truth in our— in what we have, what God has given us in our health and how to support that. And so, but there's, there's always numbers attached to those things, financial numbers. How many people do you want to help? Put, put a number to that. How many is it that you want to help? So we obviously have a fabulous program that is our, you know, our what we normally train on, you know, once a week is that 3-3-3. So patching 3 people a day, inviting 3 people a day to a call, and following up with 3 people a day. You can make that number whatever you want. 1-1-1, 2-2-2, 10-10-10, whatever you want to make it for, however fast you want this to go, for whatever amount of time you have. Again, realistically looking at the amount of time that you're going to put into this business and breaking that out and then having that number that, that is your goal. And here's the thing. This was really great for me. What's important, you will track. What's important to you, you will track. So tracking that financial, what that looks like, breaking that out, tracking the numbers of people that you want to help. The guy who was doing this seminar was fabulous because he's just talking about, you know, getting out and doing this mindset training for people. And so he wants to be in front of a certain number of people for this next year. And it's just him, you know, people hearing him, people that he's reaching. And so he's got that number written down and changing that from year to year. Also, it's broke up into quarters. So breaking that number up into quarters, so financially breaking it up into a quarter. So this is also super helpful for our business as we're trying to move on to the next level, senior director, you know, all just moving up to each different level that, that we want to hit. What do the number— there's a number that is attached to that. Definitely there's numbers in volume that the business has already attached that for us, but we can probably even break that down to some extent in people, what that looks like. And the 333 is a really great, um, target for being able to move us in that direction. So when you look at that, So if we're talking to 3 people 5 days a week, that is 15 people a week that we're patching or talking to about the patches. That is so in 15— for 15 people for 52 weeks of the year, that's 780 people that would be for the year. So that's 195 people a quarter that we want to introduce this technology to. Okay. So that kind of breaks it down. But again, it's as simple as 3 a day, 5 days a week. Okay. And then the next thing is, have you told people what your goal is? Have you told people what your financial goal is? Have you told people what your, you know, number of people you're wanting to introduce this technology to? Write it down. Write it down and tell people. So if you just keep it, you know, in, in, in the— we weren't meant to keep these things in secret. Or, you know, a lot of people who are really driven, sometimes they don't want to write those things down because then they're afraid that they they feel like they're a failure. And what did we hear from Jack Canfield at conference, which was so good, is that, okay, so you set the goal to be at Senior Presidential Director and, you know, you only hit, you know, Executive, you know, Presidential Director, you know. So are we going to be upset? Well, we— I mean, no, I wouldn't be upset. Yes, did I want to meet my goal? Absolutely. But it got me a whole lot farther down the road than if I hadn't written it down, if I hadn't put plan into place if I hadn't thought through all of these things that are so important. So the amazing thing about this business is we own our own business, but we aren't in business by ourselves. And so we are owners, but we're not— we're never by ourselves. This is truly a team mentality. We have partners in this business who want to help us and so want to help us succeed. And the cool thing is, is that that is the other thing, is that I have been a Coach for many, many years. Multiple different sports. Team is where it's at. Everything is about the team. How do you help the team? How do you support the team? And whatever it is that, that you're doing, that you offer, that you can bring to the table, that you are then helping support that team in what, what the direction that they are going and what they need and what is important to them. And we can— and that can be individual. That's what's so great about this business is that Someone may just want a few extra $100 a month so that they can play— pay for their kids' dance lessons, just to have that money so their child can do something that's important to them. And I always valued those things as a mom, just having that little bit extra so my kid could get to go do something that they really wanted to do. Or maybe it's more than that. Maybe it's that you want this to be your only business that is providing for your whole family. Maybe you want to be able to have something that truly has generational wealth that is built, that is designed, that you can pass on down down to our kids. We heard David talk about that too. That is where our company is going. His vision is again about the team, helping the team, helping the people have what they want, whatever that goal is, whatever that is for them. And we can do that individually as business owners as well as we are helping other people in what their individual goals are. But we're never by ourselves. It's about what is your goal, what is your calling, what is your why, why are you doing it, and then let me help you figure out how to get there. Me help you. Let's write up a plan. Let's set down a goal. Let's write those things down. Um, so Pastor Ed sent some goals out at the beginning of the year which were so fabulous, and some questions, and those were really great questions to go through that were very specific to our business. And so I think it's so important that as we're sending those out to people, that we're also, you know, making sure we're getting back with them, that we're talking through those with them, that they're making— we're making sure that they have a plan, uh, in place. Like, we're talking about writing it down so that they know how they can meet those goals that they want for themselves. The fourth thing is, is mindset. This is an M, mindset. What do you think and say about yourself? What do you think and say about yourself? This is so important. Again, as a coach, this is where I was always driving my teams and my girls to, you know, when something happened, you know, they, they missed a serve, you know, they, you know, my question to them was, what were you thinking about? What was going through your mind? And they would come back to me and they say— they would say, well, don't miss serve. Don't— I'll be like, no, no, I want you to change that. I want you to look at this from a different perspective. It is, is I am going to hit my target. I'm looking at my target and this is going to be a great serve. I am a fabulous server. This is going to be excellent. So you have to change whatever that thing is, um, to be a positive thing because belief is so powerful. Belief is a powerful thing. Okay. And I love all of this too, because I, I grew— I actually grew up in the network marketing industry and there's so many things as a Christian that pulls at you sometimes that makes you think that some of these things are negative. But again, what's the foundation? What's your foundation of where you're coming from, and where's your checks and balances? So mine is always going back to the word of God. What does my foundation say about belief? So Proverbs 23:7, as a man thinks in his heart, so he is. Okay, the Lord has given us all kinds of information about what he wants us to believe, how he wants our brains to think. Philippians 4:8, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, admirable, if anything anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. We have very clear guides, as if this is your foundation like it is mine, biblical truth. We have very clear guides about belief and how powerful it is and the way that God wants us to think about things, especially when he's given us those things as our calling, that we would glorify and honor him through our calling and what we've been called to do and what our mindset should be around those things. And And he's created us, which means that we have— sorry, I shouldn't get emotional. My girls would always laugh at me. Oh my gosh, my girls would always laugh at me in coaching because they'd be like, oh my gosh, Coach Nikki, she's crying again. Because I— because it's— it is— it— belief is a powerful thing when you understand what you have been given in your thought processes, in your mind, and what God wants you to do with that, what he wants you to believe about the promises he's giving you about who you are. And he wants you you to walk in that. There's power. There's power in that. Sorry, my girls will just laugh. Oh my gosh, I— it's just, it's so important, um, your belief in, in what you, what you think about and where you place those thoughts and the time that you spend, um, on the things that, that your thoughts are in. So the fifth thing is, is performance. What do you have to Okay, so what do you have to do? We've already talked about it. We've already broken this out. We've got other videos you can watch as well about the 333. What do you have to do to, to make, to do your calling, to have your why, you know, to produce what it is that you're wanting to produce? What are you going to track? So that's again, we've talked a little bit about that. I loved this statement so much. Be ruthlessly diligent. Okay, be ruthlessly diligent. Do you keep your word to yourself? This was like so brilliant to me. Do you keep your word to yourself? Let that sink in. I am super, um, integrity is of high value to me. If there's something that I tell you that I'm going to do, it is, um, very important to me that I am not a person who just says things and doesn't do them, no matter how small. I'm gonna call you, you know, um, we should make an appointment, like whatever it is. I, uh, that is very, very valuable to me. So, but oftentimes, you know, if we, um, if we aren't willing to keep our, you know, keep our word to ourselves, it's even easier to let it go for other people. Or it could be the reverse, whereas I am, you know, very much careful about what I say and making sure that I do what I say that I'm going to do. Um, I may let myself, you know, put— or I'm too hard on myself as well, or I could let myself slide. I mean, in either direction, like, you know, I didn't— you know, I said I was gonna, you know, patch 3 people a day, but then I didn't get it done. Yes, can— obviously we need to have grace with ourselves. That's really an area that I struggle with because I I just, you know, I'm just pedal to the metal. Let's just go. Let's get this thing done. Um, but do you keep that word to yourself? What do you want that to look like? And it's okay if it's not 3 people a day and if it's something else. And if you, if you have, uh, if you have a calling and, and, or a need that, that you have that, you know, you have a great tool to get you because your family has this need, then you may step it up to 10 people a day. That may be something that you do because it is available. That is available. It is possible. So, uh, these— all these things are very easy to implement. Um, it, you know, so, so, so that is— if you go through that, so we've got— we have got, uh, calling, the heart, H heart, A altitude, M mindset, and P performance. Those are the 5 questions, uh, that, that are— that you need to go through and ask So that you can have predictable success, because success can be predictable. That word spells CHAMP. So that is the breakdown of CHAMP, um, of those 5 questions. And then there's just a couple of things that I thought were very easy to implement to help even break it down as far as daily things to look at of how you go about your day that can allow you to be more successful, more productive, more, um, there with whatever you're doing, being where you are. Um, one of those things is, as you prepare, prepare for your tomorrow, whatever tomorrow is, um, uh, write down the 6 most important things that you have to get done and do those first. So 6 most important things, write those down, do those first, and then you could add other things into your day. Uh, the other thing that I thought was super easy to implement was take a break every 2 hours for 10 to 15 minutes. So whether that's stretch for a little bit, go outside for a walk, um, you know, go get some tea and sit on the back porch and listen to the birds sing, you know, do some laundry, throw a load of laundry in, do some dishes, whatever it is. But every 2 hours, take that 10 to 15 minute break. I am terrible at this because I am so driven that it's like I have these tasks, these need to be done, and I'm just going to sit here until they all get done, or do whatever I need to do until they all get done. So, but this, it's been proven scientifically that you will be a more productive per person if you take that 10 to 15 minute break because they were applying it to multitasking and how truly scientifically, again, we cannot be multitaskers. And so just focusing in on those 6 things, knocking them off one at a time, not trying to multitask as we're doing those things, and then making sure we're taking that 10 to 15 minute break every 2 hours because that will revive us, rejuvenate us, and just think about about it, it even completely applies to everything that we've been taught by David. Um, you know, just in, in our mind being clear, you know, of, of even just making sure you're drinking the water that you need to drink for our technology, you know, to work, whatever it might be. But just taking that break, then you're fresher, you can think again. And a lot of times what you'll see, whatever, you know, problem or thing that you're trying to create or do, having that break, then you sit back down and it's like, Oh, okay. And then you have the answer because your mind just needed a little bit of a break from whatever it was doing. So those are just some things that I found super valuable from the mindset training that I went to this, this last week. And I hope that you have found it super valuable too. So anyway, I will stop the recording and we can chat, or if anybody has anything they want to add while I have the recording up— Pastor Ed, Vicki Lea McCutchen, Mary, anything you guys, Leslie, want to add? That you would like for it to be on the recording. It's hard to add anything to what you just said. It's just awesome. We appreciate all this training that you do for us. Yes, absolutely. I am happy to do
