More Muscle!

Nikki Lea McCutchen hosts a group call where users share results from the Hume BodyPod wristband. Pastor Ed used it for five years and saw his metabolic age reverse in one week. Others credit heavy-weight lifting with the AMP system and protein supplementation for gaining muscle and losing fat.
Chapters
Good evening, everyone. Thank you so much for joining us this evening. We are so excited to have you here tonight. I'm Nikki Lea McCutchen. I will be your host. We're going to do something a little bit different where people are just going to be able to share their stories about the technology and what's happened with them with the technology or friends or family members that they have shared this technology with. So I'm going to start with our medical disclaimer, but our call will only be for 30 minutes tonight. Um, so tonight what we'll be sharing is for informational and educational purposes only. The technology that we discuss is not intended to treat, cure, diagnose, or prevent any disease. If you are on medications or have medical conditions or pregnant or nursing, just like with embarking on any new health regimen, diet, or fitness program, we would just ask that you please check with your healthcare practitioner first. So obviously we're in a brand new year and hopefully lots of people are embarking on new fitness programs and, uh, new new eating plans and deciding that this is going to be the year that they're going to change everything. And this is a great technology to add to that. It's a fantastic tool to just have in your toolbox and add it to just increase optimal health. And that's what we're all about, is helping people just be inspired to, you know, embrace optimal health. And so we're so glad that you're here tonight. So we're just going to share some stories. And I just want to preface that with, please try your very best. It's really important that we only talk about, uh, like symptoms, like the way it makes someone feel. Same kind of deal as if you were going into your doctor and you were, you know, having some sort of episode of something and you're explaining to them what is happening to you. So we, you know, share symptoms in the way it makes us feel. We're not putting labels on it like a disease or an illness or a diagnosis because we, you know, we're not doctors. I'm not a doctor. We You know, we can't do— there's nothing that we can do for any of that. So, um, so, but we can help with overall vitality and wellness in the body and just helping people's, uh, energy, sleep, stamina, strength, those kinds of things. Just how they feel, balance in the body, balance in the brain, um, how, you know, how they feel overall. We can help people with that. We do see that happen all the time with our technology. And so just remember that when you're sharing your stories tonight. Or, and you can also— we'd be happy to answer questions if for some reason there's questions you have. So I had several, um, ladies over the holiday season— it seems like, you know, there's this time of year, it always seems like there's stuff going around, people coming down with different things, and several kids that have been just coughing for days. And so moms, you know, calling me, reaching out, like, okay, what can I do? And so I was just able to help give some very specific ways to use the technology, and thankfully, um, they were able to— those coughs then like immediately within minutes went away and their children were able to go to sleep, which obviously we know that's how the body actually heals itself is when we're able to rest and we're able to sleep. And so that was really fantastic. I always love that whenever you can help a mama because, you know, we, we hate it when our kids don't feel good and when they just seem like it's taking them, you know, such a long time to overcome something. And so I am going to post, I'm going to put those in the chat. So if anybody wants to grab those, what I used and sent those moms, But that's the really cool thing too, is that, you know, I work with several acupuncturists and they have all kinds of great information and ways that they can use their acupuncture. And the cool thing is, is that we can use the patching technology in that way as well to help. And so sometimes being able to use some of those specific points, even if you might be using the patches, using some of that knowledge from acupuncturists makes a huge difference as well. And so it's nice to be able to pull from that and help, you know, I was able to help several families with their kids with coughs this season. So anybody else have a story they'd like to share?
I have a story.
Fantastic.
All right, so you know that I'm a big proponent of Hume. I got myself a band, and Vicki's got a band now too. And I've been using that technology for about 4, almost 5 years now. Actually 5 years in July. So, uh, I haven't been really using the Hume to monitor. Every now and then I will use it, but now I'm very serious about it. In the chat, I posted my today's, uh, metabolic momentum, and I want you to read it. I want— I don't know if you can share it, but I want you to see it.
And let me figure out how to do that.
If you can save it and then you can share screen, because I can't share screen. Okay, so while you do that, I'll, I'll explain it. So with this, um, Metabolism Momentum, it goes to show you that, of course, uh, it— you may say, well, it's anecdotal. It's not anecdotal for me because I've been tracking myself, and, and Vicki's been tracking herself too. And it goes to show that we are actually, um, have this— the ability to support our body in our aging process. And understand what I just said, the ability to support. I'm not claiming that I'm aging backwards, but if you look at this paper or this snapshot that I, that I have, it shows that for every time that I am, um, every day that I age, it actually is aging backwards. Okay, so if we read it right here, for— I've been using this for like about a week now. Like, I've been monitoring myself in a week. So if you notice, life added this week is 0.3 days. Okay, that's a third of a day that I added to my life. Now what does that mean? It says you hit the sweet spot where aging basically stops. Your activity level perfectly matches your body needs. You found a perfect balance. And then it says the momentum directly impacts your pace of aging. And then scroll down to see how to translate. So the whole page is here. So as you look down where it says pace of aging, my pace is very, very slow. You notice that, right? The normal pace is right in the middle, and fast pace meaning you're just aging too fast. So my pace is aging really slow, and it says the current pace of aging is reversed meaning you're actually getting younger. You're entering an elite 0.15 momentum territory where your body's actively reversing the aging process each day. You're not just preventing aging, you're undoing it. I just felt this— I, I just got goosebumps when I just said that. Yes, this is all, guys, like, again, I've been doing this for 4, 5 years now, right? But I haven't been monitoring myself, and I have not done the last part of the HENS, which is hydration, exercise, nutrition, and sleep. I could get a little help from sleep every now and then because I'm a little bit of a workaholic sometimes. But you know what, um, I get my 8 hours sleep, and now that I'm clocking my sleep, it says that I'm doing very well in sleep also. But the key of it all, guys, and David at The Vision 2026 spoke about this, and some of you guys may have not even caught it, but he says when you are in the airport— he gave you— he gave us this scenario: when we're in an airport and you see people pass by, or not just an airport, anywhere in life, in the street or whatever, and you see people that are passing by, who are the people that you think have it together? The ones that are fit or the ones that are not? And he didn't mean anything evil by it. But if you think about it, the people that are fit, they care about not just their appearance— oh, I want to look like Superman— no, it's not about that. It's I want to be able to track myself so that I can sell my experience, because my, my experience is worth everything to me. Okay, and what I mean by that is I want to live as long as the good Lord gives me so that I can, I can benefit my life and give it, give that benefit to others. And so my, um, my whole quadrant, if you think about it as a quadrant, the H-E-N-S, it didn't get activated till I started really doing exercise. And kudos and, and, and, and a shout out to Tyler Blanton, who has got Nikki and I in extreme regimen of exercise. We exercise 5 days a week. And you know, all those excuses of not having time— if I, Pastor Ed, who is doing so many things— and Nikki, you can vouch for this because you always say that you don't know when I'm sleeping or when I have time to sleep— I have found time for working out. Granted, I'm also a jeweler. I get off of work very, very late. And then I go to work out at 2, 3, 4 o'clock in the morning. And you guys might say, what in the world? When do you sleep? I find— I find time to sleep because my momentum is all geared for all those 4 things. It clocks my eating, it clocks my nutrition, it clocks my sleep, and also, and mainly, my exercise. So I just want to thank God that now we have the ability I've, I worked out in my life before, and Vicki used to make fun of me because I used, but that was used to be my New Year's resolution, and I worked out one day. I would get this workout equipment, Bowflexes and all kind of stuff, and she would laugh at me, and I would get so mad because it was so true, you know, that I would work out one day a week and then, and then fall and then not do it. I thank God I, we started this exercise like back in in, in December, early December, and I'm like 4 weeks in. Vicki and I, 4 weeks in, and so much more excited about the future and what God is going to do with our experience. And I got to tell you what David Schmidt says, it finally clicked on me, that exercise is essential that you're doing. So when you posted, Nikki, today on, uh, working out, that was like awesome. Somebody's doing it with us too. And, and I love it that Vicki's working out with my, with with ourselves too. And we have really new cool equipment that we can use, and I just love it. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my testimony.
Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. That's fantastic. So are you paying on the Hume app? Is that why you have this, this information that you posted? Are you paying for, for that on the Hume?
No, it's actually free when you have the band. If you have the wristband—
for some reason, I don't see that on mine.
Really? So when you open up your— when you get your app, do you have—
Oh, I see it. Okay. I found it. Yeah.
So it's in the very beginning. It's at the home.
Okay.
That's so interesting because I, you know, forever the— that's because the metabolic momentum thing was confusing me and I kept asking Hume all these questions, but I never Like, I don't— or I don't know if I understand— stood the click through. So, so what I love about the Hume— so just so you all know, I do have a program that I utilize with people that I am using the Hume. So if you're wanting somebody, you know, to work with, I can help you, you know, do that as well. But anytime you can work with a trainer— I'm not— I'm helping people decide, you know, in different programs as far as like how to— what they want to do as far as their exercise. But I also worked with a trainer for for a little while as well. And so I highly recommend, you know, work— you know, working with a trainer. There's so many trainers. I know Tyler's doing this with you guys, but that do it over Zoom. So, you know, that's fantastic. And of course, I, you know, I always— yeah, I would prefer for it to be someone who's also using the patch technology so they can understand. So I've never looked at this, Pastor, and so mine says, um, my pace is slow too. My point— my pace is less than— so mine is the 0.03. So I've never seen that. Um, so that's so exciting. What I love about the Hume is that, and I think it's what you're finding, Pastor Ed, is that it gamifies your health. And so you now have something like before when, when we would work out, which I've always worked out, like I'm— I, I mean, I have my degree in that, like this is— I mean, that's just who I am. I'm going to, you know, I'm going to exercise. Um, but when you can actually see the transfer of, uh, fat percentage into muscle, like, so that you can't necessarily even feel for a really long time. But on this, using this Hume BodyPod and band, I, I'm going to tell you, I know Pastor Ed and Vicki have the band, I have the band. Don't buy the band right now. They're coming out with a new band. It should be out in April, I think. So I would wait and get their new band. And they're actually having to send me a new band because my this, this round, this first round of Band hasn't worked right. Um, so just, just know that I would not say don't get the Band right now, but you can get the BodyPod and it's still going to give you all this information. But it basically gamifies your health and you can actually start to see that change within one week. You're seeing your body be able to increase in muscle and then decrease in body fat. It's fantastic. Within like I don't even know, less than 3 months, I had gotten rid of 10% of body fat. I was probably at the highest body fat percentage, even though I've worked out my whole life. I was at the highest body fat percentage because we get into our head, like, we're supposed to tone, or we need to do all this cardio as we age, which is what you'll hear David Schmidt talk about as well. Heavy lifting. It is about the weightlifting and building the muscle mass. It's the muscle mass that changes everything as well as allows your body to increase your bone density, which is what keeps us strong, is so that the bone creates that osteoblastic, that pounding activity on your bone. So it will lay new layers of bone so that as we age, if we fall or something happens to us, then we don't break something, you know? And that's the way you do that is through lifting heavy weights. And so I actually now So not on the Hume, but even on the Hume, like losing that 10% body fat. But the InBody, which Dr. Caroline, that's what she uses in her practice, is the InBody. They have one at my gym. So I got on the InBody, which I've like kept, you know, pictures of the InBody like for the last— I don't even know how many years I've worked out at this gym. And so I've kept pictures. My body fat percentage is down to 19%. I don't think I have been there since I was in college. Like that is— and I literally just started doing this kind of sort of in August, really picked it up heavy in September and just started seeing massive amounts of change in that, being able to create that muscle, but really just that, that fat moving out and changing that over into muscle, which has been fantastic. So, and I feel strong. Like I would have people tell me before Oh, Nikki, you look, you know, you look so strong. And my thing in my head was always, but I don't feel strong. Like, I can't believe people look at me and they think that I'm strong because I don't feel strong. I feel strong. The fact that picture that I posted today, that is 320 pounds that I am, that I am pressing, leg pressing. Like, I don't— I literally would have told you when I started this, there was absolutely no way that I would ever press because I like, like, I have a knee that has some issues. I have back that has some issues. But that's the other thing, is that, um, I have had some osteopenia in my spine that's showing up. And now I went back in and had it checked. So, you know, I checked it, I guess, before, you know, and I've been doing this 6 months now, but it was before the 6 months when I had it checked. That is showing reversal in my spine. It's because of the heavy lifting and the, the compression that's happening on my spine. Now, do I need to be careful so that I don't get injured? Absolutely. And so, like, I've been worried about that, but, like, I felt like, okay, I feel the pressure on my back and on my knee, but, like, I keep thinking, okay, I, like, it starts to get— it was getting easy. And, like, you have to be— when I'm talking about lifting heavy, I'm talking about you can only do, like, 6 to 8 reps and you are, like, ugly face, you know, hurt. Like, this, this, like, I am pressing as hard as I can and to where you— to failure. Like, you just— you, you're not going to able to do it anymore. And so that is what is laying down and telling your body— I have my body— I'm saying, body, I have to have more muscle. I need you to create more muscle. And so that's what happens. That signaling happens, telling your body to create more muscle, which then it's burning more fat because it's creating more muscle. And that pressure is creating that osteoblastic activity, which is— which normally we think, oh no, I'm aging. And so I have to be careful. Sure. We do, you know, we have to ease into this, which is a great reason why you want to have a trainer, like why you, you know, would want to invest in your health in that way so that you're making sure that you're doing all these things properly. But once you, you know, kind of feel like you have it down, then you kind of know, you know, what you need to do. Or if you want to keep working with a trainer, that's fantastic too. I highly recommend that as well. But you're laying down more bone as well, which then reduces osteopenia and osteoporosis. It reverses that. And so yeah, that's the cool thing on the Hume is that you start to see all that and it gamifies your health. So it like shows you, you know, how much, you know, muscle is being gained in each different part of your limb, limbs, and then like how much fat. Like, so you're, you know, and you're watching it change colors even. So there's colors and you're trying to, you know, get to where you have high muscle so that you're in the blue, you know, and low fat so that you're in the blue. So that has been— that's been a game changer for me because I don't like lifting weights. I've never liked lifting weights.
Nights.
But because I can actually see it happen and I can see all of that quickly, like I was seeing that happen with just in a couple weeks of starting and using it, it's made it really fun. And doing it with other people, that, that makes it fun too. So having, having some other people you're doing it with and you can all celebrate together as you're seeing those changes. So I love that you guys are doing the Hume too. And I did—
I'm so excited, Pastor Ed, that I'm, I'm aging at a slower rate. I didn't know that until tonight. I'm so glad you shared that.
That's so exciting because I thought that 10 was bad. Like, I thought that 10 was a bad thing, but I never— I don't think I ever clicked on the arrow or understood.
Yay!
So exciting!
Awesome.
And also the metabolic age. I used to be 40. I'm 54 in our regular years, but it had always been 45, 46. And so since I've— for a month now, since I'm exercising it went all the way down to 41. So I've knocked down 4 more years. Again, exercise is key. Yeah, I've always heard David talk about it and it went from one ear to another because I didn't want to do it because I always thought— put excuses that I couldn't do it. But now we started it and I'm so happy. And having Tyler has been a game changer. Without Tyler, I don't know if I would be doing this. Yeah, he's incredible. He's helped Nikki and I to train and he's motivating us and constantly texting us, letting us know, meeting with us once a week and giving us a nutrition guide and all that. I mean, it's so customizable that, you know, we started with our regular dumbbells and bands that we were stretching with and doing it. And we opted to— I told Nikki, I said, if we can stick, if I can stick to this, I'm going to try this for a couple of weeks and I'm going to get the AMP. And we ordered the AMP, we installed it in our home. And that, to me, that was my Christmas gift.
Thank you, Vicki.
What's AMP?
An AMP is actually a home workout gym that you can do over 500 exercises. And it's—
Oh, what I saw Vicki post.
Yes, yes. It sticks to the wall and it's all resistance. It's cable resistance up to 100 pounds. And I don't think I'm going to be lifting more than 100 pounds anytime soon. But that has been a game changer for us. And having to customize it, and now Tyler knows that we have the AMP, so now he customizes to the AMP exercises that we need. And to me, it's a game. I put my phone down and it trains me. I say I have half an hour and I pick the exercises, I pick the sets and the repetition, and then it walks me through it.
It even tells me when to change it, rest, and all that.
And when I'm done with it, I'm even listening to music in the background. On, and praise and worship music I put on, and my kids laugh at me and they put like, Dad, you need to listen to heavy music because praise and worship ain't gonna do it. I'm like, you know what, it does.
And I would love it.
Yes, absolutely. Like, the whole reason I can do this is because God is helping me.
Amen.
Yes, absolutely. Oh my gosh, for sure. I love that so much.
And yeah, that's And I mean, I feel like the Hume technology has really changed, changes that because it does just gamifying your health and the fact, like you said, getting to see your biologic age. So, Pastor Ed, you're older than me and you're younger than me.
You go.
I'm going to have to try to catch up with you.
So I'm 51 and mine says I'm 43.
So that's been my lowest so far. But I mean, that's because I've slowly watched that go down, down, down, down, down. So that's exciting too. But like Pastor Ed was saying, it's about the muscle. It's when you're putting on that muscle that causes that change and you're getting rid of that, that body fat. So, and it's crazy when you— obviously when you combine it with, um, good nutrition, that how, how quickly things actually go, you know. So, um, and just, I, I love the app. The app has changed everything for me. The BodyPod has changed everything for me to be excited about weightlifting. So yeah. Yes. Anybody else? I know we're over time, so anybody else want to share? We didn't really share about patches, but that's kind of the point, right? Like, we— this whole technology is not just about age anti-aging. It's truly about age reversal and giving your body the ability to do that. And so, you know, when you look at our clinical studies and some of those things, you see that those things show up in, you know, the mitochondria of our entire cardiovascular system and how this technology is supports that. So that would then fall in line with what we're seeing on that metabolic momentum of saying that we're actually aging very slowly because this technology is getting more and more regenerative cells up and working on our behalf so that we can have that type of regeneration. So even though we're in our 50s, we can do some of these really hard things like when we were younger. I mean, you know, so obviously I'm not going to go out and, you know, play a full basketball game and run at max speed like I used to in high school and college, but The fact that my body fat percentage is the same as when I was that age is shocking to me. That's absolutely shocking to me because I think most women especially, we would say, oh, I'll never be able to not have this fat on me anymore. I mean, sure, I need to lose some weight. I can probably lose some weight, but we don't think about it in terms of— I mean, sure, there's still lots of things about our bodies that are different, but to have my body fat percentage be the same as that, that's shocking for me to be able to do that. Wow. Anybody else want to share? We can share about the patches, whatever you want to share. We're happy to have you.
I wanted to share about, um, how since I've been using the Hume BodyPod and the, and the band, how it's shown my left arm because I had torn my bicep. Um, yes, that year. And I've been working out. It wasn't like intense working out, but since I've been doing this program with Tyler, he has me set to certain exercises and for me, I'm just the kind of person, all I need to know is what I need to do. What is my job? My job is to get my workout done, and I do all of the workouts that he has. So whatever he's got me on has increased my muscle mass in my left arm, and I'm like, thank you, God. That's all.
That's fantastic. Yes. And you know, this is another interesting tip, and Vicki, I don't know how much protein you've added to your diet, but I was having a weird stomach thing going on, and so I wasn't— I was struggling to eat anything thing. But I kept, I kept doing my heavy lifting. And so we were seeing consistent muscle gains even though I was not eating high protein. Now, I was very careful about— I was still getting in amino acid powders, collagen powders. So I was doing bone broth. I was doing a lot of things like that so that I still would have that support. But my trainer was like, okay, this is this is really unusual that you're not able to put in a lot of protein, like what would need to be required for you to make those muscle gains. And yet we're seeing your muscle continue to go up. So, yeah. So how are you doing on your protein?
Oh, yeah, we have protein. Yeah. And just, you know, definitely lifestyle changes, like making sure that you get a good, good round meal, like what is going to support your body. So you want to get just enough fats, just enough carbs, and just enough protein on that plate, you know, eat your veggies and drink all your water and get your amino acids in. So, um, yeah, that's— it's definitely changed our health in, in a great way. So I'm thankful for it, and I'm, I'm even more thankful that my husband's on board with it now because it makes it much more enjoyable.
Yes, and you got a fun new exercise machine out of the deal.
Yes, exactly.
That's awesome. I love it.
Well, thank you all so much for coming on.
This is definitely an unusual call tonight, but I hope you got some good, good little nuggets of information. And be sure to get back with whoever invited you to call tonight. They can help you with the technology. They're happy to help you with the technology. And if you want to join, you know, the rest of us in our little, our little escapade with increasing our muscle and using the Hume technology as well. We would love to share any of that with you as well. So with that, we pray blessing over each and every one of you. Good night, everyone. Have a good evening.
Good night. God bless. Good night.
God bless.
Good night.
God bless.
